12/07/2026: We only ordered a quick first course, but both were excellent. We would have liked a dessert as well, but the selection wasn't extensive.

10/07/2026: Beautiful place, excellent food, and attentive, friendly, and polite staff. I had booked well in advance, asking for a table overlooking the sea, and they had given me availability when I made the reservation. Unfortunately, once I arrived, it wasn't possible to assign me one. I asked the waiter for information, but he explained that there were no alternatives. I don't like to insist, so I accepted the table assigned to me, located in the entrance area. It was a nice table, but I had made that request for a specific reason, and I wish it had been honored. I didn't try the pizza, but seeing it being delivered to the neighboring tables, I have to say it looked truly inviting. I will definitely be back to try it, and this time, I will ask for 100% confirmation of the seafront table when I make the reservation. 5 🌟 the same ☺️

14/08/2026: We ordered swordfish, octopus, 2 salads and a bottle of wine. This fish was dry, the octopus rubbery and served without any condiment such as oil or lemon. Despite asking the waiter, our salads never arrived. The bottle of wine was good. Terrible service, not even an apology for forgetting the salads. I definitely would not recommend this place to eat. Bill 70 euros - too expensive!

09/08/2026: I recommend this restaurant, the food is really good, the prices are moderate, maybe a bit cheaper in the city center, but here it's really tasty ☺️

17/06/2026: Italian restaurant on a narrow street in Palermo. I shared a pizza and an extralarge Moretti beer with my husband. The dough on this pizza was nothing like what I have had in other restaurants in Sicily or anywhere else in Italy. It had an extremely thin crust and I think it was made from frozen dough and not made by them. The taste of the pizza was not bad. We also had the chocolate tartufo which was good. We ate at a table on the street. I saw that the inside was very nice.

25/06/2026: I paid €3.50 for a cappuccino. Honestly, it's a shameful price for a simple cappuccino, which doesn't even begin to reflect how much I consumed. Furthermore, no receipt was issued.

07/10/2025: Had a wonderful experience dining at Caponata. Dined on some absolutely delicious pizza and wine, by recommendation of a server at a near by wine bar. The service was absolutely wonderful, with staff members Valentina and Hamim being so kind and patient while I practiced my Italiano. Will absolutely be back next time I'm in Polarmo. Grazie Mille Caponata!

09/08/2026: Bad experience, menu price different from the final bill, with significant increases, very long wait, decent food but small quantity, especially not enough fish in the pasta. Unprofessional and unfriendly staff. I wouldn't go back.

18/08/2026: Today we ordered a seafood salad and fried calamari. The salad consisted of a few tiny pieces of octopus, chopped very small, and the fried calamari was brought to me burnt and reheated, I think, in the microwave. It felt like rubber in my mouth. Absolutely avoid it.

16/08/2026: The pasta was delicious, we had linguine with red mullet and one with Mazzara red prawns and cherry tomatoes, truly excellent ♥️

17/08/2026: Perfect stay. We stayed at the Antico Baglio and had a flawless experience: well-maintained property, spotlessly clean, quiet, and welcoming room. The location is ideal for exploring Castelbuono on foot. The owners are kind and professional. We will definitely be back.

14/08/2026: Excellent, central location, easy to get to everywhere. Natale and Maria Rosaria are always available and very kind, and the cleanliness is impeccable down to the smallest detail. I highly recommend it, it's a truly peaceful place.

15/08/2026: The wait staff was kind but unprofessional. The waiter was rude and inattentive to the customer's needs, as the air conditioning wasn't working in one part of the room, and he justified his actions by saying it was 40 degrees outside. We politely asked for a solution to the problem and received presumptuous and pretentious answers. It's a shame, the food was mediocre, but for the price, we couldn't expect fresh, quality fish. Unfortunately, the overall experience was not very enjoyable due to the extreme heat in the room. This experience will never make me return, primarily because of the lack of empathy and kindness toward the customer.

02/10/2025: A very beautiful place on the sea, with ample and convenient parking with access from the main road. The food and wines are quality, though the desserts, I'd say, are less so. We returned after three days.

24/09/2025: A charming place to visit, especially in summer to enjoy the view. The first courses, the desserts, are good, but the selection is limited, and the semifreddo and almond parfait are very icy. The selection of bitters is very limited (only two).

25/06/2026: We had an excellent pizza in a very characteristic setting. We'd been there before for dinner, which featured local dishes, and everything was very good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

03/08/2026: Unfortunately, our experience wasn't a positive one. The pasta was definitely overcooked, and the fried calamari was very tough, making it difficult to eat. The service was courteous, but the quality of the food didn't meet our expectations. I hope it was just an unfortunate evening and that the restaurant can improve these aspects.

16/04/2026: Hotel Review – Location right in the heart of the Ballarò Market, Palermo *Good* - *Cleanliness*: Both rooms were impeccably clean. Full marks. - *Restaurant*: Outstanding, truly Michelin-star quality. Service, friendliness, team – everything was extremely courteous, charming, and service-oriented. Every dish we tried was flawless in both taste and presentation. The restaurant alone is worth a visit. - *Bed in Room 1*: Large and very comfortable. - *Room 1 Amenities*: Two bathrooms with toilets and showers, plus a freestanding bathtub in the bedroom, and two TVs. - *Service during room exchange and check-out*: Very friendly and competent staff member. Extremely helpful. - *Luggage storage*: Luggage storage was offered while waiting for the room to be ready. - *Size of Room 2*: Spacious. - *For my needs*: It was perfectly adequate for my needs. I'm very easygoing about this. *Bad* - *Location*: Right next to the Ballarò Market. Extremely loud and dirty. Construction sites everywhere, jackhammers all day long. No vacation atmosphere whatsoever. The views from the rooms are nothing but renovations and construction noise. - *Noise in Room 1*: Located directly in the courtyard. Restaurant patrons sit just 1 meter from the room door. A compressor behind the bed kept switching on all night – as loud as an air compressor next to your pillow. Sleep was impossible. - *Technology in Room 1*: Flickering lights, probably 20 different switches, transformer noises, until eventually nothing worked at all. - *Smell in Room 1*: It smelled musty. We had to empty the dehumidifier in the room three times in one night. - *Building Condition in Room 1*: Questionable. - *Room 2*: Extremely small bathroom, no bathtub. Dirty balcony. A less expensive room category below the suite would have even included a whirlpool, which we had actually expected with the suite. - *Check-in service*: The employee seemed arrogant, lacked charisma, no smile, and was neither charming nor service-oriented. No explanation was given about the room. The concierge did not offer the woman assistance with her luggage. There was also no greeting in the restaurant in the evening. - *Value for money*: €774.85 for 3 nights in a 4-star hotel. For that price, we had construction noise, technical problems, and a musty smell on the first night.

14/04/2026: A lovely and very quiet hotel right in the city center. We had a simply furnished room and the breakfast was adequate. The building itself is very nice and the staff was friendly. Great location.
