07/12/2025: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review due to the behavior of one of the waitresses. Even though we had a reservation, she told us there were no tables available; fortunately, other staff members intervened immediately and seated us without any problems. Throughout the evening, the waitress continued to look at us unprofessionally, never served us, and spent her time on her phone among the tables, paying no attention to the customers. Furthermore, to avoid walking near the tables, she even went down the outside stairs, completely avoiding the dining room: truly disrespectful behavior. It's a shame, because the other waiters were truly kind, friendly, and helpful, but her attitude ruined the atmosphere. I'm sorry the owner is perhaps unaware of these situations, because the rest of the staff deserves to be recognized.

26/10/2025: New excellent pizza, beautiful, off-menu, with bruschetta cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, ham, tuna, onion, arugula, mushrooms, eggs, and parmesan. Pizza THE KING 👑 Beautiful place, modern, very good staff, fast. Clean

18/02/2026: We ordered pasta with white pesto and mussels and pasta with sardines a la Palermo – definitely some of the best things we ate in Catania. The location, right on the main square but slightly hidden, gives it a great Sicilian vibe. The older gentleman who served us didn't rush – which also gives it the perfect Sicilian feel, where you can sit, chat, and eat in peace. I highly recommend it.

09/03/2026: Enchanting location, breathtaking scenery... We had a wonderful lunch, the food was good and well-cooked, nothing to complain about. As for the prices, unfortunately, everything costs money these days, we're on Mount Etna...when you go to a restaurant, you pay, and the prices are on the menu, after all. Recommended

02/03/2026: Rudeness and bad manners are paramount! One of the two ladies working the counter was shouting at customers and responding in a rude and impolite manner. I asked if the sausage in the sandwich I'd ordered could be cooked thoroughly, and she replied, "You take what's there!" (A hard, dry sandwich that doesn't even begin to justify the price). As I was leaving, annoyed, I was stopped by another customer who had been treated the same way by the lady simply because she'd requested that an €8 spritz be served in a cocktail glass and not a PLASTIC WATER GLASS filled with ice (it was the small glass). The bathroom was disgusting, filthy as hell—I recommend the public one (it costs €1 but is worth it). My only negative experience during my Etna holiday. Advice to the venue: I understand that the season is difficult and that it's equally difficult to keep up with demanding skiers who don't want to waste time, but if you work with the public, you can't afford to treat those who keep the venue open (the paying customers who use the services) this way.

10/07/2025: Questo locale si conferma su livelli di ottima qualità! Decisamente buone le granite, ottima la rosticceria! Personale molto cortese e rapido! Il tutto contornato dalla posizione sul lungo mare scogliera della città! Decisamente un posto ideale, per incontrarsi con amici e trascorrere un po' di tempo insieme, gustando roba di qualità.

25/02/2026: The food was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. I had the fish and it was incredibly fresh. The service was quick and impeccable, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the renovated location was beautiful. I personally couldn't find any flaws and highly recommend it.

16/10/2025: Great traditional Sicilian / Italian food with emphasis on seafood. Pizzas only on Saturday and Sunday. Easy access and parking out front.

05/06/2025: Ho pranzato due domeniche fa in questo buon ristorante situato nel centro della città, dietro la Via Etnea. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto dalla qualità del cibo proposto e dal servizio veloce e cortese (dal momento che purtroppo avevo l'aereo a breve). Ho preso maccheroni alla norma, cotoletta e torta al limone. Il ristorante ha una ricca carta di pietanze sia di carne che di pesce. Mi sento di consigliarlo a chi viene in città, considerando che non è facile trovare nella zona ristoranti altrettanto buoni. Spero io stesso di tornarci presto.

28/02/2026: The pizza wasn't the best in my opinion, but everything else was good!

28/02/2026: Horse meatballs were completely raw, and the second one arrived extremely raw as well. When it came time to pay our change, €32 was missing. I went back to the cashier and the lady at the counter replied in a firm, slightly joking tone, "Yes, I noticed, but you were gone." A terrible experience.

12/11/2025: Terrible Service and a Complete Joke Our visit to this bar was a complete disappointment. The service was terrible — the staff were rude, unfriendly, and obviously lazy. The waiter couldn’t even make a proper Aperol Spritz, yet charged as if it were a real cocktail. When we asked him to fix it, he reacted with irritation and zero professionalism. No apology, no respect for the customer — just arrogance. The whole experience felt like a mockery of hospitality. Honestly, it’s embarrassing that they call this a bar. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

27/09/2025: We're having dinner at the restaurant. The menu says spaghetti carbonara. Okay, I'll order it. I ask several times if they make it a little bigger, and the waitress says okay. The plate arrives, along with a small baking dish, while I complain that the carbonara arrives cold. I'll let you imagine. Then, when I get home, I see the receipt. I see it written down. €26.00. I phone. At the restaurant. They tell me their policy is so big and it means two portions, and I'm in the business. I'm ashamed that I belong to this category. Restaurants used to exist today. No longer just a pursuit of the god of money.

11/08/2025: Il ristorante era molto accogliente. I nostri primi erano molto buoni. I secondi anch'essi buoni. I dolci buonissimi, in particolare la crema al pistacchio.

06/08/2025: The location is unquestionably nice, Etna surroundings are amazing. The restaurant itself is nice and a kind of minimalist. Food is excellent and the local beers are very intriguing. Service is punctual and prices are more than acceptable.

14/03/2026: The lady forgot about us. We waited over an hour for our pizza. The Margherita pizza from the "offer" was a bit small and burnt on the bottom. I don't recommend it.

12/03/2026: We were a group of four. Three of us agreed that the pizzas we ordered were not authentic and tasty. We have been in too many pizzerias before and we expect a high level of authentic Italian pizza. Not impressed at all. Service was some kind of neglected. The better option was to go to L’antica pizzeria da Michele again a few blocks away.

08/03/2026: Karaoke restaurant. Good atmosphere. Very welcoming. Great food.

08/11/2025: EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE. HORRIBLE SERVICE. WE ORDERED AFTER 1 HOUR. PIZZAS ARRIVED AFTER 2 HOURS. REALLY BAD. FOOD NOT THE BEST, WRONG ORDER. EVERYTHING REALLY BAD. NOT RECOMMENDED.
