05/11/2025: A wonderful experience! Around 1:30 pm, we were found a table for two upstairs with a magnificent view. The sage ravioli were marvelous, and the house pasta al ragù was delicious. I highly recommend it. I highly recommend it!

02/11/2025: There were nine of us and we chose just one dish: a first or second course. The choice was wide and everyone was satisfied. I had prawns, grilled fish, and seafood risotto... I had grilled whitefish, which was good, just a little too salty. Friendly staff

19/02/2026: The best pizza I've ever had, I hope to return someday. The crust was crispy and delicious, and the toppings were fresh and full of flavor. I was very lucky because we were able to get in right away without a reservation, but as I said, I was very lucky and it's definitely recommended to make a reservation since the place fills up very quickly.

07/03/2026: Wonderful dinner at Trattoria Due Piccioni in Stresa. The restaurant has a cozy and authentic atmosphere, slightly away from the busiest tourist streets, which makes the experience even more pleasant. The food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared dishes inspired by local Piedmont cuisine. Everything we tried was flavorful and well balanced, especially the pasta and regional specialties. The wine list was also very good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly, attentive, and professional, making us feel truly welcome throughout the evening. A fantastic trattoria if you want to enjoy high-quality Italian cuisine in a relaxed and charming setting. Highly recommended.

27/02/2026: I stopped in Stresa for work and chose Stornello because I read they also have vegan options. Since it's not an exclusively vegan restaurant, my expectations weren't very high. But I was wrong... their vegan dishes are nothing short of spectacular!! Starters, main courses (even the seitan goulash), and dessert! I'll be back, even if I have to travel all the way from Verona.

31/12/2025: I gave it 3 stars. Even though the food was good. Why, when did the bill arrive? They charged me. Even the cover charge for two one-year-old girls. 2.50 for 2. Which ate: One plate of pasta for two. And that's it. It's unacceptable and unfair. It's a shame about this omission.

14/10/2025: Family-run restaurant, very welcoming, the risotto with chocolate, goat's cheese and "out of this world" pumpkin was truly delicious, the venison with chestnuts and pumpkin was excellent, the dessert was also very good, I highly recommend the place, I also recommend booking.

The food was excellent and high-quality, the service very professional, and the service was enriched with short videos about fishing and the work they do with passion and love for the lake. 06/01/2026: Divine! Christmas motorboat to the Island of Lights – Nativity scenes and flavors on Fishermen's Island: a truly special evening, one that will last a lifetime. For the lights event, we booked dinner at Ristorante Italia, on the island of the same name, and even our arrival on the water, amidst the Christmassy reflections and atmosphere, promised something unique. I'm not a fan of fish—especially lake fish—but I have to say that here they literally made me love it. Dishes of lake fish were divinely prepared, carefully presented, and passionately described by the owner: a talkative, pleasant, and deeply engaging person. Like the rest of the family, of course, but he in particular was able to guide us, with enthusiasm and expertise, in choosing the best they had to offer. The photos speak clearly and tell a lot, even if they can't fully convey the emotions we experienced at the table. Last but not least, the discovery that the restaurant also offers round-trip boat transportation to and from Baveno and Stresa. A boat piloted by the son: a detail that makes all the difference and makes the experience even more intimate, complete, and evocative. An evening of lights dancing on the water, authentic flavors, and genuine people. One to cherish forever.

22/02/2026: Welcoming restaurant in the small square of Stresa with outdoor tables, fish and meat dishes, fresh pasta, very good, light pizza, exquisite desserts, very kind and attentive staff. Must try!

02/01/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant in an authentic setting. Top-quality ingredients: the mixed antipasto of lake fillets (5 different selections) is the perfect way to savor the local flavors; you can taste that it's prepared and marinated in-house. The tagliolini with fish ragù is a must-try. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.

18/12/2025: It is located on the fishermen's island so you have to take the boat to get there

21/11/2025: Thank you to the chef and the service, which were impeccable. We were fortunate enough this evening to enjoy marinated sashimi, lobster dumplings, perfectly cooked fish, and tender squid with katsuobushi. Everything was truly delicious. A wonderful discovery.

09/11/2025: Wonderful experience, very well looked after by both front of house team, kitchen and Chef owner. Sommelier was very very knowledgeable of the extensive wine list. We were a table of 6 and would certainly return.

05/11/2025: True hospitality in a small hotel with a big heart. Just 2 km from Stresa, it has parking and a private beach, excellently soundproofed rooms, and a breakfast buffet with homemade pastries, cured meats and cheeses, and freshly cooked eggs. The staff are friendly and professional, both in their welcome, room cleaning, and breakfast service. Congratulations, we'll be back!

09/10/2025: Large room, large bathroom, and large balcony. Clean. Good breakfast buffet. A bit noisy on weekdays, right on the street. Parking is available across the street. Staff and manager are friendly and accommodating. They always try to accommodate. Approximately 2 km to Stresa, not recommended for walking. No continuous sidewalk. Part of the way is on the street.
