27/10/2025: La Mimosa is truly a pleasant discovery in Gallarate. The quiet and relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by pleasant jazz music, creates the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner.
The quality of the dishes is excellent, carefully crafted and in keeping with the spirit of Mediterranean cuisine, with great attention to detail.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming; special thanks to Matteo, always available and ready to offer recommendations from the extensive wine list.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent. Ideal for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends.
Highly recommended!
10/10/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and I've always had a great experience. I find it harder to find satisfaction here, where you get to see people reinventing themselves, changing, and taking on new challenges, than it is to evaluate a place you've only been to once (it's a hit or miss). Congratulations to all of you at La Mimosa for the passion and care you always put into it, and for your desire to always offer your customers something new and special.

29/07/2025: A family atmosphere and home-cooked food. Absolutely excellent value for money, both for the lunch menu and the à la carte evening menu. Alternatively, in the evening you can enjoy one of the best pizzas in the region.

10/11/2025: A splendid restaurant overlooking Lake Lugano, serving Chinese, Japanese, and Italian cuisine. Buffet appetizers and the option of fresh fish and meat cooked to order.
31/10/2025: Poor food, nonexistent "seafood" pizza, watery because everything was frozen. Service, can you give it a zero? They came by twice to ask if we'd ordered even though we'd already ordered. They left the menu card, which a "waitress" later came by to bring with an arrogance I've never seen. Customers pass behind me to get food (there's a conveyor belt with food containers, even for self-service), and I have to be careful every time so I don't fall on my head.

03/11/2025: There were 4 of us at dinner, 3 of which were different, and they arrived at the table 10 minutes after we ordered. When we asked if they were reheated and ready, we were told there were 10 chefs in the kitchen, too bad the dishes got cold after a short while!!! The icing on the cake was that we ordered coffees right afterward, and the staff kindly asked if we could leave the table in the next 10 minutes!!!!
27/10/2025: A welcoming place with young staff who make you feel at home. Truly generous and high-quality dishes. Competitive prices and delicious menu. Don't go if you're on a diet 😂
Dogs are very welcome.

Excellent choice because the pizzas, desserts, and service were fantastic.
The food was delicious, and the lady (whose name I unfortunately don't know) was disarmingly kind.
We'll be back every week!
05/09/2025: We ended up there by chance, we ate pizza and chips, rigorously peeled and fried on the spot. Excellent pizza, homemade desserts, super kind husband and wife, we will be back to try the first and second courses. Highly recommended. Well done.

05/11/2025: An experience to forget.. last night my mother, together with my aunt and two friends, came there for dinner...an experience to forget...as they ordered a plate of gnocchi with artichokes and my aunt and my mother felt sick, to the point that, when they got home, I had to give them Maalox for their stomachs...never again

04/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. The dishes are very carefully prepared and of high quality. We tried the fillet with porcini mushrooms for the first time, which was truly delicious, and then two first courses, both of which were very carefully prepared and tastefully balanced, something that's hard to find these days. The service is professional and courteous.

23/11/2025: A historic venue in the city, this interesting and meticulously maintained location blends the old and new, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The staff is always attentive and friendly.
The food is excellent in quality, with a varied menu, more than adequate portions, and selected wines.
I always enjoy returning to this elegant spot for lunch or dinner as a couple or with friends. Needless to say... try it!
23/11/2025: We had booked a week in advance through their official website and received a confirmation email, but upon arrival, we were told our reservation didn't exist.
This caused us great inconvenience, and we had a hard time finding another restaurant at the last minute, given that it was a Saturday night.
Furthermore, the waiters' behavior was unpleasant; they were unhelpful and uninterested in solving the problem.
I don't recommend it and won't return. A truly disappointing experience.

25/08/2025: If you're looking for a welcoming place to enjoy excellent wood-fired pizzas and traditional Ciociaria dishes, Mastro Geppetto is a perfect choice. The location is well-maintained and well-furnished, with a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.
The place is clean, affordable, with parking, just a short walk from Prato di Campoli in the heart of the Ernici mountains.
Recommended for everyone, especially families, with affordable prices!

14/07/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato il nostro anniversario con tutta la famiglia. Ottimo cibo, ottimo servizio, piatti abbondanti e la gentilezza della proprietaria ci lascia un bel ricordo. Poi la vista è impagabile. Ristorante che consiglio vivamente.
08/07/2025: Wir sind in Malcantone in den Ferien und waren bereits zweimal in diesem Restaurant mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Das Essen und die freundliche Bedienung haben es uns angetan. Wir werden wieder hingehen, weil es noch soviel Gutes auf der Karte hat. Top!

Il menù è interessante, la proposta varia può incontrare diverse esigenze e soddisfare tutti i palati, anche la carta dei vini è ben fornita.
Piatti gustosi e ricchi, bella la presentazione e ottimo anche il servizio.
Personale gentile e disponibile.

04/08/2025: Incuriosito dalle precedenti recensioni positive, ho voluto provare di persona il ristorante, e devo dire che mi sento di confermare le stesse, ambiente pulito, nel periodo estivo tavoli all'aperto sulla Piazzetta, altrimenti non manca una bella veranda panoramica affacciata sul Fiume Ticino, la cucina è una cucina pulita e saporita, i piatti sono cucinati con cura e un plauso in particolare alla sezione dei dolci
