23/03/2026: Restaurant inside the Mercure Rome Fiumicino hotel. Spacious atmosphere and average menu. Amatriciana and cacio e pepe are perhaps a little lighter in flavor than true Roman tradition. The restaurant also offers pizza. Courteous and helpful staff. Good coffee and a friendly and helpful barista.

04/05/2026: We went to this restaurant today and ordered à la carte steak, which is sold by the 100 grams. At no point were we told the weight of the meat, which seemed strange, but okay. We went to pay the bill; there were almost 3 kilos of meat, but it didn't even weigh 1.5 kilos, not to mention the bone was huge. We complained, and they got angry. To avoid problems, we paid and left. If we had checked their reputation on Google, we wouldn't have fallen for it. It's a shame we didn't think of that beforehand!

03/05/2026: Well, just really mediocre, the food was bad and the orange juice was also too sweet and way too watery.

18/05/2026: Disastrous!!! A meat lasagna that only had béchamel sauce and wafers...the meat wasn't even there. They charged us for a service charge that wasn't listed anywhere. We asked for an explanation, and they threw the menu on the table where the service charge was hidden (on the dessert page at the very bottom), not where you'd normally look first, on the main menu. When you try to talk to them, they pretend not to understand the language, but they clearly understood the order...AVOID EATING THERE!

02/04/2026: The food was okay, but unfortunately the worst we ate in Rome. We didn't even get a glass for our Coke. The atmosphere wasn't particularly nice either, and the service was very unmotivated. We waited 15 minutes before we could order drinks. At least the Aperol Spritz was good.

20/11/2025: Scam with Aperol Spritz prices - they promote it’s 4,90 EUR takeaway, but then they charge you 9,50 EUR for having it there. Aperol Spritz doesn’t appear in their menu, so we expected to be charged the same price as they promote for take away.

07/06/2026: Can you do zero? Outrageous prices, chaotic, dirty, staff who serve without gloves, eat and drink, and then serve tables without washing their hands. The ordering system is chaotic, confusing takeout dishes with those ordered at the table, creating enormous chaos among customers and staff. Extremely slow in everything, pizzas as flat as Conad piadinas. Terrible fried food.

06/06/2026: Considering we're in Santa Marinella, on the most famous beach, I expected something more. The service is buffet-style, and you have to make reservations at the cashier, then pick them up and sit at one of the free tables. The quality of the food was good, but a capricciosa, as I requested, was similar to a vegetarian one. The supplì were good, as were the flowers. The price was definitely high for a buffet.

22/05/2026: The food was delicious, but the portions were very small compared to the price. The meatballs in tomato sauce were very tasty, but there were only four for €13.

12/10/2025: Surreal experience: we called to reserve a table for 15 at 11:00 PM on a Saturday night, and they confirmed we could eat. Ignoring the fact that half the dishes on the menu weren't available, we ordered drinks and, after being brought a few beers and five bottles of water, we were told they'd run out of water for the evening (12:00 AM on a Saturday night). We'd ordered a few portions of chicken nuggets, and what we received were inedible chicken strips (left there after just one taste), undercooked chicken, and rancid meat. The best part was the sandwiches, since as soon as the first three arrived (we'd ordered 15), we noticed that the bun was burnt, the bacon wasn't bacon, and, most importantly, that the burger had been cut horizontally and was COLD. Given the situation, we decided to pay and get up without having barely touched any food, and without the staff apologizing or saying a word about what had happened. I think it would have been enough to communicate that they didn't have the resources/staff necessary to provide dinner (and water). I've never had an experience like this before, so if you're thinking of stopping by for a bite to eat, it's definitely worth avoiding.

12/10/2025: On Saturday night, 15 of us sat down, ready for a quiet evening with friends... and instead, we found ourselves in a nightmare. We started ordering drinks: they didn't have still water, only sparkling water. That says it all. Okay, we adjusted and ordered 10 bottles of sparkling water. After a few minutes, the waitress returned to tell us that... they'd run out of that too. We ordered beers: we asked the same waitress for Weiss. After two minutes, the owner appeared to inform us that they'd never had Weiss. Perfect, by now we should have figured out where we'd ended up. Let's move on to the food: "Kitchen Nightmare" quality, and that's not just a figure of speech. All the fried foods on the menu were "unavailable" because—in their own words—"we removed the fryer, now we use the air fryer." Perhaps to save on electricity. We then ordered some fried chicken strips (so to speak). After an hour of waiting, they arrive: sour, inedible. The sandwiches are burnt, with bacon that probably went bad, and the meat seems to have been shared between multiple sandwiches. The quality of the food was simply disgraceful, and the kitchen management is appalling. At that point, we decide to get up and leave without touching practically anything. They also charge us 10 euros each without having eaten practically anything. And, as if that weren't enough, we see the uneaten sandwiches being set aside as if they intend to reuse them in the future. A place like this shouldn't even open its doors to the public. Zero organization, food worthy of criticism, and management that's embarrassing to say the least. I've never had an experience like this. But the final gem... they had a DJ playing outside... there wasn't any still water, but there was a DJ.
