05/12/2024: Dishes, those that are available, are average... I may have chosen the wrong day but both the starter and the first course were not available. And when it comes to desserts, nothing fresh. The alternative dishes are still good

28/03/2025: The menu is pretty "for everyone", apart from "posh" seekers. Very tasty food for affordable prices - finally NOT a tourist trap. Very friendly and nice waitress, good service 🤌👍👍👍 all this - right in the center of Catania. We were here twice. 👏

13/03/2025: The food was very tasty, we ate starters, pasta bolognese and fried squid. The daughter does a great job, unfortunately the mother no longer pays attention to the quality of service.

28/03/2025: Don't be seduced by the cozy appearance, the food is really, really bad. I never write a review but now there is no other way. The risotto could not be called real risotto. Plain hard rice in a little broth, cold and salt-free. The pistachio pasta was also cold and saltless. Afterwards we went to Pizza & Pasta (nearby) and the pasta there was delicious!

28/03/2025: I don’t normally leave reviews but our experience was so bad I felt I need to do it this time. The food was horrible. My girlfriend ordered a risotto fungi and I ordered a pasta farfalle with pistachio. Both dishes lacked taste, had little to no salt, and were not completely warm (like a dish warmed up in a microwave with pieces steaming but still cold at its core). The risotto was not creamy at all, and the rice used seemed like regular rice instead of the one used for risottos. Very frustrating. The waiters were nothing special. Not rude but also not friendly. They serve a portion of bread as couvert but nothing to eat it with (a bit of olive oil would be nice). We had some potato croquets as appetisers and once again no sauce to go with it (only boring and dry croquettes). The location and place look nice and of not for that we would have probably eaten somewhere else. We actually did that anyway after leaving the restaurant because we had to eat something good before going home. In short, I can’t recommend it less and would not come back again.

24/02/2025: Fantastic lunch in a very beautiful place in the sun. You have to be patient, but then you eat the tastiest marinara pasta ever. A very tasty lemon sorbet. Good price-quality ratio. We would love to come back!

12/02/2025: Verre en carton , quantités dans les assiettes réduites, tarifs injustifié , toilettes délabrées et ne ferment pas , aucun coquillage cru , alors que le marché aux poissons touche la terrasse , personnel froid , se fiche totalement des problèmes, je déconseille fortement ce restaurant .

08/02/2025: Pessimo. Carciofi fritti belli da vedere ma immangiabili. Fritti di calmari gommosi e porzioni scarsissime. Pasta cozze e gamberi appena commestibile. Da evitare assolutamente

Stunning location, it should always be full of customers instead it is always empty because it is very poorly managed, dirty, very poorly maintained and the quality is really poor. We sat down for two coffees, I repeat coffee (also poor) and they charged us 1 euro per person for the cover charge but covered for what??? Maybe you increase the price of the coffee but not that you charge one euro per person for the cover charge! Never again, highly discouraged

05/03/2025: Caffè con una stupenda vista sul mare e rilassante mattinata. Personale disponibile e gentile con i turisti X una bella chiacchierata che ci ha permesso di meglio capire la Catania da un locale. Grazie ragazzi

29/12/2024: Un giorno prima decido di prenotare, non tanto dalle recensioni ma dai consigli dei miei colleghi di lavoro. Location accogliente , personale molto gentile e disponibile! 2 Antipasti buonissimi. Abbiamo preso 2 primi e una grigliata mista , invece mia figlia una cotoletta con patatine, un buon dolce si frutti di bosco.. Tutto veramente buono. I prezzi nella norma! Ritornerò senz’altro

24/11/2024: Complimenti ottima qualità, locale molto accogliente , veloci , preparati,e molto professionali. La carne buonissima accompagnata dalle segale che consiglio, si sentiva l'utilizzo di un ottimo olio. I camerieri molto disponibili ed educati ma soprattutto la cameriera Grazia per la sua accoglienza e il suo sorriso. Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie per la bella domenica!

Sono sincero, appena sono arrivato pensavo fosse una delle tante trappole per turisti, invece mi sono ricreduto molto, un locale che usa materie prime di ottima qualità e che cura il cliente, bagni super puliti e personale molto cortese, nella mia visita non ho trovato nessun difetto, CONSIGLIATO

17/10/2024: Heel grote porties maar verwacht geen hoogstaande kwaliteit, ikzelf ben flexitarier en heb hier maar 1 gerechtje kunnen eten en dat was de linzensoep, de rest is allemaal vlees, vlees, vlees. Voor een resto op Sicilië wel aan de duurdere kant maar daar profiteren ze wss mee aangezien ze het enigste resto zijn die hier ‘s avonds nog open zijn in het laagseizoen. Al veel lekkerder en goedkoper gegeten hier op Sicilië, ook niet heel vriendelijk, het moet allemaal vooruitgaan, geen tweede keer voor ons.

24/10/2024: Too expensive, we took a pizza with only sauce and frankfurters, a tray of frankfurters, a tray of chips, a bottled Coca-Cola for €18......, we're not there!

06/10/2024: In these times in which we all feel like Bruno Barbieri, I say in all sincerity that, if you go to a place where you perceive a purely family-run, humble management, which is based on a life made up of a lot of apprenticeship and great sacrifices, you may have to wait on a Saturday, and then if they don't serve you the bread with the salad straight away, and they come to you with the basket in trouble but with a great desire to work and keep the business going, what do you do? Take your hat off...

16/02/2025: Aunque comimos solo un pequeño almuerzo en este restaurante, nos quedamos muy impresionados por la calidad de la cocina. El plato antipasto de verduras mixtas incluía caponata, berenjena parmigiana, judías verdes, verde silvestre siciliano y papas amarillas asadas. La caponata estaba fuera de este mundo. Era un delicioso equilibrio de dulce, salado, agrio y cremoso. La berenjena parmigiana era celestial. Las otras verduras estaban bien preparadas. También teníamos la pasta Norma que era perfecto. El interior del restaurante fue recientemente renovado y ahora es muy hermoso. Recomendamos encarecidamente este establecimiento.

15/02/2025: Locale pulito, ben tovagliato che supera le aspettative di una trattoria, prezzi buoni, proprietario attento e cortese. La cucina potrebbe migliorare, nel modo di cucinare i piatti e nel presentarli.
