06/11/2025: I always thought it was a bar, in fact I used to go there for an aperitif, but today I discovered they also serve food... I had a soup of mussels from Lake Paola, "excellent!" Affordable prices and excellent products! The quality/price ratio is excellent! Congratulations!!

14/02/2026: The waiter was friendly, but he immediately realized we were tourists. The prices were as advertised, but then he offered us a platter of appetizers for a whopping €35 (which we later discovered, of course). It wasn't worth €35. And let's add the €19 service charge. In total, we spent €50 each, but we didn't eat that much. Avoid.

28/10/2025: The experience at the facility was decidedly below expectations, but above all, below the asking price. From the moment we arrived, there was an air of annoying arrogance, a classist and prejudiced attitude that shouldn't be found in those who call themselves "high-end hospitality." The beach, despite its location, is rather anonymous: ordinary loungers and umbrellas, strictly cold showers, and small, neglected, and poorly maintained restrooms. Nothing that evoked the luxury or attention to detail one might expect. We were greeted by a lifeguard with an inquisitive approach, who—even though we had just passed through the checkout—suspiciously stopped us to "verify the reservation." His "And you? What are you doing here?" will remain a memorable example of how not to approach customers. But in this regard, the most emblematic episode of the entire day occurred while attempting to have lunch: when we asked for a table, the manager (or so-called manager) pointed us with obvious insistence toward the kiosk/bar, emphasizing that the restaurant only served fish. A clarification as obvious as it was superfluous, since it was precisely that menu that had attracted us. We responded politely, specifying not only that we were aware of it, but also that we were fully aware of the average expected cost. I find it disconcerting—and downright vulgar—to have to justify one's presence based on one's spending power. In the end, we were assigned a table, as if it were a concession and not a service. All around us, empty tables remained throughout the meal. The waiter completed the picture with an unfortunate remark: "I guess you don't drink wine." A quip in questionable taste, perhaps appropriate for any ordinary tavern. For the record: we ordered two glasses of Prosecco, two first courses (spaghetti allo scoglio and linguine with clams and bottarga), water, and two desserts. Total: €120. The dishes were good, no doubt, but nothing memorable, much less justifiable on a financial level, especially considering the hasty, unrefined service, clearly influenced by a superficial judgment of our identity. It's clear that Saporetti is a place where you can be both a stepchild and a stepchild. If you want to feel challenged, looked down upon, and treated with (undeserved!) snobbery, this is a five-star place.

23/08/2025: At almost 8 a.m., the counter was completely empty, with no sweet or savory options. My partner, to avoid waiting too long, had to settle for a vegan croissant, while I opted for a simple coffee, since there was nothing savory available. Furthermore, the prices seemed a bit high for the quality of service. Truly disappointing, I'll never come back. For me, it's a complete no-no.

18/02/2026: I ordered a calzone at 12:11 PM, which was supposed to arrive at 12:30 PM. I accepted the wait. At 12:50 PM, still nothing, so I left. Don't be in a hurry! The waitress doesn't speak English, making communication difficult. My mother's focaccia was dry.

17/02/2026: We ordered two maritozzi that smelled of fish, plus there were three hairs on the cream. A horrible experience for the price you pay.

10/03/2026: Forget about using very low-quality cooking oils that ruin everything and leave a heavy taste. Everything tends to be tasteless.

28/02/2026: While waiting for the table to be full, we order an aperitif, a wine that hadn't been refrigerated, and the waitress tells us it's still warm. Then we get about six anchovies. When the table is full, we continue with our orders and order anchovies again. This time, we get about double the amount, so was it a half portion the first time? Because the price was the same. Then we ask for arancini and they bring us tuna meatballs. When the arancini, which were supposed to be filled with bottarga, arrived, they didn't taste like bottarga at all. For the first courses, we had ordered spaghettoni with clams, which were truly bland, and macaroni, which was replaced by fusilli. The waiter pretended not to notice, and when we pointed out that it wasn't macaroni but fusilli, he told us the macaroni was out of stock. But we were less than halfway through lunch; many other tables were waiting for their first course. And then, if you run out of a type of pasta, you let the customer know; you don't bring them a plate, hoping they won't notice. To finish, we asked for a white grappa. They didn't have it, so they offered us a whiskey and a rum. We declined, but the white grappa was added to the bill anyway. A mistake that no one would have noticed if we hadn't noticed. All things considered, we felt a bit cheated. The prices are a bit high, though; it's probably the location, but the meal wasn't worth the expense. We can't recommend it and definitely won't be back.

12/05/2025: Negli anni ci sono stata più volte e mi è sempre piaciuto, ieri sono rimasta molto delusa. Servizio totalmente disorganizzato: i camerieri che non sapevano dove portare i piatti, il vino l’abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte e dopo aver chiesto di metterlo in ghiaccio non è stato fatto. Abbiamo preso i primi di pesce che erano un lago di olio all’aglio e basta (allego foto di quelli che dovevano essere spaghetti con vongole). Mi dispiace molto, ma è un grande no.

12/05/2025: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante per cena. Già all' entrata ci siamo trovati molto bene, il posto è luminoso e molto accogliente. Gli ordini sono arrivati e subito e nonostante abbiamo ordinato 5 piatti diversi, ce li hanno portati tutti insieme. I camerieri sono molto gentili e il cibo è molto buono. Consiglio.

16/11/2025: A true Roman nightlife institution! We were welcomed as if we were back in the '80s! Outstanding piano bar and excellent cocktails.

15/11/2025: Book in advance. The place is msily attended by locals and offers an amazing exoerience of an upscale italism music party night. Food was excellent and drinks were super.

11/11/2025: I work in the area but haven't been there in a while. Today I found a bar... almost abandoned, with a messy bar counter... full of brochures and papers... (I don't think it's ideal for breakfast...). The croissants were very limited and, as a sign posted on the counter stated, defrosted. The coffee shop was very average (burnt coffee and caffe latte without foam... served lukewarm...). So: we're not there... we're not there across the board. This isn't meant to be a disgrace, but rather an invitation to do better. I fully understand that it's not easy to run a business, but there are offices in the area... I think a little effort and investment could benefit everyone (customers, managers, etc.).

08/10/2025: A half-hour wait for the most tasteless spaghetti with tomato sauce I can remember. They were passing off dried-up sandwich bread scraps as a basket of bread. Never again.

15/06/2025: Not far from Spanish steps in the small street , very cute restaurant with indoor & outdoor sitting . Excellent Italian food , good quality fresh and tasty . Good wine choices . Really worth to try it .
