11/11/2025: I work in the area but haven't been there in a while. Today I found a bar... almost abandoned, with a messy bar counter... full of brochures and papers... (I don't think it's ideal for breakfast...). The croissants were very limited and, as a sign posted on the counter stated, defrosted. The coffee shop was very average (burnt coffee and caffe latte without foam... served lukewarm...). So: we're not there... we're not there across the board. This isn't meant to be a disgrace, but rather an invitation to do better. I fully understand that it's not easy to run a business, but there are offices in the area... I think a little effort and investment could benefit everyone (customers, managers, etc.).

08/10/2025: A half-hour wait for the most tasteless spaghetti with tomato sauce I can remember. They were passing off dried-up sandwich bread scraps as a basket of bread. Never again.

19/12/2025: croissant for 1.6 euros and coffee for 2

05/10/2025: We had pizzas for dinner at the campsite restaurant because we were tired. They were good, but nothing special.

10/11/2025: They charged me for 3 beers when I only had 2. I didn't say anything out of politeness. Honestly, it was very expensive.

02/10/2025: I wanted to grab a bite to eat and the only option was this place being that there are no other restaurants near the hotel. The food was not fresh and my soup tasted like it came straight from a can. When I entered, I was not greeted and I had to ask where I could sit. After I sat down I waited several minutes while I watched the entire staff look at me and no one brought menus, water or anything. Meanwhile, I noticed that they quickly assisted other guests who came in after me. I had to get up from my seat to ask to be served. After I received my dish, no one ever came to the table to make sure everything was ok, but again I noticed that other patrons were being attended to often. Upon leaving there was no thank you, goodbye or any acknowledgement. Seems as though the staff at this restaurant has some prejudice against people of color. After staying a few days at The Westin Excelsior where the service was absolutely impeccable to experiencing this was extremely disappointing. I will never visit again and will advise others the same.

20/09/2025: The restaurant at the Marriott hotel has very little choice on the menu. Dinner was exclusively for hotel guests, many of them wearing shorts and flip-flops. Honestly, I felt a little uncomfortable. I don't understand why they open the restaurant to outsiders.

02/09/2025: A very well-kept and clean bar, with very friendly staff, a place that can be compared to an exclusive lounge bar. The only downside is that they no longer offer food or aperitifs with platters, but otherwise everything is truly excellent.

04/11/2025: Convenient and beautiful location, friendly staff, and excellent food. The only flaw, if you can call it that, is that it's always fully booked, but that's a sign of the quality. The prices are a bit high, but they're in proportion to the quality. The portions are generous. We'll be back.

05/10/2025: Good evening, I tried this seaside restaurant and my rating is very poor... I ordered two first courses... for €18.00 each and they arrived served with papalina-style dishes... the pasta arrived cold and raw. They actually brought a huge bowl for the mussel shells. There were two of them on my plate... I repeat, two!! Incredible... in the end, €50.00 was two strands of cold, raw pasta topped with pieces of fish.

01/09/2025: A fantastic little gem we stumbled across. We were a family of 13 and were seated straight away. Advice to non-Italian speakers: there's no 'menu' per se, but we were served unlimited pizzas of the chef's choice until we were full, and then a pasta of our choice. If you want a specific topping or dish, the staff did what they could to accommodate the request. We didn't quite get it at first, but ended up leaving stuffed and keen to return! The food was superb – we had a range of vegetarian and meat pizzas plus incredible authentic carbonara. Service was casual but welcoming and homely. The family clearly take a lot of pride in their establishment. The views over Itri were stunning, truly the standout of the location. Highly recommended!

17/11/2025: Our safe place. The old grotto has been delighting us with its specialties for years... thanks to Ernesto, who is always available and attentive to his customers, it's as if he were welcoming us into his home every time... the pizza is truly delicious, as only you know how, and the place is very well-kept, welcoming, and charming... I recommend everyone to come here...

20/10/2025: We ordered the burrata dish with prosciutto. The portion of ham was quite small compared to the amount of burrata, which made the dish feel unbalanced. What really affected the experience, was the atmosphere. The staff kept looking at us in a way that made us feel rushed. As soon as my partner took the last bite, the plate was taken away while we were still chewing. Overall, the food was fine, but the service made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

06/11/2025: I always thought it was a bar, in fact I used to go there for an aperitif, but today I discovered they also serve food... I had a soup of mussels from Lake Paola, "excellent!" Affordable prices and excellent products! The quality/price ratio is excellent! Congratulations!!

23/11/2025: A historic Roman trattoria and osteria serving traditional dishes, the owner, Loreto, sadly passed away several months ago, and with his death the restaurant ceased operations.

23/08/2025: The best trattoria in Rome, just like it used to be. Traditional Roman dishes, generous portions, cooked with skill and love by the great Loreto. Thank you for the wonderful stories you told me, which I could still hear while you were telling them, and I watched you in amazement, and for the evenings spent at the restaurant with my family. 15/08/2025: Terrifying experience. We ordered from a truly incompetent waiter who not only completely forgot to take our order to the kitchen, but also started chatting around the tables. When we asked, "What about our seafood salad?" he replied, annoyed, "You have to wait until it's cooked." Truly incompetent. Luckily, a lady noticed us, otherwise we wouldn't have eaten. The first courses were awful: overcooked, bland pasta with little sauce, rubbery, inedible fried food, not to mention the chicory covered in oil. The prices were ridiculous for the service. I don't understand the such positive reviews for a place like this. I wouldn't recommend it; I'd rather go to a trattoria.
