17/04/2025: Simpatico locale con spazio esterno, veranda ben arredata e interno attrezzato con bar e pedana per musica dal vivo; gradito il guardaroba gratuito, ottima l’apericena con fritti croccanti e serviti caldi, salumi, formaggi, latticini e pasta al dente e ben condita; lascia a desiderare il piatto troppo piccolo e la forchetta di legno che….non prende nulla, soprattutto perchè all’interno non c’era un posto dove appoggiarsi per mangiare.

14/04/2025: Mi trovo a Roma e, sedotto da uno sconto offerto da una nota applicazione di prenotazioni, ne faccio una per le 20.00. Mi presento in orario. All'ingresso, nessuno ci viene incontro ma vedo una catenella. Da fuori, vedo di tavoli e qualcuno già seduto. Mi sembra quasi un ambiente da discoteca più che da ristorante, anche se l'assenza di musica alta non corrobora la mia sensazione. Bella situazione, penso. Molto originale.   Poiché vedo gente all'interno e nessuno si avvicina, sposto la catenella. Mentre faccio ciò,  sopraggiunge dalla strada un ragazzo. È chiaro che debba entrare anche lui quindi gli reggo la catenella, come gesto di cortesia e gli chiedo se effettivamente deve entrare. Lui conferma, entra, si rivolge ad un ragazzo coi capelli ricci e gli fa notare che la catenella è stata appena spostata. Il ragazzo coi capelli ricci si infastidisce non poco,  e si giustifica dicendo: "la gente vede la catena e la sposta lo stesso." Chiedo al ragazzo coi ricci se potevamo entrare e lui,  infastidito,  risponde che se avessimo avuto una prenotazione avremmo potuto farlo, facendolo apparire come una connessione e non come un diritto.  Gli rispondo di avere la sensazione di dare fastidio,  mi "complimento" con loro e vado via.  Ho dovuto  trovare un posto libero, a Roma, di domenica sera, senza prenotazione e cenare altrove con ulteriore esborso di soldi (avrei avuto più interesse a sfruttare il promesso 30% di sconto offerto dall'app con cui avevo prenotato). Ciò che mi è successo, non mi è mai accaduto in vita mia e non sono affatto uno sofosticato che vuole camminare sul tappeto rosso. Sarà il miglior posto di Roma ma, mi raccomando, anche se arrivate in orario, non spostate quella catenella. Restate in certosina attesa. Forse qualcuno verrà a chiedere che fate su una strada in cui c'è solo quel locale

17/02/2025: Fantastico! Ieri ho portato un gruppo a mangiare... Servizio superveloce, ambiente molto confortevole arricchito da un bellissimo forno a legna che non faceva altro che tirar fuori carne alla brace (si sentiva un profumino), i camerieri amichevoli e sempre sorridenti per non parlare del proprietario alla mano!

01/09/2025: A fantastic little gem we stumbled across. We were a family of 13 and were seated straight away. Advice to non-Italian speakers: there's no 'menu' per se, but we were served unlimited pizzas of the chef's choice until we were full, and then a pasta of our choice. If you want a specific topping or dish, the staff did what they could to accommodate the request. We didn't quite get it at first, but ended up leaving stuffed and keen to return! The food was superb – we had a range of vegetarian and meat pizzas plus incredible authentic carbonara. Service was casual but welcoming and homely. The family clearly take a lot of pride in their establishment. The views over Itri were stunning, truly the standout of the location. Highly recommended!

10/10/2025: We ordered 2 pizzas, a portion of pasta, and a portion of lasagna, 3 colas and a beer 94.3 euros, initially the price was 10 euros more, they wanted to stuff 4 portions of bread down our throats, the waiter asked us if we wanted bread and we said no... He came with bread in a paper bag and put it on our table, later he put it on our bill, 8.8 euros for bread and 11 euros for the service, I told them that we would not pay for the bread because I clearly said we did not want it, and they changed the bill... The service was bad, they slammed my portion of pasta... The waiters were looking at us in a bad way...

