18/12/2025: The place itself is nice, but the service leaves much to be desired. As soon as we walked in, a waitress didn't even give us time to take off our coats when she came to ask us what we wanted to drink, and continued to cause anxiety throughout the evening, literally clearing our plates away from us without even asking. The head waiter, despite our having made it clear we were in a hurry, made us wait quite a while at the register before giving us the bill, and he didn't even say hello or thank you. What's more, the pizza wasn't cooked.

09/12/2025: Nice venue for a quick business lunch, I tried pizza with veggies and it was very good! The dough is roman style, very thin and crumbly, while the vegetables were perfectly cooked, which is not to take for granted. I will come back!

The establishment is elegant yet welcoming, with well-spaced loungers and umbrellas that ensure relaxation and privacy. The friendly and helpful staff are always ready to accommodate guests' needs. The sea is spectacular, with clear water that makes the day even more enjoyable. The food service is excellent, with fresh, tasty dishes. The additional amenities are also much appreciated: hot showers and comfortable changing rooms make the experience even more comfortable. A place we always choose with great pleasure, and one that represents a guarantee for us in Sperlonga. Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: Very beautiful and panoramic place, unfortunately we found that there is a lack of organization, takeaway pizzas, they said that they cannot be heated, without an electric plate like all bars, bottled water 0.33 paid 1.50 euros large bottle only at the table not sellable, spaghetti on a plate 20 euros there was a forkful, the owner very arrogant with the customers, to take a hot shower you have to get the card paying for it and a feat...... cold you pay 0.50, so I give one star

22/11/2025: The previous review has been deleted, but I'm reposting it. In the middle of July, with the stifling heat, I was in the area for a post-op appointment. I decided to get some ice cream from them. The sidewalk tables were all empty, but at 2:30 PM in July, I couldn't expect anything else. I entered the shop, went to the cashier, and was told I couldn't sit down. I replied that I hadn't asked to sit down, but that I just wanted ice cream. I paid and went to the counter. There, I was greeted by the clerk and asked for ice cream. Before asking me what flavors I wanted, she told me I couldn't sit down, sobh! (They must have noticed how tired I was.) When I asked for cream, they took a saucepan from a different counter where the ice cream was. The saucepan with the cream was unprotected, and the saucepan was taken from a counter with other foods inside. Stop! Cheers!

18/11/2025: A genuinly beautiful experiance. I have gone to La Fiorentina in for a morning coffee and Maritozzi in the morning, Pizza and pasta for lunch, cheese platter and drinks at night. At every occasion La Fiorentina did not let me down. Most of staff were very friendly, the rest were at least not rude :-) Every seating option has an advantage, if you sit outside you get to enjoy the weather and the people roaming the streets, if you sit inside you get to sit in a cozzy place and enjoy the atmosphere. I recommend for any time any day.

04/09/2025: Welcoming staff, but the quality was truly poor. The calamari appetizer was decent. The first courses were very elaborate and didn't bring out the flavor of the fish. The fried fish was awful and blatantly frozen. There were four of us: two appetizers, four first courses, one fried fish, and one dessert, four bottles of water, and one white wine (a satirical one), for the modest sum of €60 per person. I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be returning.

01/09/2025: When we're in Ponza, we never miss an evening on Gennarino's splendid terrace. A welcoming, family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. Try the new summer dish, Pasta alla Gennarino! Prices are in line with the location. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: I have to say it was a negative experience. It's a neighborhood pizzeria that also offers food. The place is very simple with modern, basic furnishings, but the downside is the service. Even though there aren't many customers, the wait for a simple pizza was excruciating. I thought it was an isolated incident, but over time it turned out to be a regular occurrence... pure slowness. The pizzeria is completely disconnected from the restaurant, and those sitting down have to wait forever to get a pizza. Those who want takeout pizza have an even worse experience... endless waits, with pizzas being put in insulated containers while they wait for all the orders to match. The result is that one pizza comes out of the oven and is put on hold, then other pizzas come out and go to the tables, then other pizzas come out and go to the delivery men, then other pizzas come out to complete the initial order from 20 minutes earlier... total chaos! You end up with freshly baked pizzas, some in insulated containers, and some cold ones that have been sitting there for who knows how long. I've never seen such poor, inaccurate, slow service. Despite all this, if you're lucky enough to have everything go smoothly and get a hot pizza, the quality isn't bad. You have the option of choosing between Neapolitan or Roman pizza, and the prices aren't in line with the context.

