09/01/2026: We stumbled upon Osteria 46 based on the reviews during a trip to the seaside. Excellent cuisine and generous portions. The tagliolini with black truffle and homemade gnocchi were delicious, and the braised beef melted in your mouth. Among the desserts (all homemade), I recommend the Tarte Tatine with local apples (so they explained to us) and the classic bonet, true to Piedmontese tradition. All this is complemented by the professionalism and kindness of the wait staff—well done, well done, well done. A stop is highly recommended. (Cheers from Ro and Luca :)

09/01/2026: 10 out of 10! We were looking for a special place and it was a total success. The restaurant is decorated with impeccable taste. You can tell they've paid a lot of attention to the aesthetics; you feel comfortable and well taken care of from the moment you walk in. As for the food, the Vitello Tonnato and the Ravioli del Plin were incredible, truly authentic Piedmontese flavor. 🇮🇹 But the real showstopper was the octopus with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy and the octopus was cooked to perfection. It was, by far, the dish of the night.

10/02/2026: The food is excellent, and the staff is truly helpful, despite being extremely busy, given the crowds. The veranda is very bright, but the interior, where we had lunch, is a bit dark. The atmosphere has a slightly retro feel, full of dated or antique items, but it's pleasant and appropriate. The menu offers a wide selection, including typical local dishes, some of which are truly hard to find locally. Highly recommended!

24/12/2025: Gourmet lunch in Piedmont Beautiful setting in a small Piedmont village, with attentive and fast service. We enjoyed an aperitif, two glasses of prosecco, and were served four entrées: a chickpea cone, a savory baba, a blue cheese and hazelnut tart, and tomato chips with fresh cream and anchovies with lemon jelly. Very special. There were several tasting menus available, as well as the à la carte menu. We chose the Territory and Tradition tasting menu for €70 per person. Typical Monferrato dishes presented with care. Piedmontese Fassona tartare, rosemary and mustard, smoked egg yolk and shallots, truly excellent. Traditional plinth, roast gravy and thyme, Piedmontese fillet, celeriac, black cabbage, and Bordeaux sauce. Everything was delicious. The pre-dessert, you either love it or hate it, was a very special vinegar sorbet. The dessert: I'm not...a Bonet! Made with the ingredients of a bunet. We were served a small pastry along with coffee and four small sweets. Drinks are not included. Cover charge is €5, 75cl water €4, and we spent €208 for two. Recommended for a special occasion.

30/01/2026: This is a truly charming hotel set in the heart of the renowned Gavi wine region. Perched on a hilltop, the former noble villa has been beautifully transformed into a unique and elegant hotel. Surrounded by a beautiful park with a fountain, outdoor swimming pool, and rolling vineyards, the setting feels both peaceful and timeless. I have stayed at Relais Villa Pomela several times, in both summer and winter, and it never fails to impress. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with genuinely friendly and attentive service that makes every stay feel special. The hotel’s restaurant serves excellent Italian cuisine, refined yet authentic, and sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. Another great advantage is the proximity to the Serravalle Designer Outlet, just a five-minute drive away. For guests who prefer not to deal with parking, the hotel conveniently offers a shuttle service to and from the outlet. I can highly recommend this hotel and very much look forward to returning again.

16/02/2026: We were there for an event. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tiziana was an excellent hostess. Excellent food. Staff had nothing to say. Ample parking. Finally, it's a pleasant place and excellent for any event. I hope to return for another event.

06/01/2026: Fine dining in every way, from the service to the exquisite food! Unbeatable value for money in the "starred" league. The only drawback, in my humble opinion, is the location... a little bare and, excuse the word, a little "sad." With a few tweaks (details in the furnishings and lighting), it could gain much more value and match the top-notch cuisine! I assume the very friendly and welcoming owner will welcome you warmly and congenially, setting a less formal tone for the evening, warming up the atmosphere with her presence. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you for the lovely evening (I hope you can take my criticism of the dining room positively and perhaps make some changes to warm up the spaces and make them a little more "romantic-intimate." It wouldn't take much...). Best regards.

