They offer high-quality drinks crafted with skill and expertise, as well as an excellent selection of wines and proseccos. Not only that, they also offer non-alcoholic drinks made with the "zero" version of the most famous spirits. Delicious cuisine is an excellent accompaniment! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A place worth trying! Excellent!

31/08/2025: I'd like to give 10 stars, but I can't. First of all, I'm very hard to please. However, I ate very well at this restaurant. I had octopus and potatoes and a truly exceptional stuffed pasta with scallops. My daughter also ordered a stuffed pasta with polenta and Montasio cheese with calamari sauce. Both entrees were delicious. It was recommended to me, and I was truly amazed by the quality and presentation. The price was reasonable, and you're truly happy to spend it. Highly recommended.

21/06/2025: Short cut Good potatoes Very good parmigiana Too bad about the bad experience with the meat, unfortunately it went a bit too far in conservation... It's not the first time that it happens to me in different places, I've always eaten meat and I know it well. It's not a question of aging or particular flavor of foreign meats, but rather of poorly preserved meat. Strong smell also felt at the next table, the diners at the table turn around and confirm that their meat (different cut) had the same smell and flavor. Obviously, as every time I kindly point it out, we are told that it is the type of meat... basically, the same story everywhere... more cuts of different types had the taste and smell of rotten meat... but oh well, maybe I'm crazy... To be precise, we are talking about the Brazilian cut that was supposed to be accompanied by Palmito... of which not even a shadow... Bread missing... Too bad because the fillet with truffle and the parmigiana are worth it, ruining yourself like this is a shame In the meantime, I'm walking around Gaeta at midnight looking for an open pizzeria after a day of fasting...

07/09/2025: My boyfriend and I were there last night. I'll start by saying I'm celiac, and he ate the gluten-free dishes with me. They're very accommodating for celiac disease, which is a plus. For our appetizer, we ordered a typical Gaeta dish: the calamari votipiatto. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients: the small, soft, melt-in-the-mouth calamari, and the crunchy texture provided by the flour (I think rice flour) contributed to the dish's success. We enjoyed it with their homemade gluten-free bread; the texture was more like focaccia, almost spongy, but perfect for eating the small calamari. For our first course, we ordered "il follaro," thick spaghetti with pistachio cream and swordfish. There was a small mistake when ordering because the waitress was about to bring us the dish with gluten, but, unsure, she quickly realized it and fixed it by having the first course prepared gluten-free. We were only informed afterwards that the gluten-free version of this dish doesn't have spaghetti, but pennette, and I think it would be nicer if they'd presented the available gluten-free pasta shapes first. In any case, the pistachio cream is homemade and very balanced, enhancing the flavor of the swordfish. The fish was fresh, flavorful, and tender. For our second course, we ordered the fried cod fillet with hummus. The fish was also fresh, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The frying was very light, and the hummus wasn't particularly impressive in terms of flavor and texture. Overall, a good dish, but I wouldn't order it again simply to make room for other courses that, in our opinion, deserve more. For dessert, we had a vanilla custard garnished with berries, meringues, and a black cherry syrup. It was a pleasant way to end the meal, but I wouldn't have used the syrup, as it overshadowed the delicate flavor of the custard. The service was quite good, despite it being a Saturday night and therefore a bit crowded. We'd especially like to thank Stella (the chef's sister), who was very kind and professional. The final bill, including a couple of glasses of wine, was slightly above average but nothing outrageous, especially considering the quality of the fish, which, based on what we tasted, was quite high. I think we'd also love to return in the future to try the tiella (a typical Gaeta dish), which they obviously also make gluten-free.

24/08/2025: What can I say? The dishes we ordered were worth the wait. The mixed fried food served in a crispy, non-greasy cuoppo, the rice ball and pasta frittata were excellent. The first courses were served in a pan, so you could taste all the flavors of the various ingredients. The only flaw, for my taste, was that the pasta was a little undercooked. The girl serving us was quick and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our dishes. I recommend reserving a table since there aren't many.

The staff was exceptional, friendly, and immediately helpful. Every corner of the place is meticulously designed, making it a place we'll definitely return to and one I'd recommend to anyone looking for a special evening, good food, and excellent beer.

24/08/2025: A historic restaurant in old Gaeta, tucked away in a small internal square. Exquisite food and local ingredients. Their signature dish, the calamari, is a must-try. Also try the sautéed truffles and the octopus alla Luciana. The waiter Franco is an institution, courteous and professional. The prices are fair, the tables are beautifully set and have tablecloths. The trattoria has been there since 1920... and it will stay that way because it's one of the best restaurants in Gaeta. It's not a tourist spot; it's for locals who love good food.

01/08/2025: Pranzo oggi in questo storico locale di gaeta vecchia. Due primi uno vongole e l altro gamberoni buonissimi segue una frittura di calamari ed una frittura di alici con insalata buon vino ed acqua. Grazie siete sempre una garanzia!

23/08/2025: A very nice restaurant overlooking the Gaeta sea, run by courteous, friendly, and super-efficient staff. We were served immediately, and the wait was very short. We ordered two fixed-price fish menus, including an appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, dessert, and drinks. The dishes were generous and traditionally prepared, and everything was delicious.

03/09/2025: A rip-off, cover charge €3 per person, 75ml water €3.50. I ordered mozzarella that was passed off as buffalo mozzarella, and I've been recovering from a stomach ache for two days. Almost €60 for two courses. Avoid.

28/07/2025: I ordered the seafood pasta, grilled seafood platter, and a risotto. The seafood pasta and mussels were excellent, especially the mussels which seem to be a specialty here. But the grilled seafood was overcooked; the fish skin was so burnt it was inedible. The place has a charming local atmosphere, plenty of parking and the servers can communicate in english.

12/08/2025: A traditional restaurant where you can also dine outside to enjoy Gaeta's traditional dishes. The real delicacy is the calamari soup. It's a bit pricey, but since it's a generous portion, it's enough for two.
