10/03/2024: Restaurant in the center of the city of Somma Lombardo. The interior is very nice, with exposed bricks and an enchanting environment. Very attentive service and high level cuisine. The owner, Mr. Paolo with his wife, manages everything impeccably: he is always very helpful, kind and professional. Absolutely recommended location. To try!

06/04/2024: Very characteristic, beautiful, intimate environment. The staff were really prepared and kind. The particular customer care is noticeable. There were two of us, delicious food, normal portions. Price appropriate for the food and the place. We will be back.

The food is so delicious. Specially,the risotto.

Always varied menu and helpful staff.
24/03/2024: To celebrate the first Sunday of spring after weeks of rain, and finding ourselves in Somma Lombardo, we decide to try our luck at this restaurant. But it was a better decision!
🏠 LOCAL | a classic restaurant with warm interiors that recalls the legendary Lombard trattorias of the past. Simple, direct but welcoming.
🚶♂ PERSONAL | the staff is all female and both the owner and the waitress did not skimp on smiles or advice. We also found an incredible speed in serving. We weren't in a hurry, but it's always nice not to wait in vain.
👨🍳 COOKING | incredible Lombard cuisine with some experimentation here and there. We threw ourselves on the carbonara with truffle (one of the best things I've ever tasted), an elephant's ear, a tiramisu and the classic glasses of wine. We really liked everything and promised ourselves we would try the rest too!
💶 ACCOUNT | 2 of us paid just over 25 euros each, a super honest bill for the quality of the food brought. on the table.

13/08/2023: Mi trovo a Gallarate in un'afosa giornata di agosto alla disperata ricerca di un ristorante.
Purtroppo tutti quelli che vedo sono chiusi.
“Saracinesca selvaggia !” penso tra me e me.
Incredibilmente vedo un vigile urbano, che mi appare come un miraggio in questo calderone estivo. Chiedo a lui.
“Oggi ci sono aperti solo alcuni bar che fanno anche dei piattini al microonde” mi risponde.
“ Ma io desidererei un pranzo tradizionale” replico (visto che paga la Ditta!)
“Allora le consiglio il ristorante Monnalisa dell'Hotel Tre Leoni sul viale della stazione di di Somma Lombardo; sono solo 8 km da qui.”
Penso maliziosamente: “Sarà sicuramente suo cugino!” però decido di azzardare.
Raggiungo il luogo e devo ricredermi.
C'è un salone con almeno ottanta coperti; tovaglie e tovaglioli di stoffa, sedute comode anche se un po' datate e arredo tradizionale e dignitoso.
C'è sia il menu fisso di lavoro sia alla carta, con ampia scelta sia di terra sia di mare.
Inoltre è anche pizzeria.
Prezzi onesti.
Non sto a descrivere il menu che ho consumato ma confermo la dritta del viglie.
Pienamente soddisfatto.
Parlando col gestore, peraltro gentilissimo, apprendo che lavora come hotel più che altro con i passaggi da Malpensa.
Molti arrivano qui col treno dormono una notte e raggiungono l'aeroporto che dista 7 km col pulmino dell'albergo.
