11/11/2025: A fantastic experience for San Martino! 💫 I went to this restaurant to celebrate San Martino, and I must say it was a truly special experience! The food is all typically Salento, prepared with genuine ingredients and with that authentic flavor that makes you feel at home. From appetizers to desserts, every dish was carefully prepared, rich and plentiful, a true celebration of flavors and tradition. The local wines were also excellent, perfect to accompany the dishes. A special thanks to Antonio, the owner, always welcoming, kind, and attentive, and to Timo, the chef, whose skill brings the soul of Salento cuisine to the table. A warm and convivial place, ideal for an evening with friends or family. Highly recommended for those who want an authentic experience and enjoy true Salento cuisine, characterized by abundance, quality, and conviviality! 🍷🍇✨

05/11/2025: Last week, I went to dinner with some friends. It's hard for me to return to this place. The welcome was very pleasant and different from usual. The new autumn pizza was the best (cream of pumpkin, scamorza, and pancetta, delicate and crispy dough with red cabbage) along with the cabbage salad as an entree, really not bad. Once we were seated and chose our beverage (the wine selection is very respectable, even though I rarely toast anymore), the classic pittule to break the wait for the main courses: ravioli del plin with stew, fish in a salt crust, pecorino cheese with tomato sauce, seasonal vegetables cooked in every way. Dessert and coffee to finish. Everything was sooooo good. The bill was very fair. The staff was friendly. Thank you, and see you next time. PS: I'm not attaching photos of the dishes because my hands and cutlery were busy with the courses and, if necessary, sharing the dishes. 😋😋😋

09/12/2025: Five of us went to this restaurant for a family lunch and had a truly wonderful time. The experience was incredibly positive: quick and attentive service, and the waiter was extremely friendly and always available. We were also impressed by the food; everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The professionalism of the entire staff was evident. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

10/05/2026: I've been there several times. The food is vegan but delicious. I also bought some thin crust pastries made by them, which were very good and genuine.

02/01/2026: The Piccapane farmhouse made us feel at home this evening. We ate wonderfully, warmed by a stove. Every dish was delicious and prepared with attention to detail. At the end of the dinner, we had the opportunity to purchase some organic produce. In short, if you're looking for a welcoming, family-friendly place that offers quality food, then this is the place. We hope to return soon.

29/11/2025: What can I say? It was divine. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the dishes are beautifully prepared. We had cardoncelli mushrooms (outstanding) and culatello for appetizers. For our first course, we had lorighittas with sheep's milk ragù and fregola with cheese, melon, and truffle. Guys, it was amazing, a 10! Next, we shared the braised goat meat; we didn't even need a knife. The house cake was delicious! Good luck, guys: I know you're hidden away, but then again, gems are hard to find! We'll definitely be back.

17/11/2025: The place, the staff, the wonderful food. You feel pampered, but with great professionalism. The dishes are a revisitation of our typical dishes, reworked with great skill. The price is in line with what's offered. 10 out of 10.

19/04/2026: Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place due to the absolutely exorbitant prices. I'm sorry, but paying €20 for a seafood risotto is outrageous!

25/01/2026: Ordered an aperitif for two gluten-free people, and received only 6 measly pieces: 2 rustici, 2 focaccias, and 2 croquettes. Price: €9, an unbelievable price! Not to mention the watered-down spritz! Absolutely not recommended.

30/04/2026: We arrived at 2:20 PM and were greeted with great hospitality, which is certainly not a given: that alone deserves praise. A truly elegant location, with a splendid seafront view that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly throughout the lunch. The food? Without a doubt, high quality, with fresh ingredients and well-executed dishes. If I really had to find a "quote" (more out of honesty than actual criticism): - I missed the peppery mussels... because a peppery mussel should be peppery, not just a "cozzata" 😉; - on the tiramisu, however, the cocoa was a bit too much, slightly overpowering the other flavors. Aside from that, nothing much to say: the quality of the food was truly superb and the overall experience was absolutely positive. I would definitely go back. 👍

21/04/2026: €80 for a starter, first course and second course without wine, a normal fish meal. Quite expensive.

13/04/2026: I was there on Sunday, April 12th. The setting is lovely, and the sea view creates a great atmosphere. We ordered seafood, some of which weren't particularly fresh; perhaps smelling them before serving would be a good idea. The monkfish packages were excellent, but the seafood risotto was terrible. There were some obvious mistakes: the rice wasn't suitable for risotto, which didn't bind with the ingredients, and there was water on the bottom of the plate. For our second course, we ordered fried shrimp, calamari, and mixed seafood. The mixed seafood was the same as the calamari, with the addition of four small fish. If the menu says mixed seafood, I expect a fish-only fried seafood. The bill was reasonable for the location and the food. There's definitely room for improvement.

25/03/2026: The outdoor area is stunning: the pool area is spacious, modern, and meticulously designed. Perfect for an evening aperitif, it offers an elegant and evocative atmosphere thanks to the play of light on the water. An ideal setting for dynamic events and impressive outdoor buffets.

28/04/2026: The food was disappointing; the dishes lacked flavor and, to make matters worse, weren't very generous. Above all, the price was exorbitant (almost €50 for two pasta dishes and a limoncello – €5 for the limoncello itself...). In short, it's easy to see why the Rough Guide gave it such a bad review.

10/05/2026: Overall, the quality of the food was excellent, although the service was noticeably slow.

30/12/2025: I bought a wheel of focaccia from Bari, a wheel of focaccia with Taggiasca olives and capers, half a wheel of classic Apulian calzone with onions, and half a wheel of tomato and mozzarella calzone from this bakery. All for the modest sum of €38.75. I was in Barletta, not Milan. They recommended this place to me for the quality of their products, but the feedback was terrible. Except for the focaccia from Bari, the rest was nothing you couldn't find in any other bakery, certainly at a more reasonable price. The products were greasy with oil, but the terrible kind that leaves a sting in your throat with a bitterish taste (typical of pomace oil or similar). The calzone with sauce was old, the inside of the sauce was clearly solidified, typical of the next day, without any of the flavor and softness of the tomato and mozzarella of a calzone baked on the day of sale. These products were purchased at around 9:30 am. Another negative aspect during the sales service was that people other than the staff (dressed in civilian clothes) were coming in and out of the bread preparation and production area, demonstrating a lack of attention to hygiene rules, despite having a separate cash register for payment. I wouldn't go back.
