Absolutely delightful. A local spot somewhere in the mountains near Como. The lunches are fantastic, inexpensive, and delicious. Fully booked for weekend dinners. Large portions, plenty of meat and seafood, generous portions. Fast service. Friendly staff.

The restaurant is quite traditional, and there are two large parking lots in front of the restaurant and on the street, although it was still difficult to find parking on a Saturday. We started right off with the first courses: taglioni with squid ink and shrimp tails, pappardelle with blueberry and wild boar ragù, and the off-menu pumpkin and zucchini gnocchi; all three were delicious, with generous portions and plenty of toppings. For the second courses, we split the sea bass fillet with vegetables and the Westphalian-style venison: there were also two fillets and the venison was probably 3 or 4 ounces, and everything was delicious, nothing to complain about. We were so full we didn't even have time for dessert. The value for money was absolutely excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I recommend booking a few days in advance if you're going on the weekend.

Authentic and generous. A local restaurant frequented by residents (and probably those from the surrounding area!) with delicious, home-style cooking. Excellent value for money. Italy as you imagine it.
