03/10/2023: Service I gave 4 stars only because there is no longer a restaurant, they only make hotels, very clean rooms, I think the location is the most beautiful in Baveno in addition to the view, beautiful garden plus private beach. Paola, the owner of the hotel, is very helpful and also friendly. Seeing is believing, go there, it's really worth it👍👍👍👍

29/03/2024: We were a little afraid because of the very different reviews, but we are incredibly happy that we chose the Bolongaro. The service was incredibly warm, especially to our son. The food was sooooo delicious - we had 2 different pizzas as well as a small penne carbonara for our son and dessert. We can recommend everyone to visit Bolongaro and will come again ourselves. Probably tomorrow ;)

05/04/2024: I appreciated the well-kept and welcoming restaurant, located in the central area of ​​Stresa; The menu and the quality of the dishes with the wide choice of wines recommended by Emilio which accompanied the dinner up to the dessert, which were also delicious. Courtesy and helpfulness of the staff, impeccable service. Thanks for the great experience, we will definitely be back. I also recommend it because yours is not just a job but you can feel the passion you put into it.

29/03/2024: Restaurant in the center of Stresa, spacious and welcoming environment with large internal garden. Very friendly and helpful staff, for each course we were recommended the wine by the sommelier, all excellent. The castelmagno ravioli and creme brûlé are delicious!! I recommend it for a romantic dinner or for family occasions

21/03/2024: Simple hotel with a very good location in the center and meters from the lake and the pier. A bit far from the train station if you walk. The room was basic and small but clean. It did not have a bidet bathroom. They should improve the heating, the radiator is turned on from time to time and it is not enough and the lighting is poor. Breakfast is traditional Italian: good. The couple that attends are loving and cordial but they should improve these points.

23/03/2024: Magnificent restaurant as much for its location as for its cuisine. Often staying on Lake Maggiore, tacabutun delights me every season. A sure value... Vitello tonato - fritto misto - costolette milanese - risotti - tiramisu! Treat yourself !

06/04/2024: Fast and friendly service. Our children ordered prosciutto with melons, wonderful and beautifully served! The pizzas were praised by the children! Other main courses with beef were wonderful, beautifully fried. We'd love to come back!

27/02/2024: Buongiorno,ci siamo trovati al Mottarone per fare 4 passi sulla neve,abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzo alla casa della neve dato che "poveri sono rimasti senza funivia diamo una mano all'economia locale" purtroppo quando è arrivato il conto abbiamo dovuto ricrederci,8euro e 50 per mezzo litro di vino sfuso,20 euro per una ciotola di funghi e polenta e 20 euro per una di carne e polenta con 2 caffè per un totale di 60 euro,se poi calcoliamo 38 euro di giornaliero penso che tra non molto la località chiuderà i battenti, non credo che i turisti vadano trattati così,di certo non ritorneremo,il cibo era decente il pane orribe e insignificante,grazie dell'ospitalità,la prossima volta porteremo i nostri soldi altrove.

11/10/2023: Ottima cena a base di funghi...portate fin troppo abbondanti, il vino consigliato da un cameriere giovane e simpatico era molto buono ..ambiente semplice ,pulito...e comunque un menù vario!

30/09/2023: Senza troppo pretendere, un'occasione per una piacevole sosta, Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, il menù ampio e variato, il cibo di buona qualità, la posizione deliziosa. I tagliolini ai funghi o al ragù bianco non saranno all'altezza di Cannavacciuolo, ma certamente si lasciano mangiare. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è adeguato.

04/10/2023: This was just the best little restaurant in the village and local area. Food was great and we were three vegetarians out of four. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were fabulous. We went there four times in one week. That’s how good it was.

03/01/2024: SIMPLY UNDERGROUND!! Starting with the service staff...who all ran away when we arrived. Then the waiter....who despite the note didn't manage to serve us the drinks...and certainly not the right drinks. Food was very bad, definitely don't order lasagna!! When making pizza with fresh basil, the basil was simply baked in the oven. Pizza sauce was completely tasteless. After we had the food, the drinks finally arrived!!!!The salad was simply delivered with the meal instead of as a starter. Despite the fact that the food was returned, no questions were asked. So....NEVER AGAIN!!!
