26/10/2025: It's located in the center of Palermo, yet in a quiet corner, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist spots. The piazza is very elegant. You can enjoy a good breakfast, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly. A place that's also popular with locals.

I didn't have time to photograph the Genoese tuna meatballs!!! They were gone before the lens could click!!! 😋😋 (I don't like tuna, but these.... are a real delight!!!) Well done and thank you

10/03/2026: An absolute must to visit if you're staying in the area and want to experience the most genuine hospitality and freshest fish cuisine. The waiter was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to give us the best possible dining experience. The Pizza's here are very generously covered with all the best toppings and the pasta's are delicious too! No wonder the whole place was full of locals enjoying a meal. It's a real bummer we only were able to eat here twice because of our short stay. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely come back! Thanks for making our stay in Aspra unforgettable!

24/02/2026: Very slow service, the dishes were skimpy, while others were served generous amounts. Pasta with sea urchins was almost more oil than sauce. Desserts were flavorless. Finally, the price was steep; it felt like we'd dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Honestly, we were disappointed and won't be back. It's a shame we didn't read the negative reviews first; they matter a lot.

02/10/2025: A very beautiful place on the sea, with ample and convenient parking with access from the main road. The food and wines are quality, though the desserts, I'd say, are less so. We returned after three days.

24/09/2025: A charming place to visit, especially in summer to enjoy the view. The first courses, the desserts, are good, but the selection is limited, and the semifreddo and almond parfait are very icy. The selection of bitters is very limited (only two).

09/11/2025: I stopped in for a quick croissant and coffee. I must say the atmosphere was pleasant, with a cozy indoor area for a quiet chat and excellent coffee products, along with a deli. Good coffee and friendly staff. I recommend it.

06/11/2025: A historic and traditional Palermo pizzeria, open since 1982, run by Ron Garofalo, a histrionic figure in the industry, who has never changed his Neapolitan-Sicilian pizza. Spacious, sparsely furnished rooms, including outdoor seating for the summer season. One of the few pizzerias that has maintained moderate prices while maintaining good quality ingredients, including a dedicated section for celiacs. An evening of neither praise nor infamy, a table for 20, various pizzas, all traditional and simple, with buffalo mozzarella, a hot appetizer per person, water, Moretti beer, and a can of Coca-Cola. Friendly, helpful service, represented by a very sweet young woman. A few glitches ruined the whole experience. The meager supply of buffalo mozzarella, which ran out quickly, two pizzas with dough textures the guests didn't like, even though they specified it when ordering, which were obviously sent back and remade, and the most serious problem was the "fortuitous omission" of the 30% The Fork discount. Everything was resolved, with the owner's kind forethought, and a personalised bill of 15 euros.

07/11/2025: Delicious coffee, insanely good cornetti al pistacchio. Cool local atmosphere, close to the Catacombs. Very friendly service 👌🏻

16/09/2025: Good spot with a great price:quality ratio. Redommended to get a quick bite such as a brioche or granita.

27/12/2025: Best pasta with vingole or sea urchin (riccio di mare), so tasty! Service are authentic and honest, good prizes. Kids also loved their own pasta format

18/02/2026: The waitress had a really good english and the food came very quickly even when we came in like 30 minutes before closing, the food was also amazing, the waitress also let more people in even when it was closed, to sum up everything was great i highly recommend it.

22/12/2025: A simple little restaurant, but that doesn't mean it's not good quality. The menu is limited, but it has everything to satisfy those who want good food. I had the mussel soup with a very good, not too heavy sauce. The squid was also good, cooked properly and flavorful. Prices are reasonable, not expensive. The atmosphere is clean, and the service is friendly.

21/12/2025: Chitarra costa di Mongerbino was my favorite pasta. Good pasta, nice place, friendly people!

04/03/2026: The food was very good, the restaurant and the atmosphere were bright and welcoming, but the service was quite the opposite. We immediately felt unwelcome. There was no smile when we ordered or when we were served. After our meal, the staff even subtly made us feel like we should leave as quickly as possible to clear the table. Unfortunately, this ruined our entire evening 😩 There's definitely room for improvement in how they treat their guests.

04/03/2026: The food was okay – the price for Palermo: well... But the absolute worst thing here is the entire service: we came from the hotel across the street and were looking forward to a nice evening, but we were treated so terribly – we're just surprised they let us in at all... all the Italians who came were treated more kindly than us... If a restaurant like this were run in Germany, with such rudeness, it would be shut down immediately... absolutely awful... we would never come back here... I much prefer some of the street food places here: incredibly friendly service... but never again to Tondo.

05/01/2026: Today I ate lunch at this restaurant. The waiters were very kind, but I didn't really enjoy the lunch. I came here on Easter Monday and ate a lot, everything was delicious. However, today there were very few people and everything was a disappointment. I'm sorry, I didn't like the food. I don't know what to say. It was Easter Monday like last year, the exact same menu, paid a little more because it was a holiday, same time but different table, and I can vouch for that. We were the exact same people. On day 4, my sister was there, plus, I repeat, I ate badly. Apart from the rice and the appetizer, I didn't order anything else.