15/09/2025: Terrible experience. Just one person forced to do everything: set the table, clear it, take orders, and wait at the tables. Plus, she was loudly humiliated in front of the customers, shouting, "Hurry up and come here." For me, respect for staff and customers comes first, and it was completely lacking here. We waited over an hour: first we were told we could choose two different types of pasta (out of three available first courses), then we were told the chef would only accept one because "otherwise he'd go crazy." The menu wasn't written anywhere: it was just recited to us (three first courses, three second courses, and only a side of cherry tomatoes), yet in the end we saw platters being brought out that hadn't even been offered to us. The water arrived after 40 minutes. The place has potential, but it's terribly managed. The bathroom was disgusting; even washing my hands made me feel disgusted. In the end, when we decided to leave without eating, they even told us they'd already set the table. The table settings, yes, were rustic, but stripped down to the bare minimum: paper placemats, bagged steel cutlery, and a glass. "What a big effort." The only positive note was the lady in the dining room, who wasn't to blame: she did her best, constantly rushing around. But the management is embarrassing. Never again.

14/09/2025: We arrived at 1:15 PM, and by 1:55 PM, we hadn't even been served bread. Certainly not the fault of the poor waitress, forced to manage all the tables alone, but rather the total lack of organization and rudeness of the chef/owner, who instead of working simply berated her in front of the customers. There were no paper menus, no prices displayed: the only way to know what was available was to quickly hear it from the waitress when ordering, without having the slightest time to decide. We ordered three pennettes with asparagus and guanciale and two amatriciana pastas, but after more than 20 minutes, we were informed that it wasn't possible to have two different types of pasta: you had to order them all the same. Absurd and ridiculous. After an hour of waiting, the only thing that arrived at the table was water. We got up without eating anything, paying only for that. An experience to forget. A place like this should be avoided at all costs. Zero organization, zero respect, zero professionalism. Never again, not even for free. And above all: no playing with food.

05/10/2025: My sandwich was great! My husband got a croissant which he enjoyed. Service was okay understanding how and when to pay was a bit confusing but we got the hang of it happy to be in Rome. Ciao a

31/07/2025: 👌 Perfect, super good food, now a go-to place to eat. Super low prices, with €10 or less you're full. The menu has many choices and there aren't just sandwiches but also burritos and hot dogs, and of course, the tasty treats too.

I must also compliment Cristiano for his kindness and hospitality. I will definitely be back, especially since after today's experience, it has become my go-to seafood restaurant! Thank you so much.

01/03/2025: Posto accogliente elegantemente semplice, ci si sente a casa, Francesca fantastica, gentile, educata, sempre disponibile a scambiare due parole e due battute . Pietanze sempre ottime ben cucinate, saporite, buone materie prime, prezzo assolutamente accessibile e adeguato alla proposta culinaria. Ci siamo stati diverse volte e una o due volte al mese siamo lì, ci abbiamo portato amici facendo un ottima figura, sono rimasti tutti soddisfatti, continueremo ad andare con grande piacere.

22/05/2025: Two of us went for lunch today. Very quiet, just us and one other person. Good and friendly service. The place was great. We ordered water, a salad, carbonara pasta, garlic and cayenne pasta, and a homemade tiramisu to share. Good. The tiramisu was very sweet for me, but I prefer savory food. The service was fast, helpful, and pleasant. It cost us €30. The only drawback: They don't accept credit cards.

14/04/2025: Just steps from Piazza Fiume, a place to share at Via Lucania 11a between Via Sicilia and Via Calabria. Delicious pizzas made with quality ingredients that evoke the ancient flavors of times gone by. The restaurant offers a wide selection of Roman dishes on the menu. In a gastronomic landscape that increasingly pushes diners to discover sometimes unthinkable combinations, tradition prevails here, and succeeds very well. The host is truly the guardian of our taste. The pizzas are excellent, and perhaps this is one of the few restaurants that still makes them Roman-style—hurray!—that is, thin and light, making you want to ask for seconds while remaining highly digestible. The classic and timeless tomato bruschetta is delicious, as is the focaccia with Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella. The zucchini flower pizza with anchovies is simply irresistible, tasty, and cooked to perfection. Tiramisu is exceptional; I've never had such a good meal in a restaurant. A welcoming atmosphere with industrial touches, fast and attentive service. Absolutely fair prices; time has stood still at Via Lucania 11a, and so have we.
