Old Inn In Sauze d'oulx

We dined at this restaurant twice before writing this review. The street-level ground floor is used as a bar and sandwich shop, but the lower level, used as a dining room, offers unexpected panoramic views of the valley and Mount Chaberton. The cuisine is Sardinian-inspired, with a wide selection of grilled meats. Bruschetta is offered as a pre-dinner appetizer. The best choices are the malloreddus, lamb ribs, grilled pecorino, and Florentine steak. The wine cellar is well-stocked with good Piedmontese and Sardinian wines at reasonable prices. Service is friendly and prompt. Prices are fair, especially when compared to the average restaurant in Sauze.

A wonderful discovery! A truly beautiful place, with professional and friendly staff. We ate outside on the terrace, it was spectacular!

Welcoming place, friendly and attentive staff. In the main room, there's a grill where the meat is expertly cooked to order. A wide selection on the menu, including wines. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!

Very nice steak resaturant, with a good range of pasta starters and fish. The meat is cooked in the middle of the restaurant which adds some theatre. A few of the dishes are suitable for 2 people, Chateau Briand, T-bone etc. Bruschetta on arrival with chargrilled bread was a nice touch. Would reccommend.
