23/08/2025: We ate here on a Saturday for lunch. The first courses were truly delicious, worthy of the "scarpetta" (breadcrumb) and the place was lovely with a lake view. It's a shame the staff was apathetic and unsmiling (except for the lady who takes orders and works at the register, who was kind and smiling).

25/05/2025: Wir waren zweimal hier zum Abendessen. Schöne Trattoria auf einem ruhigen Platz mitten in Turin. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns einen Tisch aussuchen lassen. Das Essen war sehr gut bis auf die Gnocchi di Patate und das Brot das sehr trocken war. Die Empfehlung für einen guten Wein aus dem Piemont einen Barbera d´Alba war ausgezeichnet. Für das Essen, Nachspeise, Aperol Spritz, Wasser und Wein zahlten wir pro Person im Schnitt 37 €Tolle

19/07/2025: Abbiamo ordinato a domicilio, il cibo era buono e la consegna puntuale(nonostante l’orario di punta del sabato sera). Ottimo servizio e ben organizzato, che utilizzeremo nuovamente volentieri! Bravi! 👏🏻

07/08/2025: Well, there's not much to brag about. The value for money isn't right at all, except for the location and the meadow. We stayed there for three nights. The rooms were clean, the bed was great, but the rest is too outdated for the price. Breakfast was very meager and minimal. Food: A disgusting veal fillet! I got more dirt than meat, and it was obvious when they cleared up, but no one cared. Service: Very unpleasant during the meal, unfriendly, and completely clueless about how to serve. They sell, yes, but they have no idea what they're selling/pushing. We don't recommend this at all.

18/07/2025: We took our 4-year-old son to the doodle section, and we had a great time. They offer lots of activities, and the child was always happy to return the next day. We thank the entertainers for making this a happy experience for the child. The staff was very friendly.

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.

20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

25/05/2025: The pizza didn't thrill me, but maybe it's a matter of taste. The sparkling white wine in bulk was finished, but that could be bad luck. The staff was kind.

15/06/2025: I have had the opportunity to have lunch at this place only once... I think it's the last time. The food quality is fair. There would be a list of negatives to list but to name just a few: The lady owner. She is certainly good at welcoming customers but the management of the staff is terrible. Too rude and yells non-stop at the employees for whom I myself felt a great pity. The place is quite old and not very clean. In my opinion it is unhygienic to keep the bread in the pans on a trolley in the middle of the room on which, moreover, a fan is placed, rightly so. This place is definitely recommended to NAS!

06/08/2025: I had been to this place on Tuesday evening after years, when it was still called L'ancora.....since I no longer live in Turin, I hadn't been there again...last night, being in the city and curious about the tasting menu, we tried it...horrible in every way, dirty, smelling of old fish, appetizer not definable with melted cheese on top to cover the old first course, risotto with seafood. It didn't arrive, but a risotto with sauce and 3 shrimp arrived...frozen fried food and all without an asterisk.....old, dirty place...never again, I gave 60 euros and the waitress, after showing me the menu, kept insisting that I had made a mistake (she knows). We looked at the menu together again, which said risotto or spaghetti with seafood...I didn't say a word, paid and goodbye.....not to mention the dirty, old, strange smell.....never again I recommend that, as I've been going to restaurants for years and I'm not a pain in the ass...get rid of this type of menu...work with quality products instead With higher prices but still edible... I would never, ever, bring such disgusting food to my guests' table... And I wonder how certain customers are happy to eat like this... never again... Graziano

02/08/2025: Found by chance thanks to the good ratings on Google Maps, I highly recommend it, medium-large portions, the quality seems high to me, excellent porcini mushrooms and seafood

29/06/2025: Very hot Sunday, restaurant with outdoor seating, the owners are willing to help us with wheelchair access. We discover with pleasure that the cuisine is also Sicilian. The tagliolini with lobster are abundant, cooked just right. The fried appetizers, tasty and piping hot. The desserts made us believe we were back home. Courteous and honest. Thank you
