Porta Terra Ristorante In Cefalù

We ate quite early for Italy and the waiter spent lots of time with us talking about where all the ingredients came from. They try to use local meat and fish. We also discussed the wine and decided to try the Etna red. It wasn't really to our taste though. The food was first class, imaginative and beautifully cooked and presented and so justified the price we thought. A place for a special occasion.

The best coffee in the city, there is vegetarian milk.

Stopped for an Aperol spritz. No one seemed interested in serving our table and in fact people at 2 nearby tables walked off before being served. When we finally attracted a waiter’s attention the Aperol was excellent and the location and view were amazing so we didn’t mind spending an extra 20 minutes soaking up the atmosphere.

You're not in Cefalù if you don't sit at Porta Terra to drink a coffee in the morning and have a snack with granita and brioche... and the rest disappears

A great restaurant with a lovely terrace and dining room, pleasant and attentive service. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. My only slight complaint is the individually wrapped Parmesan; I would have preferred natural Parmesan. Overall, a very good restaurant that I highly recommend.

We booked a post-theater dinner at this charming restaurant in the historic center on TheFork. The service was extremely courteous; we were even served a bottle of extra virgin olive oil with a different aroma, which we enjoyed on our bread (which I received in a gluten-free version, which I greatly appreciated). The dishes we ordered did not disappoint in the slightest: whether seafood or meat, we could definitely taste the quality, both in the cockerel my girlfriend ordered and in my octopus on mashed potatoes. If I really had to make a comment, I wouldn't go overboard with the capers (I think they were those) in the latter, because the very strong flavor risks overpowering the flavor of the octopus. In my case, it didn't, but it's always better to be safe than sorry. Highly recommended!

The restaurant consists of two parts, facing each other. One is a café. Delicious coffee. The other is a bar serving traditional food. Empty. No customers. Polite and friendly service. Great location. 400 meters from the train station. Beautiful views.

My husband and I came here for the Immaculate Conception long weekend, and even though it was a chilly evening, we sat outside. The warmth and friendliness of the maître d' Antonio (I think that's his name) immediately put us at ease and warmed us up. He brought us an excellent aperitivo, where the homemade arancini were a real treat, and the cocktails we ordered were truly delicious and well-balanced. It's one of the places we'll definitely return to when I return to Cefalù. I highly recommend it!
