Delicious desserts. Precise and empathetic service. Usual welcoming location. Fair price, in line with the dishes served. Highly recommended.

07/04/2025: I was at Papposileno and I must say that it was one of those dinners that remain in your heart. Each dish was a discovery, prepared with the freshest ingredients and surprising, but never forced, combinations. Every bite was an explosion of flavours, from the first to the last. The wine they recommended to me was simply perfect, it enhanced each course without ever overpowering it. It is immediately clear that there is careful research behind every bottle. The staff? Impeccable. Kind, helpful and always ready to give advice or tell the story of a dish or a wine, all with a sincere smile that makes you feel pampered. The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the kind that makes you want to stay and chat for a long time after dinner, with the last sip of wine in hand. In short, Papposileno is not just a place to eat well: it is an experience to live and relive. I can't wait to go back!

28/01/2025: A welcoming and very well furnished restaurant, in the cellars of an ancient building. Outdoor table for the summer. A bar for cocktails at the entrance. Unexpectedly the menu is mainly based on fish, despite being on the hills that separate Chianti and Valdarno. Very fresh and excellent quality raw materials. Well prepared and presented dishes. Very professional and courteous service. Complete and detailed wine list. Average high price.

03/06/2025: Recommended by my brother. Family run restaurant. When twice during our stay. Excellent Fiorentina steak. The rest is very good as well. All typical Tuscan. Very good choice of wines but we appreciated the house wine. Relaxed atmosphere. Very reasonable waiting time. My daughter is vegetarian and my wife has DT1. Both were at ease and both times we left this restaurant with a smile.

12/05/2025: If you’re within 100 miles, it’s absolutely worth the trip to experience this exceptional restaurant. From the food to the ambiance—and especially the host and chef, Gino—everything was unforgettable. We began with a pear, honey, and walnut appetizer that was deceptively simple yet perfectly balanced. Next came a rich, homemade pasta with meat sauce, followed by the most incredible Florentine steak we’ve ever tasted. We ended the meal with a luxurious chocolate mousse made from high-end chocolate—decadent and delicious. Gino was a true highlight: warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a memorable evening. A charming man in a truly charming place.

31/05/2025: Such a nice place at the top of the plaza. The service was sharp, and the food choices outstanding. For the lunch menu, you can select from the "classics" menu (as in traditional Italian) or the gourmet menu. The gourmet menu still features great Italian ingredients, but the preparations are more inventive.

30/05/2025: Posizione eccellente nella piazza più importante della città, sotto i portici del Vasari. Tavoli perfettamente preparati, personale gentile e preparato. Menù vario e vini ben assortiti. Impiattamenti ben realizzati. Il "facsimile" del tiramisù, semplicemente fantastico sia come preparazione al tavolo che come sapori. N.B. non è il vero tiramisù a scanso di equivoci ma una interpretazione dello chef. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità.

22/04/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante insieme a una coppia di amici e alle loro bambine. Eravamo in sei e siamo stati messi in un tavolo spazioso e confortevole. L'atmosfera è familiare e il personale si è dimostrato attento e preparato: alcuni hanno ordinato il primo e altri il secondo, ma i piatti sono arrivati sincronizzati alla perfezione e ci hanno permesso di mangiare tutti insieme. Cibo molto buono, soprattutto la tagliata di tonno.

01/05/2025: Our stay at La Corte Dei Papi was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The elegant accommodations, relaxing grounds and attentive service created the ultimate in relaxation. The food, not only the best we had in Italy, was some of the best food we have ever eaten anywhere worldwide. A stay at La Corte Dei Papi will be a "must" on all our return visits to Italy.

04/05/2025: Ate very well. Typical dishes of the Arezzo area. Excellent value for money. It was Saturday evening and I wonder why there weren't many people there given the excellent quality of the dishes, the impeccable service and the affordable prices. Absolutely worth trying. Optimal.

24/02/2025: Elegant and romantic venue. Relaxing atmosphere with attention to the smallest details. Very attentive, kind and helpful service. Also be careful about any allergies and intolerances. Traditional dishes revisited in a modern but not too gourmet way. Generous portions and a more than fair price! Perfect for an evening with friends or to celebrate a special occasion, I would definitely go back!

16/05/2025: Exceptional food and super helpful staff! There was a small mix-up due to my mistake in the order and the manager did everything she could to accommodate us even though it wasn't her fault! Unfortunately, you can't give more than 5 stars! It definitely deserves to go back!
