23/01/2026: A place for meeting and relaxation. This bar is a great place to be.

28/10/2025: A neighborhood hotspot. Breakfast and lunch (including BBQ!), and fantastic aperitifs at reasonable prices for the area. Friendly and helpful staff.

16/01/2026: We arrived at this place past 11PM on a normal weekday in January and they did welcome us without any hesitation. The whole menu was available to order, no closed kitchen excuse. They didn't rush us to eat or leave quick, even though we were the last table. The food was really good and fulfilling. They deserved a 5* until I saw a surcharge on the bill at the end that they removed when I requested. We already pay coperto, so why the extra? It would be better to avoid these things.

11/10/2025: I have to say it was a negative experience. It's a neighborhood pizzeria that also offers food. The place is very simple with modern, basic furnishings, but the downside is the service. Even though there aren't many customers, the wait for a simple pizza was excruciating. I thought it was an isolated incident, but over time it turned out to be a regular occurrence... pure slowness. The pizzeria is completely disconnected from the restaurant, and those sitting down have to wait forever to get a pizza. Those who want takeout pizza have an even worse experience... endless waits, with pizzas being put in insulated containers while they wait for all the orders to match. The result is that one pizza comes out of the oven and is put on hold, then other pizzas come out and go to the tables, then other pizzas come out and go to the delivery men, then other pizzas come out to complete the initial order from 20 minutes earlier... total chaos! You end up with freshly baked pizzas, some in insulated containers, and some cold ones that have been sitting there for who knows how long. I've never seen such poor, inaccurate, slow service. Despite all this, if you're lucky enough to have everything go smoothly and get a hot pizza, the quality isn't bad. You have the option of choosing between Neapolitan or Roman pizza, and the prices aren't in line with the context.

28/01/2026: I saw your blog and asked you a question... It was so delicious... Why do you blog... I ate at Bonggol Chucheon... It was really tasteless and the cutlet was so-so. I got a birthday present. I ordered a pasta, a large beer, and it came to 85,000 won including tax. Later, the employee tried to appease me... I was so dumbfounded that I had to leave.

24/01/2026: My friend and I came here on Wednesday 21st January 26. We enjoyed the food, and hospitality from the staff. We both had lasagne and chips , my friend had a beer i had house wine. Felt so at ease and had no complaints whatsoever we came back the next night and ate here again. Both had a lovely pizza each was filling and couldn't eat it all, it wasnt a problem and they gave us a takeaway box. 😋 I would recommend this resturante, and wouldn't hesitate to come here if ever i find myself in Rome again .

02/05/2025: From the online menu to the actual menu there is nothing.......you have misleading advertising.....the only good thing is the meat, the shameful first courses, the cacio e pepe seems like pasta with butter.....never again 😡😡

26/04/2025: Food not up to par with the menu. The menu doesn't match the one on the website. Poor dishes; the cacio e pepe was just buttered pasta. The fried food consisted of 6 squid rings and 2 tentacles. Many dishes on the menu were unavailable. Not recommended.

13/01/2026: It felt like walking into a museum ✨ As a foreigner, I thought I might face discrimination because it’s such a classy place, but the staff were incredibly welcoming ✨ There was an older gentleman (no offense meant, I forgot his name 😭) who was exceptionally kind. I’ve honestly never met such a generous Italian person! He definitely deserves a promotion, haha! And of course, the food was great 👍🏻

11/01/2026: Yes! Go! First it’s so unique and different to be surrounded by huge ancient statues while you’re having dinner AND the food was amazing! I got the pasta with the buffalo and basil. Perfect in the summer because the mozzarella cools down each bite in a perfect way. Tiramisu was the best I’ve had in Italy

06/01/2026: The welcome is warm and the food is certainly above average. Service is friendly and fast, and the wine list is well-researched (a sparkling wine aperitif with "maredivino" is highly recommended). Among the many tourist restaurants, this is certainly one of the few that stands out.

21/02/2026: Great restaurant. I booked it ahead of my trip. Amazing view of the Colosseum, it was definitely worth it. It can get fully booked because of the view, so I recommend reserving in advance. Nice atmosphere. I loved it!

04/02/2026: The owner should thank God she's a TV/film set designer and is able to keep this acquired restaurant afloat, thanks to her primary job, built on connections. Today's Rocco lives on the ashes of the old Rocco, a true Roman trattoria in the center, serving traditional dishes. Today, the set designer has redecorated the place with a pop vibe, serving boiled meatballs in tzatiky sauce... The typical Roman tzatiky! They're constantly sulking, making you feel bad about eating there unless you're an acquaintance or a fan. The closing times are clearly unclear; they do as they please; at home you can do as you please, not in a place open to the public. Failed across the board.

14/12/2025: They have no idea what hospitality and culinary culture are. They're servile (not hospitable) only if you're wearing the right amount of gold. They have the approach of the scammy grocers of a century ago. I won't be returning. Also because they made me feel so bad about being alone at the table.
