12/04/2025: Peccato che abbiamo scoperto questo locale a fine stagione invernale. La struttura è calda ed accogliente, arredata con stile montagna.
Il menù è diversificato e soprattutto ben cucinato. Ottimi gli gnocchi ai formaggi e la girella di plin.
Buona la pizza, così come i dolci.
Proprietari e staff estremamente gentili e sorridenti. Difficili riscontrare tanta qualità e gentilezza in alta montagna!
La prossima stagione ci recheremo spesso.

24/08/2025: A lovely place in a lovely location. It's located on a corner of the square that bisects Via Mensa, a stone's throw from the Royal Palace. We ordered pizza, calzones, mussels, and fried fish. The pizzas and calzones were well-seasoned, a little overcooked for our taste, and sometimes a little burned. A generous portion of mussels and average fried fish (vegetables, rings, tentacles, 1 prawn, and 1 scampi for €22). An excellent glass of prosecco and good wine by the glass. Water, two soft drinks, 1 small beer, half a liter of wine, 1 glass of prosecco, 3 desserts, 3 calzones, 3 pizzas, 1 portion of mussels, 1 fried fish, 1 coffee, and 1 grappa, all for about €155 for 8 people. The desserts were very good. Excellent service. It was a Saturday evening in August, and we were seated at 8:00 PM, but by 9:00 PM we were practically finished. Despite all the outdoor tables being occupied, they were really quick. Very well organized.
23/08/2025: A good restaurant in Venaria, with high-quality ingredients, excellent service, and beautiful dining rooms, especially those upstairs. The pizza is also recommended! Excellent value.

04/07/2025: "4 stars! The restaurant 'Cavaliere' was a delightful experience! The food is excellent and the dishes are well prepared and presented. The service was professional and friendly, although a little formal at times. The atmosphere is elegant and refined, perfect for a special evening. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the menu could be a little more varied and innovative. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good dining experience in an elegant setting!"

I tried it several times after moving to the area, and finally I'm writing a review: I would never want to take a gorgo e cipolla that is not the one made by Tony, always ready to welcome us warmly as if we were at home!

07/08/2025: I'm sorry to find it closed (open only on Saturdays and Sundays). I've been to the chalet both in winter and summer, always eating excellently and spending a few pleasant hours relaxing. Finding it closed in the middle of August was disappointing! If amenities aren't available, as a tourist, you choose other destinations. Please reopen!
PS: This also applies to the La Coche hut located across the street, which is closed all summer.
Thank goodness for the legendary Gimont hut.

17/08/2025: A restaurant tucked away from the main shopping center, offering both seafood and meat dishes. The Ligurian-style octopus appetizer is good, but the tagliatelle mari e monti could be improved, with unpleasant clam shell fragments sticking out of your mouth. Service is prompt, and the complimentary focaccia appetizer is very welcome. One peculiarity of the setting: if you're offered to eat in the garden, don't expect flowerbeds and hedges, but a shared parking lot shaded by a single lime tree.

08/08/2025: I celebrated my birthday here with about 15 people.
I had requested a private room, but upon arrival, the long table was set in a fairly quiet spot, even though it was surrounded by other tables.
Quick service, excellent pizzas, and superb fried gnocco! Generous portions, even for the salads.

22/08/2025: A welcoming place, perfect for a moment of conviviality among adults while the kids have fun in safety. Kindness is guaranteed, as is the welcome: we called at the last minute on a rainy evening when we couldn't be outside with the kids (we had all eaten and would have just had dessert, coffee, and drinks), and the response was maximum availability and hospitality, and we were satisfied.

30/07/2025: A very nice place in a lively area of the city. The restaurant advertises 7:30 PM, but opens at 8 PM in the summer. Despite the misunderstanding between us, Google, and the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed.
I had a Bagna Cauda, which I loved, accompanied by a mix of cooked and raw vegetables. My brother and mother had the Plin (the only flaw was that the portion wasn't generous and the plate was huge compared to the food inside) and the veal with tuna sauce as an appetizer, which was very good.
For dessert, a typical local pudding.
The only flaw I have to point out is the coffees, which cost €3 each (for a total of €9 for three coffees). We realized this the next day when we looked at the receipt. It seems a bit excessive.
Overall, an excellent place where we had the opportunity to enjoy good, traditional food. If I were to pass by again, I would definitely go back (but I wouldn't have coffee at the end of the meal 😅).
