04/05/2026: This is a spot where the locals come to eat, so booking a table in advance is a must as the place is packed every night. The service is pleasant and efficient, and the staff speaks both English and French, which made communication very easy and comfortable for us. The restaurant is well-maintained and clean, from the cutlery and glasses to the restrooms. For starters, we ordered the meat and cheese platter. The slicing was thin and precise, the flavors were diverse, and the cheeses were rich and high quality an excellent choice to start the meal. For our main course, we had two pizzas. The Boscaiola, with mozzarella, porcini mushrooms, and prosciutto, to which I added pistachio pesto for an extra 3 Euro (a bit pricey, but a tasty upgrade), and the Regina with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto. The pizzas were outstanding and beautifully prepared, with a slightly soft center in the best way possible. This is a highly recommended restaurant if you’re looking for amazing food. Be prepared for an authentic vibe with a simple, modern design rather than a "fancy" atmosphere just come for the incredible food.

15/02/2026: My boyfriend and I often go with friends, some of whom have children, and I have to say we always have a pleasant evening. The pizzeria is a little outside of Cefalù's historic center, making it easily accessible by car. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. The pizza never disappoints, highly recommended!

06/06/2026: Second time I have been and both times really delicious food and great value for money. Had the fried cheese with honey, hummus and the chicken souvlaki all fantastic flavor 10/10 and generous portions - would recommend and will be back if I am in Palermo

01/05/2026: We arrived in Palermo last night and headed out for a late lunch today. We didn’t know that today is a holiday in Italy and many things are closed. Thankfully this lovely little restaurant was open and they stayed open late for us too. I had yummy meatballs in a tomato sauce, and my husband had a special pasta of the day with an anchovy sauce. Both dishes were a 10/10, as well as the tiramisu we shared for dessert. The owners were super kind and accommodating. We’ll go back for a second time.

20/06/2026: We had a lovely evening meal with great service and a beautiful roof top views. We booked that morning at the reception downstairs and were welcomed by the very professional concierge and maitre D. After some complimentary amouse bouche our meals were lovely and well prepared. The Maitre D, Sergio was in point. Polite and efficient and helpful. We finished with a local cheese board and some excellent Sicilian wines.

18/07/2026: Congratulations on everything! Exceptional location, well-organized and welcoming, the staff 🔝 were super helpful and fast, even though the place was packed and full of events! The food was excellent, not to mention the excellent and varied appetizers 😋 We had a blast during the evening, thanks also to a great DJ. In short, it was truly a wonderful evening, we will definitely be back.

21/07/2026: Torre Alta was, without a doubt, the best restaurant of our entire vacation in Italy. We ate at many wonderful places in Rome, Venice, and Palermo, but honestly, no one even came close. From the incredible quality of the food to the beautiful atmosphere and outstanding service, everything was absolutely perfect. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and made with true passion. Torre Alta gave us more than just a great meal it gave us one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. This restaurant is truly special, and we cannot recommend it enough. If you are in the area, do not miss it! Simply the best. Five stars are not enough!

The owner's helpfulness in explaining the menu and the dishes' characteristics is admirable and demonstrates expertise and great professionalism. You're immediately able to choose what to eat. The skill of the chefs does the rest. The wine list is extensive, as are the beers, liqueurs, and other spirits. The wait staff is always smiling and ready to satisfy your needs.

27/06/2026: Left extremely disappointed honestly. The food was ok, nothing special at all. We got the lobster fettuccine — barely any lobster meat in there. The pistachio shrimp pesto sounds better than it actually is, also barely any shrimp. The tiramisu was straight up inedible. I hate food waste but we had to leave it. The ladyfingers were hard, and it did not taste right. It felt like they just threw it all on a plate and gave it to us. Which I am convinced is what actually happened because we waited 40 minutes for it and only got it after saying we would rather cancel that order. There seems to be only one competent person in the entire restaurant. We had to ask for the same thing multiple times and only one of the servers was of any real help. That poor man was running around making sure everyone was taken care of while taking orders from all the other employees. I went to pay and asked for an itemized bill because I was waiting for another thing to go wrong and it did. Could only get the receipt after I paid to realize we got charged twice for the dreadful tiramisu. I got the difference in coins. Truthfully, if it had been any other place I would’ve left it as a tip. The one useful server apologized multiple times and was a gem. I hope he finds a new place to work.

17/06/2026: Italian restaurant on a narrow street in Palermo. I shared a pizza and an extralarge Moretti beer with my husband. The dough on this pizza was nothing like what I have had in other restaurants in Sicily or anywhere else in Italy. It had an extremely thin crust and I think it was made from frozen dough and not made by them. The taste of the pizza was not bad. We also had the chocolate tartufo which was good. We ate at a table on the street. I saw that the inside was very nice.
