20/09/2025: A very nice terrace on the first floor, and very friendly and charming service. The fresh pasta and fish dishes are particularly good. The portions are generous; it's hard to manage three full courses. Ideally, therefore, starters and side dishes are shared. We had the eggplant timbale and the mussels as starters, and both were very aromatic. The kitchen also prepares meat excellently. A particularly positive aspect is that many wines are available by the glass, so you can try more. We enjoyed the hospitality several times.

24/10/2025: Beautiful place! Even though it's autumn, I enjoyed eating outside thanks to the sunny weather. Excellent food, generous portions. The waitress was very kind and helpful.
18/10/2025: A very original meal with surprising and very successful pairings.
This meal met my expectations with the quality of the ingredients and their preparation.
The service was attentive and thoughtful.

The atmosphere is welcoming and charming, with a touch of old-world elegance that makes everything even more special. A special thanks to the owner, who was incredibly kind and attentive: she recommended a truly delightful evening meal and even arranged a little surprise for my husband—a gesture we greatly appreciated and which made our stay even more memorable.

Top-quality ingredients: the mixed antipasto of lake fillets (5 different selections) is the perfect way to savor the local flavors; you can taste that it's prepared and marinated in-house. The tagliolini with fish ragù is a must-try. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.

26/11/2025: Right by the lake, so you start with an awesome setting. I enjoyed the the seafood pizza, the Fish Plate and really enjoyed the tiramisu. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is not fancy, very chill and laid back. A must to visit.
29/10/2025: We only wanted to have a drink at lunchtime, and even though the restaurant was practically empty, we were refused service. We can't understand this at all, because in the off-season, you'd think they'd be happy with so few customers... and drinks are a good source of revenue. Very disappointing!

05/11/2025: True hospitality in a small hotel with a big heart. Just 2 km from Stresa, it has parking and a private beach, excellently soundproofed rooms, and a breakfast buffet with homemade pastries, cured meats and cheeses, and freshly cooked eggs.
The staff are friendly and professional, both in their welcome, room cleaning, and breakfast service. Congratulations, we'll be back!

A bit noisy on weekdays, right on the street. Parking is available across the street. Staff and manager are friendly and accommodating. They always try to accommodate.
Approximately 2 km to Stresa, not recommended for walking.
No continuous sidewalk. Part of the way is on the street.

21/02/2026: The hosts at Luna are incredibly kind. After a hike to Monte Garza, I arrived at Luna with a bad knee. Taking a taxi down to Carmine wasn't possible, so they drove us down. I was extremely grateful. Grazie mille!
17/02/2026: It's actually a nice restaurant: the food is okay, the service is usually friendly – we've been there at least 20 times by now.
What I find hard to understand, however, is the owner's attitude. Unfortunately, he often seems unfriendly or unapproachable, so you don't really feel welcome as a guest. That's a shame, because for us, a little bit of emotion is essential.
We would really like to come more often, but this way it's not quite as enjoyable.

18/03/2026: This restaurant is recognized as the most expensive in Stresa.
After hearing this news, we went to try it... a restaurant with a cellar, nice but with its flaws.
Not enough staff... you wait too long between courses.
The food is of average quality, the quantity is small... let's be clear, small portions.
I'd say, without offending anyone, the Oscar statuette is absolutely not awarded...
The outrageous price... I won't go into details.
I live in Moncalieri, but I come to Stresa to this restaurant. It's OUT OF THE MARKET + LOGISTICS (LAW: PETROL) + TOP HOTEL +... I HAVE TO WORK FOR A WEEK.
I'LL FINISH WITH EQUALLY COMPETITIVE AND GOOD PLACES FOR FOUR TIMES LESS.
RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WITH GOOD MONEY AND NOT HUNGRY.
06/03/2026: I had high hopes for celebrating my boyfriend's birthday here, but it turned into a very disappointing experience.
• Regarding the food and ambiance: Objectively speaking, the sashimi was indeed very fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very quiet, which is why I gave it two stars.
• Regarding the service (extremely disappointing): I made a reservation in advance and clearly stated that it was a 'birthday dinner,' hoping to be given a quiet spot with a good view, and asking if a small candle could be added with dessert. However:
1. Seating arrangement: Upon arrival, we were only given seats near the restroom or in the aisle. Inexplicably, the restaurant wasn't fully occupied that night, and better seats by the window were empty all night, yet they refused to accommodate our pre-booked birthday guests.
2. Lack of ceremony: The small candle we had requested was completely forgotten, and we didn't even hear a single 'Happy Birthday' greeting all night.
3. Cold service: There was no basic courtesy or greeting when we paid the bill; the service level was severely inconsistent with the €100 per person price tag.
I wanted a wonderful birthday memory, but in the end, I only felt neglected. I wouldn't recommend this place to diners who value service quality and a sense of occasion.
