23/12/2025: We came here for the first time and were greeted by the kindness of the owner, who gave us excellent recommendations for the dishes. We had appetizers, first courses, and desserts, all beautifully prepared with good-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is very refined and comfortable. We will definitely return and would happily recommend it.

Highly recommended, it never disappoints in every way: captivating menu, top-quality ingredients, attentive and smiling service, pleasant and warm atmosphere, and well-spaced tables. The appetizers are excellent, and everything else is consistent... right down to the desserts!

09/12/2025: We chose L'Essenza in Vista for the Immaculate Conception Lunch, and the experience was truly excellent. The chef's special menu was meticulously crafted and full of authentic flavors. The land and sea appetizers were a great start: a selection of Martina Franca capocollo, blueberry burrata, and truly delicious mushroom meatballs, along with gratinated salmon cubes and cuttlefish in a creamy chickpea sauce. The portions were just right, and great attention was paid to the quality of the ingredients. The seafood cavatelli were also delicious, creamy and fragrant, as was the sea bass turban with saffron velouté, exquisitely delicate. The side dish, a baked potato, was also excellent, perfectly complementing the dish. To finish, a beautifully made puff pastry with cream and berries and a selection of fresh fruit. The service was courteous and punctual, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. A perfect celebration: good food, carefully prepared dishes, and great professionalism. Highly recommended for events and celebrations!

02/11/2025: A lovely restaurant offering an antipasti menu with several small appetizers. Ideal for two people to start with. The Pezzetti di cavallo was excellent, as was the fresh pasta with tomato sauce and ricotta. Simple service and good wine recommendations. We would have liked to see more smiles from our servers. Eating outside is a good option if the weather permits, as the street is quiet.

09/12/2025: Five of us went to this restaurant for a family lunch and had a truly wonderful time. The experience was incredibly positive: quick and attentive service, and the waiter was extremely friendly and always available. We were also impressed by the food; everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The professionalism of the entire staff was evident. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

04/02/2026: Stumbled onto it by accident, my daughter and I both had pasta, both with mushroom (but different sauces). The best we have had in Pulia! The owner was gracious, although the waitress was a bit sullen. But service was good, atmosphere great, and again, it’s the food stupid :0 so good. Prices were quite fair for the quality. I read a couple one star reviews and looked at their history and they just seem vindictive. We would recommend it.

10/03/2026: The set menu was nothing special. Overcooked paccheri, pork was okay. You had to get up to get in, despite the three rooms with an entrance used for tables. The waiters were nice, but they forgot to return for the request.

20/02/2026: We found the restaurant with a bit of difficulty because the location listed on Google is behind the restaurant. I've always heard good things about this restaurant, so when it's like this, expectations are high. The appetizer was satisfying (the fried food was a little too greasy), but very filling. The pacchero al pomodoro was precooked but well-seasoned. The main course, unfortunately, disappointed me because it was a bit dry, as if it were cooked in advance and reheated before being served, when in fact it's the dish I've heard the most good things about. I'll definitely be back to give it a second chance. Maybe in the summer, because since it's a pre-established menu, I think they also base it on seasonality, so we'll see if they can fill these slight gaps. The quality/price ratio is in line with the standards. The atmosphere is very friendly and family-friendly. The staff who served us were kind and very helpful. Excellent for family groups or friends.

30/12/2025: I bought a wheel of focaccia from Bari, a wheel of focaccia with Taggiasca olives and capers, half a wheel of classic Apulian calzone with onions, and half a wheel of tomato and mozzarella calzone from this bakery. All for the modest sum of €38.75. I was in Barletta, not Milan. They recommended this place to me for the quality of their products, but the feedback was terrible. Except for the focaccia from Bari, the rest was nothing you couldn't find in any other bakery, certainly at a more reasonable price. The products were greasy with oil, but the terrible kind that leaves a sting in your throat with a bitterish taste (typical of pomace oil or similar). The calzone with sauce was old, the inside of the sauce was clearly solidified, typical of the next day, without any of the flavor and softness of the tomato and mozzarella of a calzone baked on the day of sale. These products were purchased at around 9:30 am. Another negative aspect during the sales service was that people other than the staff (dressed in civilian clothes) were coming in and out of the bread preparation and production area, demonstrating a lack of attention to hygiene rules, despite having a separate cash register for payment. I wouldn't go back.

18/12/2025: I came to this bakery/deli with my uncle for lunch during the week. I have to say it was a pleasant discovery, a simply fantastic deli. The focaccia barese was delicious, the parmigiana was excellent, and the vegetables were high-quality. The selection is wide and almost all the dishes look beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

25/01/2026: Ordered an aperitif for two gluten-free people, and received only 6 measly pieces: 2 rustici, 2 focaccias, and 2 croquettes. Price: €9, an unbelievable price! Not to mention the watered-down spritz! Absolutely not recommended.

12/03/2026: A quiet atmosphere perfect for spending a day with family. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food reflecting our Apulian traditions. The outdoor area is also lovely for a breath of fresh air away from the city smog.
