07/03/2026: I've been to Du Village and I must say it was a wonderful discovery. From the outside, the restaurant seems small and discreet, but as soon as you enter, you realize it's much larger than it appears: a spacious room that can seat up to 130 people, perfect for groups and events. We had a very good pizza, but browsing the menu, we realized the selection is truly extensive: you can find practically everything here, from A to Z, from traditional cuisine to fresh fish, with specialties like oysters and seafood. The owner has extensive experience in the restaurant business: over 55 years of experience and 38 years of self-employment, and this shows in the organization, the cuisine, and the attention to customers. The restaurant is also ideal for events and celebrations, such as weddings, first communions, baptisms, and parties, thanks to its large spaces and varied menu. We ate very well and were welcomed with kindness. I will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. 🍕🐟

18/04/2026: We waited about half an hour for two simple entrees to arrive, and I should point out that it was 2:00 PM, so most of the customers had already finished lunch. Furthermore, we didn't appreciate the presence of dogs in the restaurant. It's not nice to eat lunch while hearing them barking. When we reported the disturbance, they didn't even apologize. You have to be humble when you choose this profession. You apologize to the customer both for the delay in service and for the inconvenience caused. Otherwise, you're doing something else.

07/04/2026: During my vacation in Italy, I ate at this restaurant several times and was always very satisfied: the dishes are excellent at extremely reasonable prices and the staff is very kind.

17/05/2026: We booked for 9am, and by 9am, our table was ready. Even though the place was very busy, we didn't wait long for our food. Everything was excellent: the saffron and Castelmagno gnocchi, as well as the fried fish. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

The welcome was outstanding, the staff were always smiling, and the food made us want to come back (which we did). The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. 21/05/2026: Every now and then, we stop by Eataly for lunch or dinner... convenient and close to home! Eataly offers a higher quality food, which you'll obviously see at the checkout, but it's all in proportion to the quality of the products!

15/06/2026: I've been wanting to return to this place for a long time, which isn't just a place but a true cultural hub for food and wine in the charming town of Ivrea. As soon as we arrived, we immediately indulged in an aperitivo; the place specializes in aperitivos that lead directly to dinner. To begin, I had a good glass of red wine, while my colleague opted for a non-alcoholic cocktail, which was thoroughly enjoyed. We enjoyed the whole experience in a convivial atmosphere, accompanied by an excellent platter of mixed cured meats. Next, we dived straight into dinner, right when the kitchen opened. First courses dominated our menu, as we couldn't go any further due to the long drive, not to mention the additional kilometers we still had to cover. Therefore, we opted for excellent tagliolini with wild boar ragù; the whole combination was a perfect fit, every ingredient perfectly fresh. The wild boar ragù itself is very strong and not easy to balance; in fact, we barely made it in terms of heaviness. Next, we had dessert, a tart filled with hot chocolate. This dessert helped warm the whole meal and enlivened our sense of smell with its intense aromas. We chose the perfect dessert. Dinner was accompanied by a simple bottle of still water, and everything ended with a good coffee. All that's left to do is console ourselves and plan another evening in this beautiful setting.

01/06/2026: Everything was bad, the service, nothing like what I expected. It happens. It took us almost an hour to receive the appetizer. The bread was awful, the food was cold. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

24/07/2026: A quiet family evening, but with a twist, we discovered a treasure! The best pizza in Bardonecchia, hands down, very good! A wide-ranging menu with absolutely reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful service. Highly recommended!

19/07/2026: So-so "So-so" in every way: from the welcome from a waitress who rudely says "Come out, it's all full," which was promptly reprimanded by the owner, to the pizza itself, because the ones with tomato sauce have caused severe heartburn in those who have eaten them. Friendly owner, low price.

26/05/2026: La Taverna del Pescatore (the Anchor) is a delightful Turin establishment where seafood reigns supreme, served in a variety of exquisite dishes. It's family-run, and you can tell right away from the courtesy, passion, and professionalism with which you're greeted. The fish is incredibly fresh, and our grilled meat was excellent. 26/05/2026: Three packages of breadsticks from €3.50 to €12.50: when we pointed this out, they apologized, okay. Poor quality, stale breadsticks, and the whole-wheat ones taste rancid.

19/04/2026: Excellent bread, always fresh and keeps well (though it always sells out quickly!). The focaccias are also highly recommended, especially the plain white and red ones, which are incredibly soft!

03/06/2026: The pizzas were delicious, everyone liked the food, children and adults. The service was really nice, we booked online and when we arrived everything was set and ready. I recommend this place. Follow me for more hidden gems around the world.
