30/01/2026: My wife and I were here last Tuesday and... we had a really good time. Delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, table near the large fireplace. I realized late that I paid for a side dish... I hope you'll deduct it next time, otherwise, tip. :-) The garden overlooking the lake is also large and beautiful.

26/04/2025: This review refers to the new management. The place was recommended by a friend who clearly didn't know about it. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience, especially considering it's under new management. I should have taken a photo of my plate of gricia, which left me speechless: the portion was ridiculously small. The lemon scallops were inedible, and it hadn't happened to me in a long time to not be able to eat anything. The grilled vegetables were bland. And then the baked potatoes, which were evidently sold out: they arrived too few, and to compensate, they filled the gap with French fries, without any explanation, without an apology that would have been at least a sign of goodwill. The coffee was undrinkable. The bread was dry. But the worst thing of all was seeing a mother—I assume the owner, to whom the new place has been dedicated, "Rea Silvia" (the restaurant's new name)—being mistreated by her son, who would yell at her among the tables and customers, perhaps thinking he was better than her. Of all the things, this was the worst and saddest. My sympathy goes to the lady who's the only redeeming feature of this place because she was so kind. Yet she also gets the bill wrong, and not just with us (other customers had complaints). We only found out the price of the dishes at the end because there was no menu, and, to top it all off, you could only pay in cash, which is truly unacceptable. €27 for nothing. €12 for a non-existent gricia. I hope these criticisms help you improve, since you're just starting out, because you can't treat customers like this and expect to be paid, and even that much.

14/01/2026: This restaurant offers ample seating, with outdoor tables sheltered by a glass canopy. Excellent service and a good selection of lunch and dinner dishes are available at the bar. Paid parking is available in the adjacent building.

02/10/2025: I wanted to grab a bite to eat and the only option was this place being that there are no other restaurants near the hotel. The food was not fresh and my soup tasted like it came straight from a can. When I entered, I was not greeted and I had to ask where I could sit. After I sat down I waited several minutes while I watched the entire staff look at me and no one brought menus, water or anything. Meanwhile, I noticed that they quickly assisted other guests who came in after me. I had to get up from my seat to ask to be served. After I received my dish, no one ever came to the table to make sure everything was ok, but again I noticed that other patrons were being attended to often. Upon leaving there was no thank you, goodbye or any acknowledgement. Seems as though the staff at this restaurant has some prejudice against people of color. After staying a few days at The Westin Excelsior where the service was absolutely impeccable to experiencing this was extremely disappointing. I will never visit again and will advise others the same.

01/09/2025: A fantastic little gem we stumbled across. We were a family of 13 and were seated straight away. Advice to non-Italian speakers: there's no 'menu' per se, but we were served unlimited pizzas of the chef's choice until we were full, and then a pasta of our choice. If you want a specific topping or dish, the staff did what they could to accommodate the request. We didn't quite get it at first, but ended up leaving stuffed and keen to return! The food was superb – we had a range of vegetarian and meat pizzas plus incredible authentic carbonara. Service was casual but welcoming and homely. The family clearly take a lot of pride in their establishment. The views over Itri were stunning, truly the standout of the location. Highly recommended!

The steak is served already sliced ​​into strips on a hot cast-iron plate – so it's already well done before you even take the first bite, instead of being medium. We've eaten much better in Rome for significantly less money.

30/01/2026: I went with my family for dinner. The occasion was my son's birthday, but we were actually looking for a quiet place to spend a peaceful evening. We walked in and were immediately greeted by smiling faces and extremely friendly staff. A warm, welcoming atmosphere, where we ate wonderfully. The dishes were delicious, original, and beautifully presented. We'll definitely be back, perhaps in the warmer weather so we can also enjoy the garden. 05/10/2025: Very unserious, the prices differ from what they listed on the menu, you order something and you get the same dish twice without any explanation, if you try to show them, they say that's what you ordered,.....it's not worth eating at that location.

04/10/2025: They managed to ruin a perfect evening!!! The story in short: this is a restaurant where you will be scammed by the staff. The employees' attitude is deplorable, and the QR code menu provided is specially designed to inflate the bill. Terrible food Terrible staff Do not recommend!!!

22/03/2026: A disastrous experience from start to finish. My son and I ordered at the same time, but of course, our dishes didn't arrive together. I was served first, and my son 20 minutes later. As a result, I was eating cold food while he was barely starting. So much for a "family moment"... But the worst part was what came next: I'd barely left the restaurant when I had severe stomach pains and diarrhea. Thanks for the food poisoning. Disorganized service, questionable quality... honestly, avoid at all costs.

22/03/2026: It's a place that offers everything: a pastry shop, pizzeria, restaurant, and bar. The place is quaint: very beautiful 1950s-60s decor. We had breakfast: mediocre croissants, excellent coffee. Very friendly service. Low prices.