15/07/2025: Very rude, very rude! When you're insulted because you have to leave to come back later, it's clear you won't be coming back. We didn't eat, to be precise, but the photos don't match the actual menu. The hours are wrong, and so is the name. I don't recommend visiting them.

19/08/2025: Great setting to a lovely meal which was carefully curated and super flavourful. The waves accompanying the scrumptious meal were a real delight. Hard to book but we finally managed to get a table and it was well worth it. Thanks to the staff for the attentive service and to the chef for an amazing experience. Menu is not long but great selections. We should be back soon as the courgettes and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Thank you

14/07/2025: I loved both the beautiful location and the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service excellent. I was very satisfied. Furthermore, at the end of dinner we were able to visit the museum with the remains of an ancient Roman imperial villa located beneath the building. Wonderful!

15/09/2025: Terrible experience. Just one person forced to do everything: set the table, clear it, take orders, and wait at the tables. Plus, she was loudly humiliated in front of the customers, shouting, "Hurry up and come here." For me, respect for staff and customers comes first, and it was completely lacking here. We waited over an hour: first we were told we could choose two different types of pasta (out of three available first courses), then we were told the chef would only accept one because "otherwise he'd go crazy." The menu wasn't written anywhere: it was just recited to us (three first courses, three second courses, and only a side of cherry tomatoes), yet in the end we saw platters being brought out that hadn't even been offered to us. The water arrived after 40 minutes. The place has potential, but it's terribly managed. The bathroom was disgusting; even washing my hands made me feel disgusted. In the end, when we decided to leave without eating, they even told us they'd already set the table. The table settings, yes, were rustic, but stripped down to the bare minimum: paper placemats, bagged steel cutlery, and a glass. "What a big effort." The only positive note was the lady in the dining room, who wasn't to blame: she did her best, constantly rushing around. But the management is embarrassing. Never again.

14/09/2025: We arrived at 1:15 PM, and by 1:55 PM, we hadn't even been served bread. Certainly not the fault of the poor waitress, forced to manage all the tables alone, but rather the total lack of organization and rudeness of the chef/owner, who instead of working simply berated her in front of the customers. There were no paper menus, no prices displayed: the only way to know what was available was to quickly hear it from the waitress when ordering, without having the slightest time to decide. We ordered three pennettes with asparagus and guanciale and two amatriciana pastas, but after more than 20 minutes, we were informed that it wasn't possible to have two different types of pasta: you had to order them all the same. Absurd and ridiculous. After an hour of waiting, the only thing that arrived at the table was water. We got up without eating anything, paying only for that. An experience to forget. A place like this should be avoided at all costs. Zero organization, zero respect, zero professionalism. Never again, not even for free. And above all: no playing with food.

09/03/2025: Sono venuto a Roma con degli amici per fare una vacanza, erano circa le 13:30 quando siamo arrivati e alle 13:40 hanno preso i nostri ordini, subito dopo ci hanno portato l’acqua senza che la avessimo ordinata; dopo 30 minuti hanno portato il cibo e le bevande e fino a lì tutto ok; una volta finito di mangiare siamo andati a pagare, io avevo preso una carbonara a 9,90€ e una cola dove non c’era scritto il prezzo, ero sicuro che sarebbe costata un rene; siamo andati a pagare e ci hanno dato lo scontrino “95.30€”! Siamo rimasti tutti stupiti, avevamo ordinato: 2 carbonare 19.80€, 1 pizza margherita 11.90€, acqua (non ordinata) 4.50€, 1 cola e una fanta in tutto 12€, gnocchi 15.90€. In tutto 64.10€ + 14€ di coperto E 17.20 SOLO DI SERVIZIO!!!!, ci hanno messo 3 ore per portare il cibo e in più ci hanno fatto pagare un rene. ESPERIENZA ORRIBILE!

09/03/2025: Cibo molto buono, ci siamo trovati molto bene. Peccato che ci abbiano addebitato il 22% sul totale di servizio al tavolo.non era previsto nel menu e non era scritto esplicitamente. Ci siamo trovati un po’ fregati. State attenti quando pagate.
