01/08/2025: Terrible experience. The tomato in the Margherita was poor. Making a good Margherita is the foundation. The only positive note was the waitress (not the owner), who was kind and cheerful. 21/12/2025: This restaurant is located at the beginning of the famous Caltagirone steps, and has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Service is prompt and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, especially the "La Scala" pasta, which we would have eaten again. The fries were hot and crispy, and the grilled meat was delicious. A great experience.

09/12/2025: We went for a company lunch! Everything was excellent! The place was welcoming and the set menu delicious! Italian appetizers (with special mention for the frittatina with peppers and caponata), two pasta dishes (one with walnut sauce and the other, the chef's signature, "la scala" with fennel and sausage), and dessert to finish! The service was impeccable, the staff were very kind and attentive! We will definitely visit you again! Thank you.

12/05/2026: Last night I ordered some sandwiches from home for home delivery, the lady was not only rude but also a liar. On a Monday evening you give me a maximum of 1 hour as a delivery time and they arrive and 2 and a half hours have passed for a damn sandwich, spatti I call us back and he tells me not to come back because we have to throw the sandwiches away honestly from 8pm when I called to eat until 11pm I'm almost completely right, you're too old for me to call you all the time you've lost your best customer, there's no shortage of sandwich shops👋

13/04/2026: This morning (1:04 PM), before going to work, I had the unpleasant idea of ​​using the bathroom at the bar on Corso delle Province, even buying a bottle of water out of politeness. I left the bathroom and a blonde lady, who I don't know who she was, came in to check. She came out and started accusing me, telling me that last time I (who have never set foot in this bar except to buy a tray of pastries) left the bathroom dirty with "poop on the walls," claiming she and her colleague recognized me by my curly hair and posture, adding that she checked because she was already ready to give me the rag so I could clean up. At the time, I was incredulous and didn't realize, much less say what I should and really wanted to say, but as the hours passed, I got seriously annoyed. How the hell do you dare accuse someone like this?? Especially not knowing for sure that it was NOT me. I don't know if he understood or believed that I had nothing to do with this whole story, but it doesn't matter because it was humiliating. What the heck is going on in your head? Before working with the public, learn general etiquette and good manners, instead of going around insinuating nonsense towards strangers. And the rag you would have given me in your own way to make me clean, use it to wipe your mouth.

The cellar corner is a nice idea, but you should do something to eliminate this unhealthy smell. (Didn't the local health authority say anything?) Otherwise, the decor is well-made and the staff is friendly.

05/06/2025: Ho pranzato due domeniche fa in questo buon ristorante situato nel centro della città, dietro la Via Etnea. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dalla qualità del cibo proposto e dal servizio veloce e cortese (dal momento che purtroppo avevo l'aereo a breve). Ho preso maccheroni alla norma, cotoletta e torta al limone. Il ristorante ha una ricca carta di pietanze sia di carne che di pesce. Mi sento di consigliarlo a chi viene in città, considerando che non è facile trovare nella zona ristoranti altrettanto buoni. Spero io stesso di tornarci presto.

04/06/2026: Before giving it 1 star, I went to this place twice. A small beachfront bar, the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cold drink in a beautiful location. It's a shame that both times the drinks from the kiosk (e.g., lemon and salt seltzer) were warm with an aftertaste of tap water (obviously tasteless). They didn't do anything to fix it. Don't sell drinks you don't know how to make or manage. We left the drinks whole; we just wet our lips. When we went to the register to pay, I reported the problem (in fact, we'll tell you what happened), a girl replied that it was normal for them to be warm, and the lady was ready to charge the unconsumed drinks at the register. 1 star for the management, problem solving, and indifference to constructive criticism (twice).

06/06/2026: I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. We arrived at 9:30 and the pizzas arrived at 11:20 PM. 2 hours of waiting. Do not eat here because the wait is really long. We called the waiter several times to ask for information, and the answer was always "they're preparing" when that wasn't the case. Initially, they told us it would take half an hour, but that wasn't the case. We ordered a pizza without chili pepper, but they added it anyway. Pay attention to these details, which are very important and can cause harm to people. I will never return to this restaurant.

19/07/2026: Avoid at all costs! Over a 40-minute wait for a place with few customers. I ordered two Cokes, priced at €2.50, but my order ended up costing €3.50. When I asked, they showed me a different menu than the one I'd been given. Then I ordered risotto, which had a bitter aftertaste. So, I paid €38 for two people for food that wasn't even good, and they charged a €5 cover charge, whereas every other restaurant I've been to only charged €3.
