20/05/2026: Great pizza - it was recommended by a local and we were not disappointed! Staff were very welcoming to tourists and service was efficient.

30/06/2026: The first time we were here in 2025, we had a great time. For this reason, we returned again this year. Unfortunately, we discovered that the management had just changed, which is probably why some of the dishes served have become so scarce and consequently expensive. Specifically, we had a freshly caught white sea bream for €58 (this was the only valid one), a "great" mixed fried fish (€28) with far, far more vegetables than fish, which was actually very little (I had asked to replace the prawns with squid...the plate still had one head, and only that, of a prawn), and a mixed grill of fish (€45) with one prawn, one prawn, one scampi, one squid, and three very small cubes of tuna (when there should have been a fillet of fresh fish)... in addition to the usual large amount of vegetables that "ruled" the table. In short, you could say that if I wanted to eat vegetables, I'd go to a greengrocer... The bill was steep! €158 (including three covers at €5 each), without dessert or wine, and a bottle of water that kept us company during the long 15-20 minute wait for the menu. We were wrong not to complain right away...we were so hungry. Unfortunately, our feedback (complaint) at the end of the meal was useless...the manager, while apologizing for our overall lack of satisfaction, didn't bat an eyelid, not even discounting the water...or offering a coffee even just for the "good gesture," and even replied that I had asked for the prawns to be removed (yes, but in exchange for a few squid...not just one). In short, a beautiful place where, sadly, we'll never set foot again!

23/06/2026: What can I say? We were customers who fell in love with this restaurant, not only because the food was truly delicious, but also and above all because we were greeted every time with a smile and the warmth of the old owners... true restaurateurs, elegant in their manners, always ready to shake hands in welcome and farewell... unfortunately, we returned under this new management... infinite sadness... not even a smile... the lady didn't even deign to get up to say hello and didn't take her eyes off her calculator even when we left after paying... for us, it's truly worthless. It's a shame because the food is quite good and deserves an elegant welcome... but you know, class can't be bought.

04/07/2026: A week's vacation with excursions in the surrounding area, truly excellent dinners, a pool, and tranquility. I highly recommend it.

11/06/2026: I want to congratulate you because you truly deserve it! A very beautiful, well-kept, and peaceful place. A rustic structure with a stunning garden. We ate abundantly and very well, and the staff were very kind, approachable, and available for any request. We will definitely be back.

30/04/2026: There are several restaurants in the village, all within a few minutes’ walk (mostly via steps) from anywhere in the village. There were several reasons why we, having stayed in the village for a few days, chose this one: -The location with a view -A small but excellent selection at an osteria -Not right down by the road It was a good choice and we weren’t disappointed: . We turned up on the spur of the moment without a booking and were warmly welcomed in the evening and shown to a cosy table inside. The dishes were explained to us in Italian and a little English, and we were given a recommendation for the dish of the day. Everything we ordered and tasted that day, and on our next visit, was beautifully presented and impeccably prepared. Accompanied by house wine and a delicious dessert. What more could you want? Top class! It’s particularly worth mentioning that on our second visit we received a 5% discount on the bill, as if we were long-standing customers. A top recommendation from us for Marciano.

26/05/2026: We walked up to the beach bar on a whim for dinner on Sunday evening, after having enjoyed a delicious octopus salad at lunchtime. As requested, we were given a table in the shade at the side, where we could bring our dog. The table was specially set for us. Just like at lunchtime, the service was very friendly and helpful when we struggled with Italian. The food was excellent; the portions weren't huge, but they were very tasty and more than enough for us. The tiramisu at the end was a little runny, but that didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal. I imagine it's much busier here during the high season; at the end of May, it was very pleasant, and there weren't many tables occupied outside.

09/07/2026: according to the reviews it looked nice, unfortunately it wasn't. I had a pizza with mortadella and it wasn't good. the dough wasn't good quality and the ingredients weren't good at all. I suspect the stracciatella was expired. it was sour and strangely crushed. I didn't feel well afterwards

27/04/2026: On a short vacation on Elba Island, I'd been wanting to try the cuisine at Teatro Bistrot for a long time, and I must say it was worth the wait. I started with excellent fried anchovies, followed by spaghetti with mullet bottarga and lemon, which I highly recommend. The tagliolini del teatro, a house recipe, were also delicious. Followed by a magnificent amberjack, the catch of the day. The wine selection is excellent, ranging from the island's local wines to an incredible blanc de noirs recommended by the owner. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options, from the characteristic indoor setting to a beautiful outdoor terrace with an enchanting view. The staff is friendly and attentive, helping you experience the island's atmosphere, captivating you with its beauty. A visit to Teatro Bistrot is not to be missed under any circumstances; I hope to return in September! I thank the owners, Fiona and Antonio, for their wonderful welcome.

04/05/2026: A good experience: a traditional trattoria, good food (we had cacciucco and pasta with clams, both well-made), and a fair price overall. I'd go back.

28/06/2026: My wife and I went to this trattoria as soon as we arrived on the ferry from Corsica. I had an excellent caciucco dish (very generous portions), and my wife had sea bass. Everything was excellent, very kind and professional.

24/06/2026: We parked downtown in the nearby paid parking lot. A historic venue with a well-kept and clean ambiance and bathrooms. The courtesy, quality, quantity, and attentiveness were beyond excellent. A lunch of Caciucco for four adults was delicious and very plentiful, so much so that we took some home.

05/06/2026: A modest sized restaurant but excellent in food. Over the past 5 years I have been going there every now and then. It has never disappointed me in terms of quality and prices. I highly recommend it and after years it continues to maintain the same TOP standard.
