09/10/2025: Congratulations, the food was very good, the service excellent. The seafood risotto was delicious, and congratulations on the kindness of the initial gocaccia, with a drizzle of Ligurian olive oil it was fabulous. The sgabei with the cold cuts were very healthy.

21/09/2025: Evening of September 21, 25. We're about to enter and the waitress points to two tables to choose from. A man, I assume the owner, interrupts, desperate for attention. He tells me everything is already full and booked (I see two out of three tables free). Then he starts joking about everyone's physical characteristics. I ask him: "Will you make us pizza in the end or not?" With a smug expression, he peremptorily points to a table that isn't one of the two the waitress indicated. Almost as if he were offering us charity! I signal to my wife for us to leave. The guy stammers that he was joking. "No, dear, learn to behave and then we'll see." For the record: just a few steps away we find another pizzeria where we were very happy.

26/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem for Family Dining! We stumbled upon this lovely traditional family restaurant through our travels, and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — the kind of place where you can relax and truly enjoy a meal with loved ones. The menu had a great variety of classic dishes, all clearly made with care and authentic flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the Tiramisu was the absolute highlight — hands down one of the best we've ever had! Light, creamy, perfectly balanced… it was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a cozy, family-run spot with amazing food and a relaxed vibe, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

20/09/2025: It really should be 6 stars! The concept is absolutely extraordinary – for us, in the best possible way! There's a surprise menu, where you have to choose the basic dish (meat or fish +/- vegetarian) in advance, and the chef then buys specially for that. Some of the ingredients come fresh from the garden. The food was simply perfect in every aspect (freshness, taste, appearance, quantity, etc.). You can feel the joy and the hosts' own standards. The atmosphere is informal and very warm. The location is a bit off the beaten track and very stylish. We had the perfect menu, including dessert and a digestif, and an unforgettable evening! Thanks a million and see you soon!

06/10/2025: Comment on our stay at the Grand Hotel Savoia in Genoa. We spent two very pleasant nights at the Grand Hotel Savoia in Genoa, a splendid establishment where we fully appreciated the comfort of the premises, the quality of the services, and the varied and generous breakfast. The welcome and attentiveness of the staff deserve to be highlighted. We also took advantage of the proximity of the hotel's two restaurants, Tralalêro and Salgari, where we dined back-to-back. Unfortunately, our culinary experiences at both establishments did not live up to the hotel's standards. At Tralalêro, all dishes were served on cold plates, which detracted from the enjoyment of the dishes. Furthermore, a dish of bacalao, clearly too cold, seemed fresh from the refrigerator and had to be returned to the kitchen. At Salgari, the situation was similar: cold plates and an interminable wait for six seafood risottos, which were ultimately served barely warm, even though there were only a dozen guests in the room. To our surprise, the risotto was an unappealing turquoise blue, garnished with a few mussels and topped with a shrimp covered in sun-dried tomato skin. We would like to point out that these comments are made in a constructive spirit. It would be helpful to inform the kitchen teams at these two restaurants that guests are provided with a warming tray at breakfast, proof that it is entirely possible to serve food at a suitable temperature in this high-end establishment. Aside from these culinary disappointments, our stay at the Grand Hotel Savoia will remain a very pleasant memory, and we hope that these observations will help further improve the quality of the guest experience.

05/10/2025: Very easy to access by car. Valet parking for €28. Barely more expensive than a local parking lot. And you can leave your car keys there with complete confidence. Very well-located hotel. For three days we explored the city on foot. Only praise for everything. The welcome, the kindness of the staff, the comfort of the room. I highly recommend it.

02/11/2025: A quick business lunch, they offer two set menus, one featuring seafood and one featuring meat. You can also choose à la carte. The owner is very helpful and quick. Good food, without being too pretentious. It's a small place, so I recommend making a reservation.

14/10/2025: Stayed this summer, a charming place with meticulous attention to detail, a suite with a sea-view hot tub and breathtaking views. The breakfasts were generous and made with freshly picked produce. Kudos to Manuela, who took such great care of us. The garden is very well-kept; these past few days we've seen the passion of the gardener, a charming man with a Tuscan accent. In short, a place to unwind and be pampered by nature, relaxation, and Manuela's attention. Highly recommended!

Since dear Aldo recommended it to my beloved better half and I, we spent a long time in La Spezia two years ago, and we returned to this place if not every day, at least every other day. Both in 2024 and this year, this restaurant was our greatest joy during our stay in this most wonderful of all lands. From the smiling, cheerful, and very helpful girls, to the truly exquisite, charming, delicious, and indescribably perfect food, to the fair, low, and excellent prices, and finally to the owner who, although often very tired, always smiled, always had a kind word for us as guests, and, above all, the best thing was that he helped the waitresses with their work. I have no words to describe Pulcinella, because it will be a place that will forever be associated with the happiest days of my life. Although I am Polish, I am actually still Italian at heart, and while I am learning this most wonderful of languages ​​and burning with an immense love for all of Italy, it is precisely here, at the Pulcinella Restaurant, that I have found such fair prices and such exquisite food that it is difficult for me to find the words to describe them. In the two years that I have been returning here in August, I have never, and I mean never, been disappointed by the quality of this magnificent restaurant. Whether my sweetheart and I ordered pizza, fried seafood, pasta dishes, appetizers, or anything else, everything was always truly delicious, aromatic, and wonderful. The lovely waitresses, though always busy, were cheerful and helpful; despite the undeniable strain of serving such a large number of customers, they were always kind and courteous. Finally, the owner himself, who also took our orders and helped the waitresses with their work—you could see the tiredness in his eyes, you could see the strain of serving such a large number of customers—always found a kind word, always asked if everything was okay, and was always available and courteous. I won't dwell on the food because that's evidenced by the fact that it's not tourists who come here, but mostly local Italians, and even though I'm not Italian, I'm already becoming one in heart and soul. Whatever I ordered here, it was always delicious and aromatic; the pizzas were hot, the pasta portions were truly generous, and you could easily fill your stomach. The aromas and flavors of the food were on par with the most expensive restaurants in the region. I bow to the owners for their honesty regarding prices and the quality of the food offered by the restaurant. It's a very rare thing for restaurants to be so wonderful and at the same time so excellent in terms of prices. ​I won't mention the prices because in a time when everything is getting more expensive and when restaurants are truly becoming tourist traps and charging truly huge amounts for everything, Pulcinella is an oasis of honesty and fantastic prices for every budget, even our most modest. ​I can say without exaggeration that I simply love this restaurant and hope to see you again in August, or perhaps I'll live in La Spezia with my sweetheart and come to you every day. We love Liguria and the city of La Spezia so much! This restaurant should be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it is truly heavenly, divine, paradisiacal, and wonderful.