20/01/2026: I had lunch here with my family for my 60th birthday in December 2025. I chose a set menu with two appetizers (tartare and Jerusalem artichoke flan), a first course (Castelmagno risotto with pears), a second course (grilled sliced ​​steak), and a choice of dessert. Everything was exceptional! Superb quality and presentation! One of the best lunches in recent years. And the price was definitely in line with the quality. Highly recommended!! The dining room is very pleasant and well-kept; among other things, there's a unique view of the hills and the Alps in the distance, even though it was unfortunately cloudy that day... The owner was very kind and helpful, and the service staff was polite and professional. Only the service didn't get top marks because, as I was the birthday girl, I would have expected them to start serving the dishes with me and ask me about the wine selection (small details that would have earned the top marks). In any case, I will be back with great pleasure!

08/03/2026: We ended up here by mistake, and luckily for us, on a motorcycle tour in Casale Monferrato. We hadn't booked and it was packed, but they found us a spot at the counter, which we really enjoyed. The food was really good, and I noticed they had plenty of options even for me, a vegetarian, especially the main courses, which are rare to find. The crouton with cavolo nero, egg, and cacio e pepe fondue was absolutely delicious. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back.

23/02/2026: Soleluna's pizza is a pizza from another era. When you eat it, you can taste the benefits of the long leavening process, the top-quality flours, and Cristian's impeccable handcrafting. These are all aspects that allow you to taste how crispy on the outside and soft on the inside the pizza is. The top-quality ingredients do the rest. I personally had a pizza with spicy salami and gorgonzola (I know... it's not a protected category... but it passed the test with flying colors). The pizza is so good! Excellent beers accompany it, and homemade desserts like meringue, cheesecake, panna cotta, and traditional cakes complete the picture. That's not all: the service is punctual, attentive but never intrusive; Tushal knows how to be discreet and genuinely helpful. The enthusiasm and professionalism of Maria, who welcomed us upon arrival, only makes our return even closer. I can't wait to eat some real pizza again! Thanks to all the staff. See you soon! 08/02/2026: I ate at noon on Thursday, and the pizza was truly delicious. I called to reserve a table for 1:20 PM, since they close at 2 PM. The owner was very kind. On Friday, I called back to reserve a table, but they didn't answer. When I arrived at 1:20 PM, they told me they'd closed early and wouldn't let me have lunch. The problem, in my opinion, is that if you close early, you should at least answer the phone so customers don't waste their time.

22/02/2026: Piedmont is a region where eating well is easy, but this restaurant is truly sublime. The cuisine, largely classic Piedmontese, is top-notch in terms of authenticity, quality ingredients, and excellent presentation. The wine list is commendable, and, last but not least, the staff is exceptional in their professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness, making you feel at home in this historic location, in the heart of a beautiful town. Prices perfectly match the quality of the food and service.

27/12/2025: The high-quality bread already showed the restaurant's attention to detail, but the complimentary delicate appetizers were a pleasant surprise! The salted cod appetizer with its sauce was delicious. The main course, the assorted poached beef, was served with a pot of broth, and the attentive waitress proactively asked if we needed small bowls and spoons to enjoy the broth. A small dessert platter was even provided after the meal. Overall, the dining experience and the friendly service deserve full marks. Highly recommended! Perfect dining experience, the food was perfect and the service was amazing!

08/11/2025: Excellent restaurant! Eight of us had a menu to choose from. All the dishes were very good. The pesto-filled gnocchi remain my favorite. This is the menu we tried: Fassona Beef Tartare and Veal with Tuna Sauce Risotto with Robiola di Roccaverano, Gavi reduction Beef Cheek Braised in Gavi, Local Mashed Potatoes Creamy Cream Gelato and its Appetizers Excellent service, very pleasant atmosphere overlooking the vineyards. Extensive wine list, though missing Franciacorta and Trento DOC. The only complaint is the length of the lunch. Three hours is too long, in my opinion...

05/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2025. Nothing to complain about the service. The waiters were very kind, but the owner was a little less so; she only cares about pocketing the money. The dining room was freezing. So cold it was impossible to even eat in peace. The dishes were average, the first course was very sandy. The price was definitely quite high, and the place itself was nothing special. It definitely won't be my choice in the future.

10/02/2026: The service was great, and the food was okay overall. Unfortunately, as a steak lover, I was surprised to receive a breaded steak. It might have been my mistake, even though I had ordered a medium-rare steak. I still wasn't informed that it was a breaded steak, meaning it wasn't medium at all, but rather raw in the center. The ambiance, however, was great.
