28/04/2026: The owner was extremely rude. We left immediately, without even ordering. The rude and impolite reaction was triggered by a polite request to change tables so as not to be seated under the register with the music playing. I'd been before and had a good meal.
Too bad, I'll never return. I don't recommend the restaurant to anyone, and I'll obviously change restaurants when a group of friends suggests we go there for dinner.
06/04/2026: The food was average but the chicken was disgusting!!!
It felt like it was fried with fish and it was very smelly!! Also the drink had barely any alcohol.

18/04/2026: Lastresa was a great find, it’s situated on one of the back streets of Stresa and has a more relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was sweet and professional.
We were fortunate to be seated without reservations as we were at the door when they opened, but reservations are adviced in this busy, charming, resort town.
We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant in Stresa, Italy!

09/03/2026: We stayed for one night. That's fine. The hotel is located right in the middle of the small town, very close to the lake. That's perfect. The hotel is a bit dated, but the service is extremely friendly. Breakfast consists of cake. If you ask nicely, they'll also give you bread. The coffee is excellent. There's no elevator, so it's difficult for older people.
04/11/2025: Centrally located hotel, very close to the lake and within walking distance of the station for those arriving by train. Unfortunately, the bed cover in the room we were assigned was falling off and the mattress cover was missing. The bathroom had no bidet, which was another major drawback. When we requested a replacement room, we were unfortunately told they were fully booked. I recommend including photos of rooms like the one we were assigned on Booking.com and also include the option of bathrooms without bidets. The included breakfast was pleasant and served at the table, not a buffet, but there was a decent selection.

08/03/2026: The fish is really good and very fresh. This is our third time here, and the raw appetizers deserve a special mention! Superb! The cooked fish main course and the fried fish are also delicious!

We chose the raw fish menu, which was very good and the portions were generous!! Excellent value for money!!! We'll be back on the 31st 😊👍

04/04/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit. Unfortunately, we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food, which is simply far too long for a restaurant.
When we arrived, the table was already dirty, and the cutlery was also dirty, which immediately made a very bad first impression.
The food itself unfortunately didn't improve the situation: The pizza was burnt black, the pasta was cold, and on top of that, the food didn't arrive at the same time for everyone at the table. Some of us even had to wait another 30 minutes or so before our food finally arrived.
Overall, the service and organization were very disappointing. We wouldn't wish such a visit on anyone.

01/05/2026: I'm a regular at the Last Hall restaurant in Baveno. The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Dino and offers a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. The interior is elegant and original, while the outdoor terrace overlooks the lake, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere.
The menu is excellent, with high-quality dishes. The wait staff is also friendly, attentive, and always available. I also had the pleasure of meeting chef Andrea, who delighted us with truly incredible dishes.
I will definitely return.
10/04/2026: Refined and exquisite dishes and a fabulous location.
Great credit to the highly trained and efficient staff, especially the maitre d' who served us.

01/05/2026: I had lunch, and as soon as I entered, the atmosphere was gloomy. I had an appetizer, a main course, dessert, and coffee. The appetizer consisted of a platter of local cured meats that actually looked like they'd been bought at the supermarket. The main course was a slice of Fassona beef that was actually difficult to cut and full of sinew; the side dish was just roast potatoes that tasted of sweet vanilla.
The dessert was an apple tarte tatin, but I found green pieces of mold inside. Obviously, I didn't eat it and pointed it out to the manager, who simply replied, "Excuse me." My husband and I were served coffee with two packets of sugar, one of which was already opened.

25/04/2026: We had several delicious meals. All were very good and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and attentive; they even asked about any allergies.
23/04/2026: We walked there in very warm weather. The restaurant opens at noon.
Unfortunately, we didn't get any drinks because we didn't order anything.
The gorge and St. Anna are worth a visit.

03/05/2026: We had a lakeside pizza that wasn't bad, but the wait was a bit long (it was the evening of Friday, May 1st). It was a shame about the dessert, "Japanese cream caramel cheesecake," because it had nothing Japanese or cheesecake-like about it: it was a simple cream caramel (which was also good), but it's better to write it down directly without raising false expectations. Service was average.
03/05/2026: Amazing pizza this one is with aged prosciutto and burrata ♥️😻 the owner was extremely kind and the Argentinian waiter the best! We came without reservation and despite they were full they found the way to accommodate a nice table!! Prices are good for the quality of service and food!

07/05/2026: We had lunch with some friends at this restaurant. We ordered two appetizers for five people and five lake fish-based main courses. Everything was quite good. Service was also quite fast, considering the large number of people.
21/04/2026: We ordered a pizza that looked like it came straight from a frozen supermarket... A tourist trap, not good.
The carpaccio wasn't seasoned, the salad was dry... A shame, the view is beautiful.
The waiter was pleasant.
