01/09/2025: This is my second time visiting this place, although it's nice because it's located on the seafront. Last year, the pizza was inedible...now they've obviously changed the pizza chef...but the pizzas are very good, made with quality ingredients...rich... The only downside is the fried food, whether chips or mixed fries, everything is frozen, soggy, raw; in short, they're disgusting... They need to work a little harder...also because there's so much competition...

30/08/2025: We went today for a family lunch, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The appetizers were decent, but the fish-based first courses were a real flop: the spaghetti with lobster and mussels and clams tasted more like tomato than fish. They were grainy in the mouth due to the clams' soil, so much so that we had to opt for grilled pasta because the pasta was practically inedible. As for the fried fish, I have to admit it was quite good. It's a shame, because the location is very beautiful, but the service was rather poor, if it weren't for Niko, who was the only one who saved it.

19/08/2025: Beautiful place! The food is of very good quality. The starters are chosen by the establishment according to the season (about 6 appetizers). Then you can choose between one of the first two and for the second and dessert. The service is pleasant, courteous, fast and efficient. The place really has charm. We will come back. €48 for two.

16/08/2025: The food is unquestionably good. The portions aren't many, but that's acceptable for a 0km restaurant. We went because it was highly recommended; the portions were very limited, but really very limited. From the appetizer to the main course and the only dessert (chocolate salami), which were three measly slices, but delicious. A real shame.

01/09/2025: 98% private beach, 2% public. €10 for a lounge chair, €0.25 for water to remove the sand from your feet when you leave, €1 for a swim. The beach should be a public right for all, not a benefit for a few.

If you're celiac, it's better to show up without pretensions, frozen pizza, super poor appetizers, dessert at the end: forget it. But in the end you pay the same. 22/08/2025: The ice cream tastes like ice. Mine actually had frozen lumps. Plus, it's tasteless. The good reviews had attracted us, but it was no use. The place is a bit sad. The guys who served us were friendly, though.

22/08/2025: A dinner with friends cost as much as a mortgage payment. Each dish cost around €40, for four clams, one fasolara (a type of clam), one shrimp, and one scampi. Four appetizers and four main courses cost us almost €500. The service was slow and inattentive. We were never served the dishes we ordered. Prices that would be partially justified for a restaurant with a sea view, but this is on the ground floor of a building inland. I definitely won't be returning.

15/08/2025: At La Marea, we ate the freshest and most flavorful fish in all of Savelletri (and, in fact, during our entire stay in Puglia). All the ingredients used are top-quality, and the staff is highly trained, attentive, and extremely friendly. It's the perfect place if you're looking for an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. There's no comparison; definitely stop here if you're in the area and want one of the best fish meals of your life!

17/06/2025: This pizzeria is always a guarantee, I go there often and every time the pizza is delicious. This place has only one flaw: the spaces are sometimes really tight and the tables are often too close to each other to the point of having difficulty getting up from your table. Some difficulty finding parking.

30/08/2025: A disastrous experience... We stopped to eat the local specialty (orecchiette con le cime di rapa) because the menu looked reasonable. A quick welcome, no smiles, served in barely 5 minutes, the quantity left something to be desired, the pasta was overcooked and covered in oil, and the waiter was not professional at all: he sighed and became annoyed when he realized we weren't going to order wine or dessert... We were ejected like dirt: no thank you or goodbye. Luckily for them, their restaurant is well located in the old town! We left disappointed and with the feeling of having been trapped in a tourist trap. Clearly a place to avoid if you want to discover authentic Puglian cuisine...

29/08/2025: We went there last night after reading good reviews online. Nothing to complain about the location, except for a huge lizard that kept watch over us the entire evening! The waiter arrived and we began to order: he offered us a house appetizer, which actually included fennel, beetroot, half a tomato, eggplant in tomato sauce, two peppers, and two tiny pieces of primosale cheese (for €12). We chose two first courses, which we were told were homemade pasta, but were absolutely not: maritati con le rape (full of anchovies and very little beetroot) and ciciari e tria (tasting of burnt oil). For second courses, we opted for sausages (like Eurospin) with a side of fries, and lamb with potatoes (still in the cooking water and without even a drizzle of oil). Not to mention, the potatoes were disgusting just to look at. As if that weren't enough, we sent the lamb back—it was practically bones and sinews—without eating it, but the owner took offense at the criticism and ended up charging us for it anyway (total €74.50). Now I wonder: what are these people who write such positive reviews used to eating at home?

18/08/2025: I purchased this cake thinking it was a strawberry yogurt parfait/mousse, as described, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I specifically asked if they offered ice cream cakes and was told no. Instead, the cake turned out to be almost entirely ice cream, which I don't like and hadn't asked for. The base was a thin layer of sponge cake, while the entire top was made of frozen yogurt with a very light layer of strawberry gelatin and a hint of strawberry topping. Overall, the cake was very tasteless, poorly balanced, and definitely not what I expected. The lack of clarity in the product description and the final result made it an unsatisfactory purchase. I definitely won't be buying it again.

14/08/2025: Facula is undoubtedly a landmark in Gallipoli for dining in general. It's a bar, a pastry shop, a bakery serving baked goods, and a fast food restaurant. In other words, it's a bit of everything. This makes the place always very crowded and crowded, as it offers everything you could want in a restaurant. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it falls very short in terms of service and quality. You often find yourself using tables and chairs that are uncleaned, with leftovers from previous customers, and you have to call several times, or even chase after the overworked staff to have them cleaned, often in a superficial and inadequate manner. The staff is friendly but far from professional. Prices are generally higher than average.
