07/07/2025: Heerlijke pizza, zoals een pizza moet zijn! Dunne bodem en rijkelijk belegd. Als dessert tiramisu gehad. Gewoon zalig!!

22/06/2025: Una buena comida italiana honesta a un costo razonable, con una oferta de vino sensata, es decir, tenían una carta de vinos corta pero interesante, pero también hacían vino de casa muy modesto y agradable al paladar por la jarra. Su oferta principal es pizza con varias páginas de clásicos, pero también giros modernos, y el horno de pizza está justo en su cara al entrar en este pequeño lugar tranquilo de la calle lateral. Tienen otras opciones de comida que probamos también, y una tabla de ofertas diarias. Las pizzas son tan diferentes a las versiones delgadas del Reino Unido como la masa era tan suave y deliciosa. Nos quedamos tan impresionados que comimos allí cuatro noches seguidas! El personal es genial y servicial, y el restaurante debe estar haciendo algo bien, ya que fueron embestidos cada noche que estuvimos allí.

27/10/2025: Had dinner our first evening in Baveno…we were staying at the Hotel Dino for a conference. My daughter and I didn’t have high expectations but were rather prioritizing the convenience! We were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted and had immediate service. It was quiet as it was early by European dining standards at 7pm but over the course of our dinner filled in. We had an attentive and yummy experience. We ended the evening with their delicious tiramisu…we would return our final evening to have this dessert again!

04/12/2025: An extremely negative experience: the staff was rude and incompetent, the food was expired, and hygiene was completely lacking. Furthermore, they required advance payment without guaranteeing adequate service, even sending you to the hospital. I strongly advise against this activity and urge maximum caution.

27/11/2025: I was invited to a lunch. I wasn't familiar with the place, so I'd never been. The food was excellent, all featuring the freshest seafood. We finished with the classic pears in wine, which were fantastic. I'd definitely go back, even without an invitation, but with my FAMILY.

06/12/2025: Sometimes you just find a restaurant that is great and you go back every night for dinner which is what we did. Great food great service great wine. What else could a man asked for.

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.

20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

26/10/2025: Terrible customer service. The first course arrived (only one, and there were four of us). We ordered a burger, breaded fish, a swordfish dish, and a carbonara, which never arrived because they don't even know what dishes are on the menu. Instead of apologizing, they simply justified themselves and blamed us for what we'd ordered. We ate the cold dish they brought first so we could wait for the carbonara and eat together. But the dish never arrived either.

26/10/2025: We went with local friends to eat panisha, which was truly delicious! The only shame was the wait between the appetizer and the main course was a bit long… a shame, because the porcini mushroom tart, panisha, and the dessert—I don't know what it's called, but a slice of tiramisu bread with cream and Nutella—were truly spectacular!

09/11/2025: Nothing to say about the location and products, but never order online! I purchased 3 products on November 8th for delivery on the 9th between 12 and 1:59 PM. NO ONE SHOWED UP! I contacted customer service twice and was told: I'm opening an urgent complaint, you'll receive an email shortly with the explanations of why they didn't deliver your order, NEVER RECEIVED THE EMAIL, NO ONE SHOWED UP! I asked to check who the courier was and whether it had left or not, I was told: WE HAVE NO TRACEABILITY OF THE COURIERS! ARE YOU JOKING???? YOU HAVE NO TRACE OF WHO DELIVERS YOUR ORDERS??? YOU PAID FOR NOT 2 POUNDS BY THE WAY??? YOU ARE SCANDALOUS

16/06/2025: Bel endroit , belle vue. Service aimable. Les plats sont très bien cuisinés. Je recommande , l endroit est à l écart de la foule arrivant de l embarcadère

15/06/2025: location bellissima,personale cortese e preparato, menù degustazione eccellente e dal prezzo centrato... what else? Il Belvedere si riconferma imho uno dei migliori ristoranti dell'isola.

30/11/2025: Strolling along the lake, we decided to have dinner without a reservation, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The waiter arranged a table for us within minutes. Excellent food, professional staff, but rather slow service. Excellent value for money.

07/11/2025: We went for an aperitif at the Lo Scalo restaurant. It had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and was very clean. We sat inside, which was well-heated, and ordered the platter of cured meats and cheeses. The flavors were excellent, authentic, and of high quality. The fried gnocco was SUPERB!!!! The seafood spaghetti was delicious, as were the fillet steak and the pizza. In short, everything was perfect. The kindness of the waiter and the sweetness of the owner were unique on Lake Maggiore. We'll gladly return to be pampered again. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: The rudest waiter at the entire lake, and the service was commensurate. It's actually unimaginable that when we asked for antipasti, we were shown an empty plate at the next table as a sample...

12/10/2025: Came here after leaving a nearby un-named restaurant that has a Michelin star but was super disappointing (so bad that we left that restaurant hungry). Anyways, came here afterwards for a dessert. We got the panna cotta It was delicious, service was friendly, wish we’d come here in the first place. Might come back for lunch.

22/08/2025: No desire to do their job well. They asked for an affogato, which is coffee and ice cream for those who aren't in the business like those who work at Perugina. The result was a sundae with pieces of marron glacé and ice cream: €8. Nothing to reproach them for; those who don't want to do their job should find something else.

20/07/2025: A two-flavor ice cream for €3, okay, with the opening of the tube you have to dare, but let it be two, not one and a half, because the most popular flavor is just to be tasted.

21/10/2025: We had the privilege of celebrating our wedding vows at Approdo Agareno. What can I say? Sublime ingredients, breathtaking preparation, and indescribable flavor (the octopus was exquisite, excellently prepared). They served us a top-quality wine, and the service was perfect. 21 steps from the sea? Absolutely! In fact, the sea was on your table!

23/09/2025: Splendid seaside restaurant! A rarity in Salerno! It's complemented by a menu featuring flavorful ingredients and the freshest fish, and friendly, attentive service! A month later, I still remember the flavors and atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!
