11/03/2026: Honestly, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The feeling of being taken for a ride with an EXCESSIVELY HIGH bill overshadowed the quality of the food, which in some dishes was good. We ordered 1 appetizer, 1 first course, 1 grilled dish, and 1 second course. ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT I HAD BEEN RIPPED OFF. It's a shame I chose it because I saw locals, and normally, if they're there, they're treated well. Instead, the grilled fish was just red mullet and very expensive. The portions were small; I must say the swordfish meatballs were delicious, but not enough for the incredibly high bill. It's a shame I ended up at a restaurant and service that wasn't in keeping with the nice people of Palermo. It's a shame I received this kind of treatment. I'm writing this now because I've reread several negative comments, all about the same things. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPECTED, NOT SCREWED OFF. I speak as a business owner as well as a customer!!

16/03/2026: 5 stars!!! Very beautiful and welcoming place!! The staff were courteous, friendly, and very professional. The music was very pleasant, and the location was very strategic. We had a wonderful meal, and the cocktails were expertly crafted!

22/02/2026: A place NOT to return to. When they say: "all talk and no action." When you're interested in "stealing" people's money, without caring about the customers. It's unthinkable that from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM dinner still wasn't served, that dishes intended for other tables were brought out three times, that despite several joking requests, at 11:00 PM you still haven't let me eat. The owners/managers were also sitting at the table next to ours. The least you could do was get up and figure out what was going on, or maybe offer them a snack to pass the time, or a drink, or whatever. Instead, there were just waiters who didn't know... At which point, feeling rather annoyed, I told them they could cancel my order and that I didn't intend to pay for what I'd drunk, because that was no way to run a restaurant. "He" (I don't know if he was the owner or the owner's husband...) heard me say that the place was awful and that I wouldn't be back, and that I'd be writing bad reviews. I moved closer to the musicians, at which point he got up and started arguing with my friends, who hadn't said anything, but given the tone and arrogance with which this rude guy addressed the ladies, my friend's husband had to intervene. In short, since instead of apologizing and finding a solution, they also wanted to be accountable and right, they decided to leave. My friend wanted to pay for what we had drunk, but the lady didn't want to: at least she tried to make amends. The only polite person who apologized was the guy who brought the drinks, but I told him he had nothing to do with it, but that wasn't how you run a place. Obviously, I won't set foot in there again, and I advise anyone against it, because there are so many places to eat in Palermo, and the warm welcome that the world envies us was certainly unknown to these people. Besides, we're not talking about a little place with tables in the middle of the street, but a place that should be of a certain level (obviously only aesthetically), given the prices and the limited selection of wines by the glass and beers.

10/11/2025: The chicken was delicious; I've never had it so juicy. I recommend it to everyone. 🤩 As for the kebab, it's okay, nothing more, but if you're craving it, don't hesitate. It's a typical fast food place.

26/10/2025: Dinner with colleagues. Delicious kebab, so-so fries, very dry and tough pork shank; I wouldn't recommend it. Cold grilled vegetables. No table service, a real bummer. And finally, I was blown away by the restrooms; avoid them anyway.

01/10/2025: I stayed at this campsite and had a wonderful time! The prefabricated cabins are truly charming, meticulously designed and equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. A welcoming and functional environment, perfect for both a short stay and a longer vacation. The staff was extremely kind and always available, ready to meet every need with a smile. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation, comfort, and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

09/11/2025: I stopped in for a quick croissant and coffee. I must say the atmosphere was pleasant, with a cozy indoor area for a quiet chat and excellent coffee products, along with a deli. Good coffee and friendly staff. I recommend it.

06/11/2025: A historic and traditional Palermo pizzeria, open since 1982, run by Ron Garofalo, a histrionic figure in the industry, who has never changed his Neapolitan-Sicilian pizza. Spacious, sparsely furnished rooms, including outdoor seating for the summer season. One of the few pizzerias that has maintained moderate prices while maintaining good quality ingredients, including a dedicated section for celiacs. An evening of neither praise nor infamy, a table for 20, various pizzas, all traditional and simple, with buffalo mozzarella, a hot appetizer per person, water, Moretti beer, and a can of Coca-Cola. Friendly, helpful service, represented by a very sweet young woman. A few glitches ruined the whole experience. The meager supply of buffalo mozzarella, which ran out quickly, two pizzas with dough textures the guests didn't like, even though they specified it when ordering, which were obviously sent back and remade, and the most serious problem was the "fortuitous omission" of the 30% The Fork discount. Everything was resolved, with the owner's kind forethought, and a personalised bill of 15 euros.

04/03/2026: Very nice place, with very friendly staff and good coffee. I only stopped for breakfast, but it was a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, they had run out of plant-based milk options, so I couldn't get a cappuccino, but these things happen.

15/02/2026: Nice, welcoming place, good food, excellent service. I had dinner and listened to good music, both live and DJ. I recommend it.

01/01/2026: Lunch, January 1, 2026 Godiva has an excellent reputation for its creative food and flavorful dishes. Compagnia della Vela with Catering, Godiva Restaurant, confirms the excellent lunch, expertly executed by the staff. The appetizers were excellent, with excellent presentation and flavor, and the arancina and mussels were sublime. First courses: Rice flan with a pea and shrimp sauce was excellent. Ravioli with swordfish roe and clams were excellent. Perfectly cooked. Despite the crowds. The main course was equally delicious. To end the lunch, an excellent cheesecake. Congratulations, until next time.

10/03/2026: An absolute must to visit if you're staying in the area and want to experience the most genuine hospitality and freshest fish cuisine. The waiter was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to give us the best possible dining experience. The Pizza's here are very generously covered with all the best toppings and the pasta's are delicious too! No wonder the whole place was full of locals enjoying a meal. It's a real bummer we only were able to eat here twice because of our short stay. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely come back! Thanks for making our stay in Aspra unforgettable!

24/02/2026: Very slow service, the dishes were skimpy, while others were served generous amounts. Pasta with sea urchins was almost more oil than sauce. Desserts were flavorless. Finally, the price was steep; it felt like we'd dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Honestly, we were disappointed and won't be back. It's a shame we didn't read the negative reviews first; they matter a lot.

02/03/2026: We entered the restaurant for a simple toasted sandwich. While we waited, the child had sat at one of the tables, but we were immediately asked to let him stand up because they were setting the table. When I asked if he could eat at the table, the owner replied that we would have to pay a cover charge, even if it was just a toasted sandwich. Leaving aside the fact that, after spending €6.50 for a toasted sandwich and four fries, they could have allowed a child to eat there without causing any problems, especially considering it was still 5:00 PM and the restaurant was empty, the thing that bothered me most was the fact that they made him stand up even though it was only for a few minutes. The owner also answered my questions in an unpleasant tone. A little kindness and flexibility wouldn't hurt. We won't be returning.

05/02/2026: I took glovo from Marco's, must say pizza was amazing! Delicious juicy with tomatoes a lot of aromatic fragrances, everything was fresh. That was my little dream to try italian pizza, glad I took it from here, wasn't dissapointed. Good choice👌🏻

02/01/2026: We dined at this restaurant two nights in a row. Everything was excellent. Ask chef Cristian for advice and you won't go wrong. His pasta with sea urchins.... Top!!!! And what about the octopus and mussels.... we'll definitely be back!
