06/10/2023: Grauenhaft! Speisekarte sieht verlockend aus. Resultat: Katastrophe! Nie wieder. Ein Unterschied zum letzten Jahr wie Tag und Nacht! Kein Wunder, dass der Ex Orfeo das Weite gesucht hat. Dieses Restaurant schafft sich selbst ab.

10/09/2023: Terrasse très agréable dans la charmante ville de Cannobio. Serveur attentionné et soucieux de trouver la meilleure table, même sans réservation. Carte complète et plats très bien servis et savoureux (mention spéciale aux pâtes à la truffe). Une belle adresse !

07/01/2024: Schönes Ambiente an einem schönen Sommerabend. 3 Gönge Menü für 5 Personen. Keiner musste lange auf sein Essen warten. Der Service war gut eingespielt und wir wurden gefragt ob wir bereits den nächsten Gang haben möchten oder ob wir noch etwas warten wollen. Preis Leistung Top. Wir haben für 2 Flaschen Wein und 5x 3 Gänge ca 250€ gezahlt. Also alles im ganzen ein schöner Abend

24/03/2024: Arriving for lunch, after having shown us a seat, we decided to order two pizzas. A spicy salami, peppers and onion and one with zola, onion, fior di latte and sausage. After a while of waiting the pizzas finally arrived but to our surprise they were wrong as the ingredients were missing. Surprise, instead of sausage, ragù was added complete with sautéed meat. We turned to the waiter who went inside the restaurant without saying a word to us so after a quarter of an hour we decided to go inside, pay for the drink and leave. One of the employees or the owner justified himself by saying that the sausage had run out. I think that if you don't have a product you communicate it immediately, not substituting and putting whatever you like as you like. NEVER AGAIN!

24/03/2024: one star is already a lot. I think humility and education should come first. experience never to be repeated again. poor food, and made fun of on the raw material.

14/10/2023: Well what can one say. It's Baveno Italy. Outside of Milan. The last Hall is the the resteaunt inside the Grand Hotel Dino. For a taste of the old country you've found it here. There's no exaggeration when I say it's the best Italian food on the planet. Nothing like the real thing is the real thing. Food here has ingredients that have no preservatives. What a difference that makes. The only word that comes to mind is succulent!!!! Please give this a try, words do not do justice to this fine dining experience. From the accents, the food, the atmosphere of the real old West from it's origins. That's right. Why do you think they call those movies spaghetti westerns. They understand and helped us to forge our identity. We in the U S. Took it from their play book. They are our brothers and family. Great people these Italians really are.

18/09/2023: An exceptional place for deplorable cuisine. It's incredible ! We were expecting a quality restaurant but we came across dishes of very poor quality and very poor taste. A bitter and undercooked endive, Dry and tasteless perch fillet, Passable zucchini… TO FLEE

03/04/2024: This was a good experience, not great, but good nonetheless. We had 2 pizzas, which were nice. The view and the location is great!

17/03/2024: Buon cibo, ottima vista lago e personale molto gentile. Piatti e cucina ad ottima qualità prezzo. Consiglio la frittura di pesce di lago.
