29/04/2025: It is a simple tavern, without frills with a large internal garden. It makes excellent pizza, both in terms of the long-leavened dough (48h) and the ingredients. The staff is kind and friendly. Make a reservation because it is always full, even at 7 pm.

29/04/2025: Really good and affordable pizza, top-notch desserts, and very friendly, attentive service. We returned here after four years, after having tried many disappointing restaurants in Stresa. Simply top-notch Italian! Clearly recommended.

23/04/2025: A wonderfully creative family-run restaurant serving delicious dishes, with a great wine selection too. We went without a reservation but they provided us with a table after a short waiting time, during which we enjoyed Stresa at night. The ravioli I had with Dave filling and hazelnuts was simply heavenly. My partner’s fish fillet was equally delicious! The dessert we shared had a few fresh pea 🫛 pods which remarkably enhanced the overall taste. Pity they were out of the fennel-based dessert. That’s for the next time!

04/04/2025: Classica trattoria con arredamento migliorabile e luci un po’ scarse. Abbiamo preso un antipasto con pesci di lago buono e vario. Un risotto alla carbonara buono ; un bollito con cipolle caramellate veramente buono. Un dolce discreto. Vino della casa discreto. Una bottiglia d’acqua . Conto 74 € per due persone. 07/04/2025: ¡Qué velada maravillosa tuvimos en Lo Stornello! Estuvimos en Stresa por 5 noches y esta fue de lejos nuestra comida favorita de la semana. Emilio nuestro camarero era maravilloso y nos cuidó mucho durante toda la noche. El menú es maravilloso y delicioso. Soy vegana, y realmente aprecio que tuvieran una serie de opciones MUY creativas para que yo eligiera. Mi esposo, un carnívoro de pleno derecho, también encontró que los platos eran deliciosos y creativos. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante a cualquiera. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra noche allí.

We were lucky enough to get there after nine in the evening, and we are truly grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to have a delicious dinner at such a late hour. The service is beyond praise: attentive, friendly, but at the same time completely unobtrusive. Special thanks to Signor Dominico for his recommendations - they were impeccable. The beef was tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. The pasta puttanesca was a real symphony of flavors: rich, spicy, with a bright character. And the semifreddo... it was a dessert delight, light, refined, on par with the best gastronomic impressions. It was a truly exceptional dinner and an amazing experience that we will definitely want to return to. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and see you soon!

15/04/2025: Divinely good food. Borromean risotto with perch (from Lake Maggiore) very delicate, grilled whitefish really good, fabulous lemon cake and chocolate and pear tart no less. Restaurant terrace with lake view. Kindness and professionalism. It's worth stopping. Well done, compliments.

11/04/2025: Ambiente molto piacevole e cibo fantastico. Ogni volta che torno al Caffè Torino trovo cortesia in un locale raffinato. I piatti tipici della tradizione sono davvero degni di nota. Il risotto milanese e la pasta con patate fagioli e lumache meravigliosi.

Elegance and refinement of the location and the dishes located in the most beautiful square of Stresa in the middle of the historic center. Prepared, competent and above all smiling staff. Very high quality food and excellent wine cellar. Great discovery !!!!

05/04/2025: Excellent restaurant in the centre. Good and well-plated food, friendly and quick service. Not a very light account. Yes, we are in Stresa but not exactly in a panoramic area. I return today and confirm the previous report. The bill is definitely too high. We may be in Stresa but we are also in a dim alley with a view of the opposite wall, not of Isola Bella. 17 euros for a flan (good, but with raw materials represented by leeks and potatoes) seems excessive to me. Like the fried lake fish at 24 euros, done well but with more battered vegetables than fish. And 4 euros cover charge...well! Plus I remembered larger portions upon first approach. I would suggest going to the lakeside for lunch. Spend to spend, at least you are in daylight and enjoying the view.
