21/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience. Besides the divine food, we were struck by the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They offered us focaccia and a delicious spinach and goat's milk gorgonzola appetizer, free of charge, and they were so good we wanted seconds (haha). Even the small desserts they made were simply wonderful, carefully prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is gorgeous, welcoming and relaxing, one of those places where you feel good as soon as you enter. A special thanks also to the young waitress, very polite, very well-mannered and truly professional. You can sense the passion, quality, and attention to detail. 07/07/2026: We were greeted very warmly. Upon arrival, they explained everything to us, and it was appreciated that we were escorted to our room. The lady made sure everything was in working order. Plus, they gave us the option of staying on site and using the various pools until our desired time, even though we checked out at 10:00 AM. Top, I'd say. Thank you so much. Very kind staff, we'll be back.

12/05/2026: This exceptional restaurant, nestled in a peaceful setting, boasts a terrace overlooking the cloister of a former abbey. The service is outstanding and the value for money is excellent.

03/05/2026: A charming place on the first floor, in the loggia next to the cathedral. Excellent menu, both fixed and à la carte, at fair prices and very good dishes. Eight of us tried the house appetizer, plin, roast beef, veal with tuna sauce, and rabbit. All the dishes were inviting, flavorful, and delicious! The entire service was accompanied by an appetizer or welcome drink and a sampling of sweet treats after coffee. For our sweet guests, we tried the coffee millefeuille. Everything was delicious!

24/04/2026: A restaurant near the center, very neat and clean, with a casual atmosphere and friendly, approachable staff. You can tell they pay attention to detail. I had lunch with my wife, sharing dishes: fried zucchini flowers, truly light and excellent (no photos, they were eaten immediately); agnolotti with white ragù, very good and perfectly flavorful; cabbage with bagna cauda, ​​truly delicious and very flavorful; traditional veal with tuna sauce, delicious; and for dessert, the bonet, truly delicious. Having a daughter who's a pastry chef, I'm always hesitant to order desserts, but this one was truly top-notch. If I were to pass through Casale Monferrato again, I'd definitely stop by.

Upon entry, a well-stocked bar welcomes you for a delicious aperitif, flanked by a lounge with colorful sofas where you can enjoy it before dining in one of the dining rooms. Simple, comfortable furnishings. Reservations are recommended and appreciated.

30/05/2026: I almost never leave negative reviews. La Gallina forced my hand. We visited on 29th May 2026. Nearly every dish arrived dry and overcooked. My 6yo daughter’s cotoletta alla milanese was so tough she physically could not chew it. Her dinner ended up being just fries. She was still hungry when we left — I had to order her food back at the hotel. €30 for two rubbery scallops for a starter. Monkfish only edible thanks to a sauce masking completely dry fish. Beef and pasta with tomato sauces were fine — that is the only positive I can offer on the food. Service was chaotic — four different waiters, no coordination, a bill from another table thrown down in front of us. When we complained, Chef Graziano Cacciopolli walked away. No apology. Not a single word. No manager ever came to our table. And then — as if to make the insult complete — we waited 10 to 15 minutes for the dessert menu that never really came. Exhausted and fed up, we finally asked for the bill ourselves. It arrived within a minute. That told us everything. When they want you gone, they move fast. When you need attention as a paying guest, you are invisible. We did not just feel poorly served. We felt unwelcome. For a restaurant of this reputation, charging these prices, that is simply ridiculous and unforgivable. The location is beautiful. The staff are clearly trying under impossible conditions. But Chef Graziano Cacciopolli and management failed on every level — in the kitchen and in basic human decency toward their guests. A waste of money and a deeply unpleasant evening for our family.

26/04/2026: The first courses were good and well-balanced in flavor (gnocchi and tagliatelle); unfortunately, the breaded mushrooms were soaked in oil. The bunet was good, even if served a little cold.

02/05/2026: Yesterday I went to the Ai Nebbioli restaurant and had a really good time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I felt at home. The service and food were excellent; the waitress was super kind and skilled. As for the food, I have nothing to complain about; everything was delicious, from appetizers to desserts. I'll be back often.
