02/05/2026: Excellent experience, dinner for four this evening at Al Sciucc di Stropino. 3 first courses, 3 second courses, 3 desserts, 1/2 liter of wine, two bottles of water, and 2 coffees, about €90: excellent value, excellent quality food. It's hard to find better at this price, especially since you can tell the dishes are prepared with great care and attention. The first courses, like gnocchi or ravioli, for example, are so delicious that I think they're handmade. I also appreciate that the menu is limited to a few dishes, not as extensive as in some restaurants: this allows them to focus on quality and offer dishes made to perfection, and this is evident in everything they serve. Even the desserts (tiramisu and apple pie) are homemade, not mass-produced, and at a price (€4.50) that's rare to find in restaurants these days (desserts typically start at €6 and up). I'll be back soon, a top choice if you want to eat properly without spending a lot!

06/07/2026: We ate pizza here and it was really very good. The service was very friendly and attentive. We can't understand the bad reviews. You also have to know that in Italy you don't just sit in a restaurant for a drink. That's frowned upon. Sorry, but you should know that 😉 5 stars from us!

04/07/2026: Noisy, Caesar salad; endless green salad, croutons made from stale bread, three tiny pieces of chicken, and look for the Parmesan... and no bread for dipping: €18 Staff who don't understand French or English Personally, I was disappointed by the quantity and quality. I had to ask for tomatoes.

31/05/2026: What an amazing experience, we came from quite far to try the food and check the location and we were not disappointed! It was a fantastic experience, from the beginning to the end, with the food of course being the cornerstone of it all. The dishes were tasteful, imaginative and so well constructed. Plus the veranda on the lake shore topped the whole experience off. Thank you so much to Chef Agostino for the experience.

05/11/2025: True hospitality in a small hotel with a big heart. Just 2 km from Stresa, it has parking and a private beach, excellently soundproofed rooms, and a breakfast buffet with homemade pastries, cured meats and cheeses, and freshly cooked eggs. The staff are friendly and professional, both in their welcome, room cleaning, and breakfast service. Congratulations, we'll be back!

09/10/2025: Large room, large bathroom, and large balcony. Clean. Good breakfast buffet. A bit noisy on weekdays, right on the street. Parking is available across the street. Staff and manager are friendly and accommodating. They always try to accommodate. Approximately 2 km to Stresa, not recommended for walking. No continuous sidewalk. Part of the way is on the street.

16/06/2026: Refined, high-quality dishes. The atmosphere is perfect, both on the outdoor veranda in summer and by the fireplace in winter. Highly recommended!

12/07/2026: We ate for two. The food and service were excellent, and the staff were super friendly. Just be careful, the prices don't match those found on Google or other sites, which aren't updated but are 4-5 years old or more. The prices are roughly in line with other restaurants. While we didn't agree with those prices, we ate well. The location is excellent, allowing you to continue your stroll through the center or head to the lakeside.

12/07/2026: Of all the experiences we had in Stresa, Ristorante Caffè Torino was not one to remember. The meal service was so rushed that it must have been pre-prepared plates that had simply been microwaved. The aperitif arrived after we had already received our main courses. The wine was served as we were finishing our meal. The service was disorganized, and the prices were slightly higher than other cafes (for example, a bottle of water was €1 more).

25/06/2026: We were here again today, just like when it was still run by the father. The food was wonderful then, and it still is today. The pizzas, the spaghetti with seafood, and the appetizer platter with three kinds of fish are all highly recommended. Add to that a friendly atmosphere and attentive service. Our dog was immediately brought a bowl of water without us even having to ask. And last but not least, it's also quite popular with locals, which speaks for itself. All in all, a wonderful visit – we'd love to come back, and we wish the whole family continued success.

29/06/2026: **⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** There are places that don't need to reinvent themselves because they've already found their essence. La Latteria is one of them. I've been frequenting this restaurant for years, and each time I confirm the same certainty: it's one of the most beautiful places to dine in Verbania. The location is simply extraordinary—one of those places near the lake that never ceases to excite, capable of making any occasion special. But it would be reductive to stop at the setting. The cuisine is authentic, rooted in Italian tradition, with a care for the ingredients that is clearly evident on the plate. The cockerel is a must: perfectly cooked, flavorful, the kind that reminds you why certain classics never go out of style. The service is worthy of a restaurant that knows its value without ever being self-referential. A place to return to, always.

15/05/2026: Excellent restaurant in the historic center of Intra. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly, competent staff. Very good and carefully prepared food, both fish and meat. It was a shame about the dessert, especially the Bunet, which wasn't the typical traditional one. Prices are moderately high, but in line with the quality of the products.

21/05/2026: The food here was excellent and the service was also very good. Would recommend the courgette flower starter as it was sensational. The poached pear for dessert was also fantastic.

15/05/2026: The restaurant is modern and well-kept, sophisticated but not pretentious. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The food deserves a special mention; all the dishes were excellent and meticulously crafted down to the smallest details, from the plating to the food pairings. The value for money was excellent compared to other restaurants we tried in town, where the service was also significantly inferior.

19/04/2026: Compact, but incredibly tasty place. When you enter the premises and see the laconic interior, you don't expect anything incredible. But!!! Every bite of each dish is a masterpiece! The chef is just an artist. The waitress is great. Recommendations!

07/04/2026: A top-notch culinary experience. We tried the lobster, red shrimp, and scampi agnolotti (sublime), and two slices of the catch of the day, both incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The dessert and recommended wine were also excellent. ​Note on the service: The order is taken directly by the chef; this slightly lengthens the initial wait, but ensures extreme care in explaining the dishes. Once we ordered, however, the kitchen was extremely fast and the service impeccable. ​Highly recommended for those who prioritize the quality of the raw ingredients.
