02/04/2025: Centraal gelegen restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening en zeer betaalbare gerechten en wijnen. We waren aanvankelijk de enige gasten in het restaurant en vonden het een beetje fris. Direct werd er een heater aangezet. Top gastvriendelijkheid. Pasta norma, het kalfsvlees en de nagerechten waren prima op smaak. Bij het nagerecht kregen we een glaasje dessertwijn van het huis aangeboden. Heerlijke avond gehad.

03/01/2025: Ristorante a conduzione familiare esemplare. Abbiamo prenotato il giorno precedente a capodanno e ci hanno comunque accolto, menù fisso di pesce semplice ma curato nei dettagli e fatto con amore. Complimenti al giovane chef che ha dimostrato di avere occhio e di essere attento al timing fondamentale la notte di capodanno. Complimenti a tutta la famiglia che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. A presto!

13/04/2025: Luogo accogliente, ottimo servizio e cibo abbondante e squisito. Una porzione di antipasto ripartita in tre e con grande soddisfazione, anche il riso con pesce persico molto abbondante e buonissimo. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono.

11/05/2025: Not to recommend, there are loads of good places where to eat better spending way less in Catania. It is probably oriented to tourists. As a local I really didn’t appreciate it. When a “sommelier” tells you that he doesn’t sell bottles under 24€ … while he’s working in place that sells mostly meatballs… it sounds already funny. Also the bottle he brought us was definitely overpriced for what it was. We ordered chicken meatballs, beef and vegetarian. The only ones acceptable were the chicken ones, while the vegetarian options was more a selection of croquettes (all breaded) and the beef meatballs didn’t taste good nor fresh at all. Not any kind of sides served with the meatballs and last but not least the bill was High, it’s not a good experience sorry.

02/06/2025: The quality of the food is not the best, I am referring to the fish dishes, the poor menu has little choice and for the price you are going to pay I strongly recommend not going to this restaurant.

28/05/2025: We spontaneously chose the restaurant after our city tour, which was outside of normal business hours in the afternoon, and the restaurant was still empty. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. We ordered Norma and San Daniela pizzas, as well as spaghetti Bolognese and a meat platter (sausage, ribs, and roast meat with a side dish) because vacation is nice, but "bratwurst is bratwurst" 😄 The pizza dough was very good, and both were cooked to perfection. The meat was super juicy and tender, and the spaghetti was just as delicious. The white wine paired perfectly with the pizzas. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised. We would recommend it 👍

09/06/2025: It's hard to give negative reviews, but unfortunately they are given to stimulate everyone to do their best, which is always possible. Good pizza, but little attention to service. Drinks in slices, maybe a tray. Almost everything warm, undrinkable beer that I would not have served or proposed if there had been problems with the beer system or the fridges, we point out and they are taken away and put in the fridge asking for a bottle that is also warm, response to our small complaint, they are not the fridge 🤔. At the end of the pizza they bring back the beers on tap, we expected a new tap instead....... undrinkable. We are offered a sweet pizza, appreciated that in our opinion implicitly proved us right, but it doesn't matter, in our opinion bad management. Our advice is to be careful, certain nonsense can and must be avoided considering the location and the proposal that are of a high level. Ours wants to be an incentive to do well and pay more attention.

10/05/2025: A big thank you to the lady behind the bar who served yesterday 9/5/2025. The lady was very nice and helpful, we wanted to buy drinks and food on the way from the beach but unfortunately we didn't notice the sign that they only take cash, so I only had one panini and the lady gave us 2, she saved our day. I hope that we will come back here with another vacation and we will be able to return it all. Thanks a thousand. The panini was great

01/05/2025: Lo si sceglie se si vuole la certezza di mangiare bene. Locale sempre carino, accogliente e molto molto pulito. La qualità della cucina è di prim’ordine, con piatti ricercati e mai banali, valorizzati dall’accostamento alla cucina locale, del buonissimo tartufo. Servizio e professionalità sempre ai massimi livelli.

16/04/2025: Huiselijk restaurant met heerlijk eten. Alles was perfect, de pasta, het vlees, de vis en de beste desserts. Aanrader voor wie in de buurt van de Etna verblijft.

09/05/2025: Posto molto accogliente, proprietari simpatici e gentili, ben posizionato in centro nella bellissima Nicolosi, porta dell’Etna. Abbiamo iniziato con una zuppa di fave fresche, finocchietto selvatico e ricotta salata, accompagnata da crostini di pane! Una delizia per il palato, abbiamo ritrovato sapori e profumi di una volta! Abbiamo poi continuato con una carrellata di delizie (polpettine di verdure di campo, di ricotta, di patate, melanzane, carciofi, cavolfiore affogato, …) . Potevamo infine rinunciare al dolce? Questa sera assaggi di due torte magnifiche e profitterol , il tutto annaffiato da due liquorini (ciliegia e carrube). Ovviamente buon vino locale per accompagnare il cibo! Una serata magnifica, da ripetere!!! Lo raccomando a chi vuole rigustare i sapori buoni e genuini di una volta.

05/06/2025: I will not return. I ask for a wine from the menu, they tell me there is none. Okay, it can happen. The mixed fish fry was good, but they served me the second course when I had not yet finished my plate. The restaurant was almost empty and therefore this attitude is not acceptable. A mixed grill quite sad, I notice that the prawns are not cleaned properly. Too bad because the location is priceless and with a little more attention you could make not only the unwary tourist happy, but also an auttoton... I hope you improve!

21/05/2025: I have been there several times for both lunch and dinner, and what can I say? The prices are really great and the food is top notch, from lunch to pizza. We have never been disappointed, great service, good staff, and the owner is very knowledgeable about the food. WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!
