01/01/2026: We had lunch at Il Trullo del Conte and had a very positive experience. Being January 1st, the restaurant offered a set menu, featuring excellent, well-prepared dishes. Everything we tried was delicious. The final bill came to €40 per person, a reasonable price for the selection and quality of the food. Overall, we recommend this restaurant for its carefully crafted dishes and good value.

08/01/2026: I've been there a couple of times, the first time as a couple and the second time with friends, and overall the experience was positive, although not 100% perfect, so I'm giving it four stars. The restaurant is elegant and well-kept, with a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. During our visits, we dined outdoors, taking advantage of the summer, and I must say that the location and ambiance make for a truly enjoyable meal. The restaurant is suitable for both romantic dinners and gatherings with friends, thanks to its spacious and well-organized tables. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and attentive, ready to offer suggestions on the menu without being intrusive. As for the food, the menu offers a good balance: there are gourmet dishes, carefully prepared and presented, but also simpler options, suitable for those looking for something classic. Everything was tasty and of good quality, from the fresh pasta starters to the fish or meat main courses. The desserts deserve a special mention, truly excellent and well-executed. The prices are quite reasonable, considering the quality of the dishes and the elegant atmosphere; nothing excessive, but in line with the restaurant's caliber. The only small complaint is that, being a very refined restaurant, some gourmet dishes may seem slightly more expensive and overly elaborate than necessary, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. In short, Ai 2 Ghiottoni is an elegant and pleasant restaurant, with friendly staff, quality dishes, and excellent desserts. I recommend it for those seeking a refined but understated meal, perfect for both couples and small groups of friends. I will definitely return in the future.

31/12/2025: After hearing about my win at 4 Ristoranti, I decided to return to this restaurant, which I'd been away for several years and where I've always enjoyed it. The quality of the food has always been excellent. I must say I've had to change my mind. After all these years of absence, the quality and tastiness of the food have drastically declined. Not to mention the fact that I ordered, among other things, a sea bream, which I immediately realized wasn't caught. When I complained to the owner, I was told that only sea bream farmed in the San Vito sea arrive in Taranto, and the ones that are caught are those that escape from the farm's nets...

19/10/2025: If you love pizza with thin, crispy, and above all light crust, you've come to the right place. They offer a wide variety of choices, and the ingredients are excellent. The service is quick; even if you order an appetizer, they don't crowd you out by three or four tables like others do. The timing is perfect, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, as is the owner, who, in addition to being a pizza chef, is also very personable. Highly recommended.

16/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant in the winter, sitting indoors. Unfortunately, the space could use a major makeover: the decor is very dated, and the dingy windows obscured the view, making the atmosphere a bit gloomy. I imagine the outdoor summer experience would be on a whole different level. Regarding food, we started with a mix of appetizers: the tagliatelle were excellent, along with the mussels au gratin, the octopus meatballs, and the shrimp panzanella, as well as an off-menu option of scampi with salad. The ingredients were high-quality, even if the options weren't anything memorable. For our first course, we chose the Senatore Cappelli spaghetti: the lobster version had a very flavorful sauce, but the pasta was definitely too al dente, and the lobster was overcooked, making it dry and tough. The off-menu option offered by the chef was good, though there was still a problem with the pasta being cooked properly. Special mention goes to the staff, who were very courteous and helpful. Overall, a place with great potential, but it definitely needs some attention.

29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a cena con tutta la famiglia. È stata una meravigliosa scoperta. I camerieri gentilissimi e simpatici ci hanno accolti con limonata fresca. Dopo un gustoso amuse bouche, abbiamo gustato diversi piatti a base di pesce tutti abbondanti e ricercati. Ci ha sorpreso la quantità di pesce fresco presente in tutte le portate. Dall' antipasto al dolce è stata un' esperienza culinaria memorabile.

25/07/2025: Ieri, io e mia moglie, siamo andati a cenare, in codesto rinomato ristorante. Abbiamo ordinato due fritture Senza spine, 19,00 euro cadauno due contorni, uno di patate e l'altro misto di broccoli carciofi carote ecc. Un'acqua minerale naturale e un calice di vino rosato. Le fritture 19,00 euro cadauno, nella norma, senza infamia e Senza lode, il vino non particolare 7,00 un calice, acqua panna 3,00. Coperto 6,00. I contorni, rifiutati in quanto non mangiabili, pertanto la signora alla cassa , ha avuto l'onestà di non conteggiarli. Costo finale 54,00. Delusione, in base alle recensioni, ci saremmo aspettati altro. Peccato,forse era una serata storta, oppure ognuno ha il proprio livello.

09/09/2025: This restaurant is right in the historic center of Lecce, so the atmosphere is already beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The service is excellent; I didn't wait long to be served, and I must say the waiters are also very good and friendly. Unfortunately, I only give 3 stars for the first course. The pasta was a bit too salty, and at €25, I was sad to leave it half-eaten. Maybe it was a slip-up? I'll be back, but I'll definitely order the meat, which is their signature dish.

30/12/2025: I bought a wheel of focaccia from Bari, a wheel of focaccia with Taggiasca olives and capers, half a wheel of classic Apulian calzone with onions, and half a wheel of tomato and mozzarella calzone from this bakery. All for the modest sum of €38.75. I was in Barletta, not Milan. They recommended this place to me for the quality of their products, but the feedback was terrible. Except for the focaccia from Bari, the rest was nothing you couldn't find in any other bakery, certainly at a more reasonable price. The products were greasy with oil, but the terrible kind that leaves a sting in your throat with a bitterish taste (typical of pomace oil or similar). The calzone with sauce was old, the inside of the sauce was clearly solidified, typical of the next day, without any of the flavor and softness of the tomato and mozzarella of a calzone baked on the day of sale. These products were purchased at around 9:30 am. Another negative aspect during the sales service was that people other than the staff (dressed in civilian clothes) were coming in and out of the bread preparation and production area, demonstrating a lack of attention to hygiene rules, despite having a separate cash register for payment. I wouldn't go back.

18/12/2025: I came to this bakery/deli with my uncle for lunch during the week. I have to say it was a pleasant discovery, a simply fantastic deli. The focaccia barese was delicious, the parmigiana was excellent, and the vegetables were high-quality. The selection is wide and almost all the dishes look beautiful. We'll definitely be back!
