02/03/2025: Finally a pizzeria (takeaway or otherwise) that maintains fair prices with an excellent quality-price ratio. The pizzas are good, light, with an "intermediate" crust, seasoned just right. The restaurant also allows on-site consumption with a dozen seats, but without table service (you are called and collect the dishes from the pizza counter and the drinks from the fridge). Excellent for a quiet dinner, in company, like in the past, before the cinema or the evening, with friends and relatives. Almost always full. A special note goes to the lady at the checkout with great kindness and friendliness, ALWAYS and at all times, even in moments of fullness and greatest stress. Attention to the customer is therefore maximum. They accept electronic meal vouchers.

03/03/2025: Very good food in our case, the pizza and the plate of cured meats but also the dishes that passed by were beautiful and fragrant. Very clean. Separate line of clean outgoing and dirty incoming seen a few times in a pizzeria. Great merit. Excellent restaurant for a pre-flight from Malpensa

18/02/2025: Excellent experience. The restaurant is tastefully furnished making the environment elegant and at the same time familiar, we also really liked the country playlist playing in the background. Excellent service and exquisite dishes.

22/03/2025: Ristorante pizzeria con una buona fama per la qualità del pesce e della pizza Sono stata estremamente delusa! Locale piccolo e rumoroso, ma soprattutto personale maleducato e addirittura volgare. Non ci si può rivolgere ai clienti sollecitando una scelta velocissima e soprattutto dicendo esplicitamente di liberare in fretta il tavolo e dicendo...finalmente!!!! quando ci siamo alzati non certo dopo ore ma dopo un'ora e mezza. Meglio forse specificare subito i tempi...concessi...e rivedere l'educazione del personale Infine la tanto decantata pizza era molliccia e mal cotta.

28/02/2025: I knew this place for some time and now I went back with friends. What can I say: it did not disappoint my expectations...in fact, after some time I found the dishes even better and with excellent raw materials. All "seasoned" by the pleasant and friendly Sala staff. I highly recommend.

06/03/2025: We had booked a B&B around the corner for the night before the flight home. By chance I saw Samarcanda on the street map. We were very lucky that there were still 2 places available. The food was fantastic. We had a classic Cabonara for starters. But the first in my life, really and not a German version. Simple dish but balanced to perfection. It was extremely tasty. For my second course I had the Argentinian steak. Bomb, even though it was already medium and I had ordered it a little juicier, it was great. My wife had a swordfish with capers, olives and tomatoes. Also class. Instead of fries, I got a side salad that seemed like something fresh from the garden. Very good. I was very satisfied and we had a really well-rounded end to our short vacation. Why I deducted a point for the ambience: it was a bit loud at times in the glass box in which we sat. The sound is hardly absorbed and distributed by the few and thin curtains. Things seemed more pleasant in the other parts of the restaurant. But I was grateful for the good food and that we even got a place because people come from all over the world to eat there again and again, the place is booming... I would like to have just as good food around the corner from my home...

02/03/2025: I ate for the first time in this restaurant with my husband and a couple of friends, they spoke so well about the pizza that we wanted to try it, and I must say that the quality of the ingredients was really good too. I took the PEAR, pear and gorgonzola, and I had to say that my husband had a Florentine steak with spinach and gorgonzola in tomato, very good... that was also very good. Prices more than fair.

28/12/2024: Recommended by friends, I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant. Everything "Perfect", from the appetizers, to the first courses, to the second courses and desserts. Excellent raw materials expertly crafted, truly beautiful and inviting dishes. Well done! Really extensive and quality wine list.

19/12/2024: We came with two kids and ordered two antipasti and four primi piatti as a light lunch. After we finished eating the starter we had to wait around 45min until the pasta arrived. We were one of the first ones to enter the restaurant. Before we got our pasta at almost all the tables the main course was served already. It was totally obvious that our order for the primi piatti got forgotten/lost. This can happen, but when I told  the waiter that we waited extremely long his reaction was absolutely unacceptable. Instead of some words of excuse he reacted irritated with a "what is your problem" expression on his face. Service failures like that can't happen during a light lunch with two glasses of wine and two kids for 180€. Food was in general ok but overpriced. I complained to the restaurant via email 6 weeks ago to give them a chance for an apology before writing this review and did not receive any answer. Hence, I guess this one star rating is well deserved.

22/03/2025: Really good pizza, only flaw, but it's a personal taste, the edge filled only with mozzarella is a bit heavy. The restaurant is also excellent and the staff is very polite.
