12/06/2026: Major shortcomings for a "4-star" hotel The location of the hotel is good, but unfortunately it is also the only positive thing along with one specific person on the staff. The hotel is marketed as 4-star, but by Swedish standards it is at most a 2-star standard. * **Emanuel at the reception:** The absolute only person in the entire hotel who was empathetic, friendly and professional. A fantastically nice person who made our children feel genuinely welcome. Location: The hotel is well located. The negatives and shortcomings: Poor service: The woman who owned or was the manager of the hotel had no sense of service at all. You almost felt you owed her money just by existing, which created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Worn out and in great need of renovation: The hotel is very old and worn out. There are broken tiles on the floors and the wallpaper has seen its best days. Dangerous bunk bed (disaster): The children's bunk bed was extremely small and so unstable that I was terrified that the children would fall out and hurt themselves. One of the children ended up sleeping on a mattress directly on the floor for safety reasons. Poor service: You only got one door key to the room, which is very impractical for a family. Hidden/extra costs: Despite the good location, nothing is included on the beach. You have to pay an extra €14 per day for a parasol and two sun loungers. **Summary:** We can go as far as to give the hotel 2 stars overall, and that's only because of Emanuel's fantastic service. We won't be back.

30/05/2025: December 31, 2022. Spending New Year's here with my ex-girlfriend; it's almost been three years. The steak was delicious, and the waiter's enthusiastic explanation of the wine and steak was excellent. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Italy.

We ordered a quick lunch here with two drinks and nearly finished our food before the drinks ever came out (25+ minutes). The sandwich ingredients were fine but the bread was terrible and stale, ended up just picking out the ingredients and leaving the bread. I’d definitely skip this place.

13/07/2026: The waiters are very rude and don't know how to speak properly. Prices are above average due to its location in the square. However, the quality is below average.

13/07/2026: Came for the famous Tartufo. It was good - rich and complex chocolate. Everything on the menu is very pricey though. Fun to people watch and listen to musicians sitting at the tables on the square, and very close to one of the fountains with the Egyptian obelisk.

05/05/2026: Delicious pizzas! I personally found them exquisite. I ate dinner in the small indoor dining room since it was raining outside, but when the weather was nice, I saw they have plenty of outdoor tables. It's located in the historic center.
