21/08/2025: Last night we had dinner at this truly special place. The first thing we noticed was the attention to detail and the elegant, delightful atmosphere. The hostess and the talented Tommaso were able to recommend the best options for us, and indeed, the dinner was excellent! Traditional and more sophisticated dishes, top-quality organic ingredients from Aboca, excellent wines, and a perfect finish with delicious desserts and a local herb liqueur. 30/07/2025: A Memorable Dinner in Piazza San Francesco We had dinner here while staying in Arezzo, following a recommendation from our Airbnb host. Outdoor seating wasn’t available, but we were seated inside right away. The space was elegant—warm lighting, beautiful details, and a calm, refined atmosphere. At first, we weren’t sure if it would be the right fit since we were with our young son and teenagers, and the restaurant is Michelin-rated. But we stayed, and we’re so glad we did. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful in walking us through the menu. It’s divided into three sections, and they suggest two dishes per person. Only my husband followed that, starting with the steak tartare, which was excellent. We all had pasta dishes, and every one was incredible. I had the duck tagliatelle with ragù—delectable and made with rich precision. The flavors were deep and comforting. Our vegetarian guest had the ravioli and savored every bite. Each dish felt intentional and beautifully prepared, without being overdone. It was a quiet, elegant dinner. If you’re looking for more of a lively scene, the patio might be better. But if you want a relaxed, elevated evening with thoughtful food and a great bottle of wine, dining inside is a perfect choice. Highly recommend.

25/08/2025: We had a wonderful dinner with the family. The tagliata and octopus were outstanding. The spaghetti with blueberries, cream cheese, and pistachios was a particular highlight. The chef made a special spaghetti with tomato sauce for our daughter, which wasn't on the menu. But she should, because he really made the most of this standard dish! Great ambiance, excellent service - go there ☺️

20/08/2025: Discovered with a GPS, it has become a welcome stop on my and my daughters' trips from the Veneto to Rome and other destinations along the E45. The hospitality is superb, the dishes are memorable—for me, the best is the Vino Nobile stew with mashed potatoes and leeks—but also much more, with a focus on seasonality. Excellent wines by the glass.

31/08/2025: When a restaurant enjoys a prime location on the central square in a charming Italian city, you expect high prices and mediocre quality. This was different: good wines, excellent food, and a super-friendly server made Sunday lunch a delight. The salmon on salad with lemon foam was one of the best I've ever had. Benissimo! X

30/08/2025: Excellent experience at this historic restaurant! We ate under the porticoes, served by very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We started with a mixed appetizer platter and hand-picked raw ham with crostini. While we waited, we were served excellent bread with local olive oil. This was followed by a carpaccio and an excellent Scottona tartare! Highly recommended! For those who criticize the wait times on busy days, I recommend fast food restaurants where the food is subpar and you have to wait anyway! We spent two days in Arezzo and chose this restaurant twice for lunch.

30/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant because it was one of the few open on Mondays. In short, the restaurant isn't worth the price; maybe the pizza, but we didn't try it. I wouldn't return. The pappa al pompdoro and the tagliatelle with white ragù were good. We were, however, disappointed by the meat, which wasn't even asked how we'd cooked it. The practice of not listing the cover charge (€3.50, like in Milan or Florence), water, and wine by the glass on the menu is very annoying.

11/09/2025: Best view of the borgo, great food and wonderful staff! A little pricier than lower borgo but it was worth it

02/09/2025: A charming place with a breathtaking view, perched on the side of the town of Anghiari, cool (breezy) even in the summer. Service was average, but the food was a shame; the first courses were microwaved. Regarding the food, nothing too bad, to be honest, but I was bitterly disappointed when, between appetizers (an excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses), on my way to the bathroom, I noticed the employee placing what would have been our dishes into two microwaves set up in the small "kitchen." When I returned to the table, with the classic "ding" sound, the two dishes were promptly served. As already mentioned, nothing really bad, but the microwave is noticeable... the heat quickly dissipates, and the pasta remains a bit stringy. A shame, because the place is very nice! I recommend enjoying the terrace exclusively for a simple aperitif.

16/08/2025: A complete joke from start to finish. The sad appetizer: six slices of ordinary prosciutto, six slices of supermarket salami, three slices of anonymous cheese, and nine micro-slices of bread with sauce, chopped tomatoes, and lard with "truffle" (quotes required). Then came a veal "fillet"... with tiny bones! I almost broke a tooth: amateurish stuff. Side dish? A sprig of salad thrown in for show. Then two pasta dishes: one with pesto, one with a ragù whose meat was unclear. Both forgettable, like a school cafeteria (from the 1990s). Drinks: beer, water, a glass of Coca-Cola poured from a hidden bottle (what exactly were they trying to hide?), and a quart of Chianti. Final bill: 81 euros. An insult to the customer's intelligence. Poor quality, paltry quantity, zero transparency. If this is their concept of dining, I'd be better off getting a sandwich at the bar. Never again. I strongly advise against it.

20/08/2025: Highly recommended, starting with the professionalism of the welcoming and friendly waitresses. We ate fish and I must say it was excellent value for money. The wine list is well-curated and the desserts are delicious.

07/08/2025: Ipo is our go-to restaurant in the Valdarno. Besides the always friendly and helpful staff, the cuisine is top-notch. Here you'll find sublime seafood, top-quality meat, and, last but not least, exceptional pizza. All at a very reasonable price! What more can we say? Go and try it!

04/09/2025: My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a Google recommendation. It's not a large but well-maintained restaurant, with outdoor seating in the center of town. For starters, we had ricotta and spinach ravioli with butter and sage, and a cream of truffle and porcini mushrooms, both delicious. For main course, grilled chicken breast for two, with a side of lemon spinach and French fries. For dessert, we had tiramisu (homemade) and caramel panna cotta, water, and a Coke. Everything was truly well-cooked, combined with friendly and professional service, so there were no long waits despite the crowded restaurant. The bill, €50, proved to be a truly excellent value. Highly recommended!

29/08/2025: It was one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten in Italy. I couldn't understand why there were so many positive reviews. We had a margarita, but I found the dough to be very hard and the ingredients generally of poor quality.
