11/11/2025: I work in the area but haven't been there in a while. Today I found a bar... almost abandoned, with a messy bar counter... full of brochures and papers... (I don't think it's ideal for breakfast...). The croissants were very limited and, as a sign posted on the counter stated, defrosted. The coffee shop was very average (burnt coffee and caffe latte without foam... served lukewarm...). So: we're not there... we're not there across the board. This isn't meant to be a disgrace, but rather an invitation to do better. I fully understand that it's not easy to run a business, but there are offices in the area... I think a little effort and investment could benefit everyone (customers, managers, etc.).

08/10/2025: A half-hour wait for the most tasteless spaghetti with tomato sauce I can remember. They were passing off dried-up sandwich bread scraps as a basket of bread. Never again.

23/11/2025: A historic Roman trattoria and osteria serving traditional dishes, the owner, Loreto, sadly passed away several months ago, and with his death the restaurant ceased operations.

Thank you for the wonderful stories you told me, which I could still hear while you were telling them, and I watched you in amazement, and for the evenings spent at the restaurant with my family. 28/10/2025: The experience at the facility was decidedly below expectations, but above all, below the asking price. From the moment we arrived, there was an air of annoying arrogance, a classist and prejudiced attitude that shouldn't be found in those who call themselves "high-end hospitality." The beach, despite its location, is rather anonymous: ordinary loungers and umbrellas, strictly cold showers, and small, neglected, and poorly maintained restrooms. Nothing that evoked the luxury or attention to detail one might expect. We were greeted by a lifeguard with an inquisitive approach, who—even though we had just passed through the checkout—suspiciously stopped us to "verify the reservation." His "And you? What are you doing here?" will remain a memorable example of how not to approach customers. But in this regard, the most emblematic episode of the entire day occurred while attempting to have lunch: when we asked for a table, the manager (or so-called manager) pointed us with obvious insistence toward the kiosk/bar, emphasizing that the restaurant only served fish. A clarification as obvious as it was superfluous, since it was precisely that menu that had attracted us. We responded politely, specifying not only that we were aware of it, but also that we were fully aware of the average expected cost. I find it disconcerting—and downright vulgar—to have to justify one's presence based on one's spending power. In the end, we were assigned a table, as if it were a concession and not a service. All around us, empty tables remained throughout the meal. The waiter completed the picture with an unfortunate remark: "I guess you don't drink wine." A quip in questionable taste, perhaps appropriate for any ordinary tavern. For the record: we ordered two glasses of Prosecco, two first courses (spaghetti allo scoglio and linguine with clams and bottarga), water, and two desserts. Total: €120. The dishes were good, no doubt, but nothing memorable, much less justifiable on a financial level, especially considering the hasty, unrefined service, clearly influenced by a superficial judgment of our identity. It's clear that Saporetti is a place where you can be both a stepchild and a stepchild. If you want to feel challenged, looked down upon, and treated with (undeserved!) snobbery, this is a five-star place.

24/10/2025: Restaurant by the sea, nothing to complain about the food and the service but some prices of some dishes should be revised downwards because 35 euros for a plate of spaghetti with clams and especially 5 euros for a litre of water seem really excessive to me.

28/10/2025: A neighborhood hotspot. Breakfast and lunch (including BBQ!), and fantastic aperitifs at reasonable prices for the area. Friendly and helpful staff.

11/01/2026: I'm a regular at Ristorante Mediterraneo in Gaeta, and each time it confirms its excellence: delicious dishes and top-quality fresh ingredients, especially fish and Mediterranean specialties. It's undoubtedly the best restaurant in town, and I recommend it to everyone! The location is also charming, overlooking the sea with breathtaking views of the harbor and the promenade, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. It's easily accessible by car thanks to nearby street and dedicated parking. I recommend trying the lemon linguine; it's truly delicious!

15/01/2026: A very bad experience at this hotel. The room was in poor condition with a window overlooking an internal staircase, offering no possibility of proper ventilation. The air conditioning in the room didn't work, despite our requests to the staff. The toilet also didn't flush. Aside from the hotel's location, it really doesn't deserve the stars it has received.

09/01/2026: Excellent stay at La Griffe Hotel in Rome. The room was very comfortable, perfectly clean, with high-quality bedding and impeccable linens. Everything is well-maintained, making for a truly pleasant stay after a day of sightseeing. The hotel also has a rooftop restaurant, for which reservations are essential. The experience rivals that of a top-notch restaurant, both in terms of the quality of the food and the exceptional setting. A huge plus: the kindness of all the staff. The team is attentive, available, very professional, and always smiling, which makes all the difference. The breakfast included in our stay was perfect: fresh, varied products with an excellent balance of sweet and savory options, something to satisfy every taste. Finally, the hotel is ideally located near the Repubblica metro station, making it very easy to get to the main attractions such as the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain.
