16/07/2023: Some of the best pizzas we have ever had. The atmosphere is spectacular. The location. The ambient music. The table setting, and the decorations. It all ads up to a very delightful place, where you feel relaxed and welcome. The owner (who does not speak much english), and the waiter where extremely welcoming, and pleasent. To the point where the language barrier became a source of entertainment, rather than an obstacle. Nothing was misunderstood. We felt very welcome, and appreciated. The food was amazing. And the fact that it did not come flying out the kitchen, tells me it was made fresh from scratch, and not typical "turist" fast-food. We did not mind waiting a bit, in this beautiful place. The drinks came right away, and the wine was great. The pizzas where standout. Truly some of the best we have ever had. We recommend the potato and pickled onion pizza. Wow! The place is always packed full of locals. Which tells you all you need to know. We experienced Jopolo as a bit of a quiet town. And finding such a great local restaurant, was an unexpected joy. This was better than any restaurant we visited in Tropea, Capo Vaticano, Pizzo or Reggio Calabria. And it was right in our "backyard". If you are ever in Jopolo, do yourself the favor of visiting this hidden gem <3
