29/08/2025: Truly impeccable beach resort! A well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and well-organized facility. The establishment is elegant yet welcoming, with well-spaced loungers and umbrellas that ensure relaxation and privacy. The friendly and helpful staff are always ready to accommodate guests' needs. The sea is spectacular, with clear water that makes the day even more enjoyable. The food service is excellent, with fresh, tasty dishes. The additional amenities are also much appreciated: hot showers and comfortable changing rooms make the experience even more comfortable. A place we always choose with great pleasure, and one that represents a guarantee for us in Sperlonga. Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: Very beautiful and panoramic place, unfortunately we found that there is a lack of organization, takeaway pizzas, they said that they cannot be heated, without an electric plate like all bars, bottled water 0.33 paid 1.50 euros large bottle only at the table not sellable, spaghetti on a plate 20 euros there was a forkful, the owner very arrogant with the customers, to take a hot shower you have to get the card paying for it and a feat...... cold you pay 0.50, so I give one star

14/03/2026: SCAM! We went for an aperitif and they charged us €12 for each Spritz. They ask if you want ham and cheese, and you say yes, thinking it's part of the aperitif, but it's not. They charged us €9 for a focaccia we hadn't ordered and €18 for a charcuterie board (supposedly sliced ​​and of dubious quality). Plus, a €7.50 service charge, which makes no sense for an aperitif. In short, we paid almost €40 more just for ordering the aperitif.

16/01/2026: We arrived at this place past 11PM on a normal weekday in January and they did welcome us without any hesitation. The whole menu was available to order, no closed kitchen excuse. They didn't rush us to eat or leave quick, even though we were the last table. The food was really good and fulfilling. They deserved a 5* until I saw a surcharge on the bill at the end that they removed when I requested. We already pay coperto, so why the extra? It would be better to avoid these things.

14/01/2026: A nice restaurant in the city center with character! Nice food, nothing too special, but we liked what we got. Some small communication problems with the service, and the fact that the toilet was not very clean (it was clogged) influenced my review

23/03/2026: It's completely changed. Now, since March 15, it's a restaurant with a seafood-only menu, although the pizzeria has been retained, but with the wood-fired oven conveniently hidden from the dining room, so its aromas (and the comings and goings of takeout customers) don't blend in with the diners seated at the tables. The color scheme is remarkable: a deep baby blue for the walls and a vibrant orange for the upholstery of the chairs at the outdoor tables, for which the restaurant benefits from a large garden area that can be covered if necessary. We ate: I had an excellent amberjack carpaccio and a sea bass stew; my wife had sea bass ravioli and a tuna tataki. There's a wide selection of wines, but we'll have to return for that.

01/03/2026: I give a star to everything, but I wouldn't even give that because the place doesn't qualify in my opinion. Terrible experience. Ignorant waiters, saying the food was awful is a compliment. Full of people, an absurd overcrowding of people, absolutely unthinkable. Never again!

25/10/2025: Unfortunately our food wasn't anything special, the Cabonarra was really greasy and didn't look appealing either, sorry, and the pizza was okay but so thin. The atmosphere was really nice, we sat outside even though there was a paper tablecloth it was totally fine, the staff were nice and friendly, you have to admit that.

07/03/2026: Excellent modern Italian cooking together with a first rate wine list in a very pleasant surroundings. Top quality service from friendly but unintrusive staff. A real find - would thoroughly recommend.

21/02/2026: €111 for three glasses of wine, a Coke, and four appetizers at the chef's discretion (that's how the staff described the aperitif to us). There's no menu and only one wine to choose from by the glass. I won't add anything else.

14/03/2026: Excellent location overlooking the Colosseum and the gladiator area, very friendly and attentive staff, really good cocktails. The pinacoteca served to me was of the highest quality, comparable to the excellent ones in California. Well done!

09/03/2026: A unique location, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staff, an experience worth repeating and one I highly recommend. Guests, as they should be everywhere, are pampered here and can simply enjoy the view and a good drink in peace. There were two of us, two drinks each, and we spent €115—a ridiculously low price for the experience and the view alone.

13/01/2026: It felt like walking into a museum ✨ As a foreigner, I thought I might face discrimination because it’s such a classy place, but the staff were incredibly welcoming ✨ There was an older gentleman (no offense meant, I forgot his name 😭) who was exceptionally kind. I’ve honestly never met such a generous Italian person! He definitely deserves a promotion, haha! And of course, the food was great 👍🏻

11/01/2026: Yes! Go! First it’s so unique and different to be surrounded by huge ancient statues while you’re having dinner AND the food was amazing! I got the pasta with the buffalo and basil. Perfect in the summer because the mozzarella cools down each bite in a perfect way. Tiramisu was the best I’ve had in Italy

30/05/2025: December 31, 2022. Spending New Year's here with my ex-girlfriend; it's almost been three years. The steak was delicious, and the waiter's enthusiastic explanation of the wine and steak was excellent. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Italy.

11/03/2026: The room on the eighth floor was a disaster. Above us was the restaurant where tables and chairs were dragged across the floor every evening until after midnight and again from 7 a.m. onwards. Inconsiderate. So loud that we either woke up or couldn't sleep. The room was old and run-down! The walls were partially dirty, and one electrical outlet was even charred. Corners and edges were chipped and patched up haphazardly. The bathroom door was just a glass door you could lean against. The bathtub had a mixing valve for the hot and cold water. No shower rod. Annoying shower curtains. High step-in. Not exactly safe. The back wall of the bathroom was a frosted glass partition facing the room. Great! Very strange. Like it had been added later. Not a double bed as described, but two single beds. We didn't like that. But we accepted it. No hotel information in the room. An uncomfortable office chair with wheels was in the room. No armchairs or chairs. No shelves in the bathroom by the bathtub (you didn't know where to put your own toiletries) or around the sink. No German channels on TV. Mirroring German channels from my phone didn't work either; the phone was too old. Some of the light switches were purely decorative. The room was definitely not worth the "stars" it received! It's nowhere near comparable to German standards. Breakfast was okay. We missed having baguettes or toast. Lots of sweets, but that's typical for Italy. Otherwise, it was alright. The staff varied greatly. Some were efficient, others just wanted to be left alone. At checkout, they didn't ask us if we had enjoyed our stay or anything like that, but they wanted €10 per person per day in tourist tax. Ridiculous for such a run-down town. Let the tourists pay for it. In short: we can't recommend this hotel. The price/performance ratio is terrible. My voucher, which I "won" at reception when I checked in (it was some kind of internal perk), was stolen from my room. What a shame! The only positive thing was perhaps the location. Relatively central, but we don't really have anything to compare it to.

10/03/2026: "I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Hotel La Griffe. After leaving our luggage in the luggage room, on the staff's recommendation, one of my personal belongings was stolen. Since then, despite our repeated requests, the hotel has provided no concrete answers. They keep passing the buck, and we are left without support or compensation. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel, as the customer service has been completely inadequate."
