15/08/2025: Terrifying experience. We ordered from a truly incompetent waiter who not only completely forgot to take our order to the kitchen, but also started chatting around the tables. When we asked, "What about our seafood salad?" he replied, annoyed, "You have to wait until it's cooked." Truly incompetent. Luckily, a lady noticed us, otherwise we wouldn't have eaten. The first courses were awful: overcooked, bland pasta with little sauce, rubbery, inedible fried food, not to mention the chicory covered in oil. The prices were ridiculous for the service. I don't understand the such positive reviews for a place like this. I wouldn't recommend it; I'd rather go to a trattoria.

08/11/2025: The mussels with pepper sauce and the seafood first course were delicious. The waiters were very kind, and the setting was splendid, right by the sea and overlooking the boats. Highly recommended!

Super friendly waiters
08/11/2025: 15 euro for 2 average pistachio croissants and 2 regular cappuccinos. Switched the prices when we questioned the high charge too. Had the cheek to ask for a tip for counter service too. Wouldn’t recommend.

07/12/2025: What can I say! I've come here 1 or 2 times in the evening and I've always paid €8 for drinks. Today I came to have a simple drink that cost €10, not even in Prati does it cost that much, and with things bought from Conad, zero quality, never again.

10/05/2025: Esperienza orrenda, netto peggioramento rispetto ad anni fa. Servizio pessimo, tempi di attesa indecenti (40 min per l’antipasto, oltre un’ora per il primo), porzioni ridicole ma non discuteremo di questo. Abbiamo aspettato tanto perché c’era il pienone? Assolutamente no, oltre al nostro tavolo (4 persone) ce ne era un’altro da due. Antipasti tutti uguali, per il primo 3 uguali e uno solo diverso. Ci hanno spacciato i prodotti come prima qualità, ma una crema di scampi per nulla diversa da quella che puoi trovare al supermercato. Non torneremo mai più. Fatevi un favore, mangiate altrove

I loved the seafood pasta dinner, the appetizer, and the ice cream and tiramisu dessert… Franco was very professional, polite, and smiling; honestly, the best waiter and service I've ever experienced. I recommend him to everyone. It's absolutely worth the price. Thank you again.
05/12/2025: My carbonara wasn’t just swimming in sauce it was drowning in it. Plus the sauce was not equal to others I have had. I love CARBONARA but this wouldn’t make my top ten list. The waiter was nice. He did ask me why I hand eaten the bacon. Well, it just wasn’t right for me. You on the other hand might like it. They had indoor and outdoor seating. The hostess was nice. They did have a nice wine selection.
The name IL VINETO means the vineyard.

23/08/2025: The best trattoria in Rome, just like it used to be. Traditional Roman dishes, generous portions, cooked with skill and love by the great Loreto. Thank you for the wonderful stories you told me, which I could still hear while you were telling them, and I watched you in amazement, and for the evenings spent at the restaurant with my family. I will remember you with that calm and strength that distinguished you when you were working. I'm watching you from down here. Bye Lorè, kisses.

04/09/2025: Welcoming staff, but the quality was truly poor. The calamari appetizer was decent. The first courses were very elaborate and didn't bring out the flavor of the fish. The fried fish was awful and blatantly frozen. There were four of us: two appetizers, four first courses, one fried fish, and one dessert, four bottles of water, and one white wine (a satirical one), for the modest sum of €60 per person. I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be returning.
01/09/2025: When we're in Ponza, we never miss an evening on Gennarino's splendid terrace. A welcoming, family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. Try the new summer dish, Pasta alla Gennarino!
Prices are in line with the location. Highly recommended.

12/05/2025: Negli anni ci sono stata più volte e mi è sempre piaciuto, ieri sono rimasta molto delusa. Servizio totalmente disorganizzato: i camerieri che non sapevano dove portare i piatti, il vino l’abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte e dopo aver chiesto di metterlo in ghiaccio non è stato fatto. Abbiamo preso i primi di pesce che erano un lago di olio all’aglio e basta (allego foto di quelli che dovevano essere spaghetti con vongole).
Mi dispiace molto, ma è un grande no.
12/05/2025: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante per cena. Già all' entrata ci siamo trovati molto bene, il posto è luminoso e molto accogliente. Gli ordini sono arrivati e subito e nonostante abbiamo ordinato 5 piatti diversi, ce li hanno portati tutti insieme. I camerieri sono molto gentili e il cibo è molto buono. Consiglio.

23/08/2025: At almost 8 a.m., the counter was completely empty, with no sweet or savory options. My partner, to avoid waiting too long, had to settle for a vegan croissant, while I opted for a simple coffee, since there was nothing savory available. Furthermore, the prices seemed a bit high for the quality of service. Truly disappointing, I'll never come back. For me, it's a complete no-no.
