09/11/2025: Satisfied. The food was excellent; we had ravioli del plin with meat sauce and tiramisu, which were truly delicious. Fast service, friendly staff, excellent prices. The restaurant is centrally located but on a quiet street. In the future, if we have the opportunity, we will definitely return.

15/02/2026: We'd been to the restaurant in previous years and hadn't had the best experience. For Valentine's Day, we decided to give it a second chance... terrible idea! The evening was a disaster; we waited an hour between courses, they didn't remember what menu we'd chosen, and the food was nothing special. The only positive was the beautiful dining room. When it came time to pay, we didn't even get an apology. Highly not recommended!

05/12/2025: We chose this place to celebrate my dad's birthday. The place is very welcoming and well-maintained. We had a delicious focaccia with cured meats, made in a wood-fired oven. Then we had a first course appetizer and a pizza, all excellent. Special mention goes to the chocolate cake, which was truly delicious. The waitress was very friendly, kind, and helpful. One of the best restaurants in Biella, in my opinion.

05/01/2026: A place with a homey atmosphere. We had dinner here and felt right at home. The owners were friendly and the food was excellent. We tried the gnocchi ossolani, which I recommend, and a tagliata with gorgonzola, finishing with a delicious pear and chocolate cake. A pleasant and relaxing evening.

08/03/2026: The restaurant is clean and very spacious. The waiters were helpful and knowledgeable. The food was excellent, from pizzas to main courses, from starters to appetizers. Recommended I had a great time, especially since I'm lactose intolerant. They were attentive and willing to help me.

15/03/2026: You're hungry? They have good food for you, as simple as that. There are more tables in the back of the restaurant, so it's a suitable place for groups. Staff is nice.

27/10/2025: Had dinner our first evening in Baveno…we were staying at the Hotel Dino for a conference. My daughter and I didn’t have high expectations but were rather prioritizing the convenience! We were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted and had immediate service. It was quiet as it was early by European dining standards at 7pm but over the course of our dinner filled in. We had an attentive and yummy experience. We ended the evening with their delicious tiramisu…we would return our final evening to have this dessert again!

19/01/2026: The pizza was very good, well-prepared, and a decent size. A little pricey, but considering it's a tourist spot, it's somewhat acceptable. The bison steak was good, perfectly prepared, but a bit small for the €26 price tag. The vegetables were delicious. The service was acceptable, and the place was nice. We have no complaints and would return.

18/01/2026: We booked for 7:20 PM. As soon as we arrived, we sensed a bit of a rush, but we initially ignored it. They casually threw the menus on the table, then after less than five minutes they came to take our orders, and when we showed signs of hesitation, they became impatient. The dishes were good, of course, but before we'd even finished them, they started clearing the table. While some of us hadn't even finished our food, they threw the dessert menus back at us. Then they did the same for the coffees, which they took away while we were still drinking them. Then, the icing on the cake, while I was paying, the owner spoke to his friends as if I didn't exist, saying, "Let's set the table now, the girls are leaving anyway," then turning to me, he said, "You're leaving, aren't you?" Incidentally, we'd been there for about an hour. Meanwhile, while the other people were still at the table, the owner went to the waiter and said, "Let's clear everything away, we have a table reserved, you're leaving anyway, aren't you?" Terrible experience. If you have a table at 8:30 PM, you can't accept other customers and expect them to leave after less than an hour, then kick them out, taking advantage of the fact that we're young. We won't be back.

14/12/2025: More than at the restaurant, and referring to Mr. Alessandro, who organized the lunch on December 13, 2025, a truly starvation menu for €30 per course was offered. They left a small plate to share among 10-15 people. It was a scramble to get a course. Some dishonestly asked for seconds, preventing others from eating. Those who couldn't eat asked for a course, but were denied. At the end of the lunch, a lottery was held for each number, €10, but listen, the money raised, instead of being donated to charities such as a cancer association or a Christmas lunch for those who can't afford it, was donated to the railway museum in Robilante (CN).

29/11/2025: I ate here with my grandmother for lunch. Excellent food, good ingredients, a welcoming atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and generous and tasty dishes. A great experience, highly recommended!

05/10/2025: Good pizzas, then we ordered grilled vegetables and a dessert.....the portions were very small for the price asked.

09/11/2025: We arrived after running the Lake Maggiore Marathon. Even though the kitchen was already closed (because we arrived very late), they were very kind and seated us. Friendly and excellent service, good pizza. I recommend it, we'll be back 🍕

23/09/2025: Great pizza but you can't share with your wife .... never encountered that before. You each have to order a pizza?? The quality of the pizza and the beer made us happy though.

03/01/2026: The service was extremely disappointing. We had to wait forever for water, food, and the bill… no apology, no explanation. The food was okay, but having to wait that long for it was definitely not worth it.

07/11/2025: We went for an aperitif at the Lo Scalo restaurant. It had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. We sat inside, which was well-heated, and ordered the platter of cured meats and cheeses. The flavors were excellent, authentic, and of high quality. The fried gnocco was SUPERB!!!! The seafood spaghetti was delicious, as were the fillet steak and the pizza. In short, everything was perfect. The kindness of the waiter and the sweetness of the owner were unique on Lake Maggiore. We'll gladly return to be pampered again. Highly recommended.

28/12/2025: My husband and I had dinner on Saturday evening at this elegant restaurant located in the Starhotel Majestic in Turin. The dishes we chose were excellent, both in presentation and in quality. The only flaw was the octopus, which we thought was a bit tough. The quality/price ratio was reasonable. Special thanks to our waitress, Miss Valentina D., who served us with skill and professionalism.

04/02/2026: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE IL RITROVO RESTAURANT IN PORTO EMPEDOCLE, SICILY We were immediately impressed by the warm welcome; the menu is truly inviting. The panelle and paranza pasta are truly delicious, masterfully fried; the seafood salad and fried calamari are excellent. We took the dessert home and ate it after dinner; it was excellent with toasted almonds and ricotta. Highly recommended!

10/12/2025: I'd like to respond to this review because it affects me personally. First of all, none of the three of us are minors, and you can see how seriously the place takes checking IDs. Secondly, we didn't enter the place with beers purchased from outside, but simply asked if the billiard room was free, but without going inside. When they told us we couldn't consume them inside, we replied that was fine and that we'd finish them outside before entering. From that moment on, the owner had already begun to show disrespectful behavior, probably because he had "three kids" in front of him, kicking us out of a gate where we'd stood (next to the bar) to finish our drinks. When we returned, he got angry while we were playing in the billiard room, removing the balls from the table. When we tried to say something, he started yelling (predictable from someone who drinks at work). We asked for water simply because one of us was thirsty, not to play for free, since you pay for billiards anyway, and we had paid to play. The rudeness was at its highest, and when we pointed it out to him, he came face-to-face with me, threatening me. And given that he believed one of us was a minor, I'd say this person's maturity is truly lacking. SHAME
