19/04/2026: Amazing sandwiches. As an Arezzo native, I can guarantee the quality and quantity you often see in photos. Just steps from the Basilica of San Francesco, in Piazza della Badia. Whenever out-of-town friends come to visit, I always bring them here: we grab a sandwich and eat it in the square together with a nice beer! <3

16/07/2026: Tasty pizza, fantastic service. The wine was a large glass of house wine, but here in this region it is better than what you get for more back home.

10/05/2026: Very nice traditional Italian pizzeria. Good selection of toppings, with a crust on a harder side. The desserts we had were simple, yet very delicious. Restaurant has traditional vibe. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking outside the restaurant.

06/07/2026: I'll start by saying I have a soft spot for the town of Civitella; my uncle was born there, and we often visited. I'm also passionate about history, and the events of 1944 deeply impacted me. The location is beautiful; in addition to the square with the clock, you can enjoy a splendid view of the Valdichiana. When I dined there, it was very hot in the town, and being at the right altitude on a breezy evening really cooled me down. The dishes are unique, well-prepared, and excellent, and the wine cellar offers a wide selection. The service was appreciated. I didn't use the accommodation, so I can't review it, but some people I know have stayed there and were satisfied.

06/07/2026: An authentic restaurant with typical Tuscan dishes, all very tasty. The pizzas have a very thin crust. We arrived on Sunday evening without a reservation and still got a table, which isn't always the case. The service could be improved if all orders and the bill didn't go through the owner, as it takes a while to order. Unfortunately, we waited a very long time for our drinks, but all in all, a good experience with a beautiful view.

26/05/2026: For our seaside wedding, we chose Ventura Catering, and I must say we didn't regret it. Both the food and the service were excellent. Dario, Ignazio, Angela, and the entire staff were friendly, discreet, and impeccable in every way. The food was top-notch. Thank you for helping make our event a success!

13/07/2026: We ate lunch there twice during our short stay in Cortona because we were so impressed with the restaurant. The view is breathtaking. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The food was also delicious. They were even very accommodating when I requested a vegan dish. The pici with tomato was fantastic. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

04/11/2025: Personally, we didn't enjoy it. We ordered a seafood risotto, which arrived completely overcooked and had a rather questionable flavor. A plate of pasta with an inedible sauce and pizzas that were barely adequate.

04/06/2026: Honestly, I've made better pizza at home with my Oonio than the one I had here with porcini mushrooms. The service was completely unmotivated, the cutlery arrived dirty, and we received an extra appetizer that we hadn't ordered. All in all, very disappointed; even the bruschetta wasn't particularly tasty. The only good thing about the restaurant is that there's a good ice cream parlor right next door.

11/05/2026: There were two of us. We didn't even get a chance to try the food before the rude waiter responded with a resounding "NO, WE'RE FULL!" Three American tourists came in right behind us and asked for exactly what we'd asked for, and he replied, "YES, CHOOSE THE TABLE YOU LIKE BEST!" Since you're in the business, I hope you only have American customers so we can leave those few euros as a tip, because if this is the way you present yourself, you're going to have to change your career!

02/04/2026: A welcoming and beautifully decorated restaurant in the cellars of an ancient building. Outdoor seating is available for warmer weather. A cocktail bar is located at the entrance. The menu, surprisingly, is primarily seafood-based, despite being located in the hills between Chianti and Valdarno. The ingredients are extremely fresh and of excellent quality. Dishes are well prepared and presented. The service is very professional and courteous. The wine list is comprehensive and varied. Prices are moderately high.

15/04/2026: We spent three magical nights at I Tre Baroni, taking advantage of the three-night package that included a room with a spa, a private massage, a private excursion, and a tasting dinner at the Mater restaurant (a truly special place!). What can I say? From the very beginning, Gessica was incredibly kind and available to answer all our questions and clarify any doubts, even before our stay, personalizing our experience. When we arrived, we immediately felt welcomed. The room was gorgeous, very spacious, with a spectacular view of the Casentinesi Forests National Park. The room was spotless, with a hot tub and sauna. The private excursion with Stefano was a wonderful experience: his guide was invaluable in helping us fully appreciate the wonders of the park! The dinners at the restaurant were also highly recommended: the atmosphere is meticulously maintained and welcoming, the service impeccable, and you have the opportunity to sample the local flavors, expertly cooked and served. 13/04/2026: An unacceptable experience. I was looking for the silence of Casentino, but I found chaos. It all started with a lack of transparency: I booked a suite with a sauna, but upon check-in, they gave me a different room without telling me, hoping I wouldn't notice. Only after I protested was I granted a change; there's no point in calling it an upgrade, since the room offered lacked the booked amenities and was aesthetically inferior. The rest was a crescendo of poor service: - Technical: The suite shower was unusable due to lack of pressure. - Acoustic: A sleepless night due to the roar of the whirlpool tubs below (until midnight). I didn't call again just to avoid waking my partner, who, after various mix-ups, had only managed to sleep thanks to earplugs. - Construction site: Awake at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, hammering on the roof and weaving between construction trucks to get to breakfast. Work was kept quiet until arrival despite a recent reservation (24 hours in advance). The 50% discount was obtained only after a firm discussion. The initial disrespect and the construction-like environment are incompatible with a high-end hotel. Not recommended.

16/05/2026: More style than substance, or at least that's the claim. In my opinion, the portions were tiny, and the taste and quality varied. The pork tenderloin was as dry as a pancake. There's more to say, including some positive things, but overall, no, I wasn't satisfied at all. I went home disappointed and hungry to have my second dinner there.

07/05/2026: Passing through charming Anghiari, I chose this trattoria based on the menu and reviews. I had made a reservation to be safe, but since it was a weekday, it wasn't necessary, especially since we were a couple. I expected traditional cuisine, and that's exactly what I got. A platter of local cured meats, two first courses, and the typical poccia dessert. I was completely satisfied. The place is pleasantly elegant, but it feels like home. Excellent service and hospitality. The appetizer included a pappa al pomodoro (tomato soup) and a taste of vin santo with dessert. Reasonable prices considering all of this. I would return. Recommended.
