16/08/2024: The hospitality is warm and happy, the decor elegant. The menu features simple dishes, well described and showcases favorites from the local region. Vegetarians are well served, and the beef is superb. Our server Gianpietro was warm, and enthusiastic and could be heard singing softly along with the music in idle moments. A wonderful atmosphere with multiple reasons to return, freshly prepared dishes, too many tempting choices. Highly recommended!

21/08/2024: Ate with a group of friends, ate well, very good pici with garlic, duck with orange, which is not a dish I usually like, very good as was the tagliatelle. Pleasant house wine. All under €50 including coffee and digestive.

Super pleasant experience overall. Would definitely recommend especially for people with food allergies because they take these very very serious!!

02/08/2024: I went there after seeing it at Yeongalnam Utop and it was delicious!! 1. Carbonara - It was the most delicious carbonara I ate during my trip to Italy (when I ate it, I thought, "Oh, this is Italian carbonara," but after the trip, I realized that this was delicious.) It was moderately salty and didn't taste too salty. I also went to the No. 1 store in Rome... Carbonara here kept coming to mind. 2. T-bone steak - Compared to the T-bones I ate during the trip, it wasn't the best, but it was delicious. (However, our T-bone had a lot of fat, so I had to take off a bit before eating, but it would be good to tell me if I wanted more of the part when I showed the raw meat in advance.) The meat was thinly sliced. It was comfortable to come out. 3. I went an hour earlier than the reserved time, but there weren't as many people as I thought, so I sat down right away. I told him I came after seeing it on YouTube and he was happy to see me😉

25/08/2024: Alla mia collezione di cene al Borgo San Jacopo mancava il menù estivo, così appena rientrata dalle vacanze ho organizzato con una mia cara amica. Abbiamo gustato pienamente i piatti che Claudio e la brigata hanno pensato per la stagione estiva, iniziando con l’anguria nell’amuse bouche, poi la melanzana come antipasto, per proseguire con gli spaghetti e caviale e ostriche , lo scorfano e finale con il piccione. Un girandola di sapori accompagnata dal perfetto abbinamento dei vini proposti da Salvatore, sommelier attento alle novità, capace di introdurre un vino del Libano e poi farti apprezzare le grandi maison italiane. Impeccabile anche l’accoglienza, Nicola, Domiziana ci hanno coccolate per tutta la sera, la loro è stata un’attenzione misurata che insieme alla presenza professionale di Claudio e Lorenzo in sala ha reso la serata speciale.
24/08/2024: Ieri sera siamo stati a cena a borgo San Jacopo …. Sempre una conferma! L’accoglienza è straordinaria…. In particolare grazie a Nicola, restaurant manager, con la complicità deliziosa di Domiziana. Il cibo è stato eccellente con particolare elogio alla melanzana ed il piccione del menu estivo ( da provare) e tutto accompagnato da vini eccezionale scelti con grande cura da Salvatore biscotti che non delude mai ….. una certezza tutto

01/07/2024: Delicious food and great hospitality. Among other things, we ate wonderful stuffed zucchini flowers and tortelli with aubergine cream and bacon which was divine. We split the flowers in two, and so that we would then have a fair experience, they offered us an extra flower instead. Eating there was an art experience, because of the delicious food and nice hospitality from the staff and the price was affordable even for a student. Highly recommend.

04/09/2024: Locale molto carino , ottimo il cibo ma la cosa migliore da 10 è la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale , bravissimo e molto professionale il cameriere che ci ha seguito , abbiamo avuto un problema con un secondo molto disponibile a risolverlo , che dire trovarne di persone che amano fare il loro lavoro ....bravissimi ragazzi continuate così , sia come professionalità sia per l'ottimo cibo .
31/08/2024: Osteria storica nel centro di Firenze con interni ben curati ed accoglienti e personale gentile. Ampia celta di piatti della tradizione fiorentina con qualche proposta extra. Vasta scelta di vini ma al calice è possibile avere solo il Chianti della casa, oppure si può optare per una mezza bottiglia. Avevo prenotato nell'area esterna per poi scoprire che è coperta da una tettoia retraibile che però non era stata aperta nonostante il clima estivo. I locali sono comunque climatizzati. Prezzo corretto.

12/08/2024: In Florence, I got super lucky in that Santa Elisabetta was a 5 min walk from my hotel, and that they had reservations available the next day for lunch, so I booked a table for one. The restaurant is located in a tiny space (just 6 tables) within a 13th century stone tower. There was only one other person in the restaurant during the entire duration of my meal - which meant that both my server and the 'overall server' were pretty focused on us the entire time. My server even escorted me up to the restaurant once I arrived at the location. I don't mean to sound too hyperbolic, but it feels like I ascended to a higher plane of existence when it comes to dining. I ordered the Carte Blanche option, which was a 3 course tasting menu of whatever the chef chose from the main dishes. The meal consisted of 7 separate sections, each with their specific parts. Firstly, it started with an amuse bouche, which consisted of 5 separate small dishes - there was chicken liver, prawn, oysters, and so on. It was in this very first meal that I realized I was going to have a meal that far exceeded the quality of anything that I've had before. Next, the bread came out, and this bread was just astounding. I was seeing types of bread I've never seen before. My favorite part of this was what looks like the focaccia, with lardo on top. The first main course was raw red prawns and caviar. It was my first time trying caviar, which I absolutely loved Next came what might be the best food I've had in my life - a spaghetti made with 3 different types of algae butter, and sea urchins. I can't even describe how good this pasta was - from the noodles, to the meat, to the natural, earthy flavors Before dessert, there was a mood cleanser of hibiscus tea and chocolate mousse. Dessert consisted of yogurt froth, kiwi, and namaleka, and was so good it exceeded a melt-in-your-mouth feeling. I thought I was done at this point, but they brought out another set of 5 smaller pastries - compliments of the pastry chef. These included a pistachio cream lollipop, french biscuits, madeleine, and more The cost of the Carte Blanche that I ordered was 159 euros, and I also got a glass of champagne for 25 euros I spent over 2 hours at this restaurant - way longer than I thought it would actually be. Like I said, this was my first fine dining experience of any kind, so I really had no idea what to expect. I was absolutely blown away by this experience and consider it to be 100% worth the money. For me - this felt like every single part of this experience was perfect. Everything I ate here was a massive step above any food I've had in the past. The quality is unreal. The variety is unparalleled. There are ingredients used here that I've never seen before - and stuff I didn't even know was edible. The amount of different food I got to try was like nothing I've experienced before. I left the restaurant incredibly full and completely satisfied Overall, this is an all-time experience. 10/10

23/06/2024: A friendly address which had the good taste of still being open at 1:30 p.m. We took the lunch menu which is very affordable (12-13€) and which covers two dishes, cover and water. I had nduja pasta as a first course, which was not exceptional. Cooked al dente but a little dry texture, not much sauce and not much nduja. Damage. On the other hand, it was very spicy and quite good. For the main course I had a piece of roast pork which was very good, accompanied by peas (frozen, but it was specified) with garlic. The whole thing was good. The quantities aren't huge but it gets the job done. The atmosphere is quite nice, you have the impression of being in a rather traditional neighborhood restaurant, not too touristy. The service was not exceptional; we waited a very long time before the menu was brought to us (because the menu of the day was already at another table) without being told anything to make us wait. I think the problem was the language barrier so I don't hold it too hard for the final grade. In summary ? Decent food, decent prices. It's not exceptional but it makes the coffee for an "everyday" meal.
