25/11/2025: The food was well-cooked, touristy but not overly so, the selection wide but not overwhelming, the prices reasonable for the portions, the staff efficient and friendly. Overall, everything was good... but paying €9 for a half-empty glass (two fingers) of Chianti seems like a rip-off. There wasn't a "glass" option on the menu; I asked if it was possible, and they said yes. It's my fault for not asking the price (in fact, I paid without complaining), but it's still a rip-off.

21/11/2025: We walked quite a way before deciding to go in here. The restaurant is very cozy and has lovely old-fashioned decor. I'd like to mention first that the portions are good and the food is very tasty; our compliments to the chef. What we didn't like was the waiter's service; he wasn't friendly and treated us differently compared to the regular customers, whom he was very nice to. I imagine he was judging who would spend more and who wouldn't, which is a shame. We didn't feel like trying the desserts...

05/10/2025: Very unserious, the prices differ from what they listed on the menu, you order something and you get the same dish twice without any explanation, if you try to show them, they say that's what you ordered,.....it's not worth eating at that location.

04/10/2025: They managed to ruin a perfect evening!!! The story in short: this is a restaurant where you will be scammed by the staff. The employees' attitude is deplorable, and the QR code menu provided is specially designed to inflate the bill. Terrible food Terrible staff Do not recommend!!!

19/11/2025: A place near where I'm staying. The waitresses have a vibe similar to the hairdresser friend from Legally Blonde. The blonde one is very friendly, but she brought me two pizzas when I asked for one. Anyway, they were good, and the Aperol was stronger than a mother's love, but tolerable for those of us who don't drink.

27/06/2025: Restaurante muy céntrico, bueno para probar la comida local. Nada de lo que quejarse pero, al mismo tiempo, nada es sobresaliente. Aún así, una buena opción si quieres probar la comida local.

08/12/2025: The bar is excellent and the desserts are good. A pleasant place with one rule that makes it unpleasant: dogs are not allowed. I believe it's the only bar in Europe with this medieval rule, which in 32 years of dog-friendly dining I've never encountered. For those without dogs, it's still a nice place.

01/12/2025: Inexplicably escorted out of the place because we were in the company of our little dog. Recent decision, dogs are no longer allowed in the place... and we left, Rome is full of excellent bars.

14/11/2025: The casual and slightly dated atmosphere is a bit daunting at first, but then the kindness and expertise of the waiter and the delicious food give way to culinary satisfaction. I recommend the Vitale risotto for those who want a traditional seafood risotto, and the fried calamari and shrimp are perfectly tender and crispy. It may not be a gourmet restaurant, but the food is good, and the kindness of the staff is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend it.

08/10/2025: A historic restaurant in Civitavecchia where you can eat well and affordably. The staff is very friendly. The pizza is also very good.

11/10/2025: Avocado toast without avocado is a first! We received toast with eggs and a so-called avocado cream that tasted like peas. People seemed to prefer sweet things, so maybe you'll be less disappointed with this option. We were also served two fruit juices even though we only ordered one; we kept it anyway since it was good. I don't know if it was a tourist scam to bring two and therefore increase the bill, but be careful.

28/10/2025: Extremely disappointed with our breakfast. We ordered two dishes, omelette with smoked salmon and omelette with mushroom and ham, and both were terrible. The omelettes were overcooked, dry, and rubbery, completely lacking the soft and creamy texture you expect. The smoked salmon and ham did not taste fresh and seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The only decent item was a single piece of plain toasted bread. Definitely not worth the visit.

26/10/2025: Don’t bother with this place. It is a tourist trap. It has a cozy and inviting atmosphere and the waitress was attentive and nice. The food was terrible, though. The omelette with smoked salmon was legitimately the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. It has an oddly chewy texture that I suspect was from microwaving or reheating the eggs. The smoked salmon was shredded and kind of sprinkled on top. This was accompanied by half a piece of dry toast. No sauces, butter or jam was given with the meal. Just chewy over salted eggs with sprinkling of smoked salmon and dry toast. My daughter ordered pancakes and they were better but had the taste of a premade mix. The juice was good, the coffee was ok. They get two stars for atmosphere and the waitress. Go elsewhere for food.

20/10/2025: I didn't think I'd write a review, but now... I've never eaten such good pasta dishes as at Baita, and the pizza was fantastic. I went there several times during my stay in Rome and will definitely be back. My sincere compliments. Here! Take that change! And remember: what doesn't choke, gets fat... and I'm fat.

18/11/2025: The staff was very friendly, the location beautiful, but the food was a shame. We were a table of nine, so there were more dishes. The focaccia and pizza were very good, but the cooked food was less so. The pasta was undercooked, the gnocchi were not of the highest quality, the arrosticini were not good, and the burgers were equally bad. I recommend the pizza and focaccia; we didn't like the rest.

18/11/2025: We went on Saturday night for pizza. Even though there were a lot of people and there were 9 of us, they served us so quickly I didn't expect it! Compliments to the waiters! The pizza and fried foods were good, but the best were the desserts. The atmosphere was very well-kept with very cute interior lighting. Outside there are also animals, goats and donkeys in their pens. During the day, the outside is definitely more appreciated!

10/09/2025: Il Sogno del Mare is always a guarantee. Update 09.10.2025 Everything was perfect, from the food to the service, from the staff to the professional and friendly owners. This time we enjoyed appetizers of shrimp tartare with stracciatella and black truffle bubbles, scampi tartare with pine nuts and lime zest, and fried baby octopus and anchovies. For the first course, an excellent Vesuvius pasta with bacon, prawns, and pecorino cheese. All accompanied by a "mio deserto Bastia" prosecco from Valdobbiadene, with a fine perlage and a pleasantly fruity aroma. To finish, chocolates and a good Mantovani "Caramel Salato" liqueur. A good value. Truly a Dream.........of the Sea as a restaurant and beach resort Update June 25, 2020 Everything has remained the same as in previous years: the welcome, service, quality of cuisine, and professionalism, naturally excellent. Now, in this particular moment, it's worth highlighting the compliance with coronavirus safety regulations. P.S.: Today, a very pleasant surprise, aside from the excellent appetizers, was the spaghetti with freshly caught local clams with a unique flavor. Must try

15/11/2025: Book in advance. The place is msily attended by locals and offers an amazing exoerience of an upscale italism music party night. Food was excellent and drinks were super.

15/06/2025: Not far from Spanish steps in the small street , very cute restaurant with indoor & outdoor sitting . Excellent Italian food , good quality fresh and tasty . Good wine choices . Really worth to try it .
