01/06/2025: Bassano in Teverina is worth a stop for a guided tour of the clock tower (to be booked) and then the highly recommended restaurant in town, Osteria del Belvedere. Here too I recommend you book. The place, carved into the rock, is truly evocative especially if, like us, you dine on the mezzanine. Typical cuisine, refined and plentiful. Courteous and fast service. The prices are not exactly cheap but given the portions you can spend 90 euros for two on enough food (1 starter, 2 first courses and 1 dessert). The only complaint was that the tagliatelle was a little too greasy.

31/05/2025: Excellent quality ingredients, impeccable service and maximum availability (we have a large dog and they guaranteed us a space outside just for us in maximum tranquility)

29/05/2025: To say that I am at home here is an understatement. My husband has known Pino and Francesco since prehistoric times (they were kids, now everyone has a certain age 😁😁😁 except Manuela, she is young😊 ). When you go to Cocco it is like being at home, it is family run so you too find yourself a customer in a familiar, warm environment, kindness and availability always present. Excellent fried foods, classic Roman pizza, thin and delicious. Do we want to talk about the truffles?? My favorite is the licorice one with a soft dark chocolate heart🤤🤤🤤🤤. Go to Cocco and enjoy the evening, the inside tables have benches (I love the benches🙂🙃). There is also seating outside. You can also take away but there is no home delivery. It is better to book especially on weekends. I may be biased, but there is no other place like Cocco...🤩

02/11/2024: Location ricavata alla meglio sia dentro che fuori. Praticamente si mangia adiacente ad un marciapiedi con pallet come divisorio. Cucina pessima. Ho preso un battuto di gambero rosa al sapore di limone in quanto era l'unico sapore percepito. Il piatto del giorno consisteva in pasta e patate con le cozze. Si sentiva solo il sapore delle patate, le cozze sono state inserite già sgusciate. Per finire abbiamo preso trancio di ricciola cotto alla piastra con retrogusto di bruciato( piastra non pulita) il vino rosato del Salento raccomandato era un acquisto fatto al supermercato M.A del gruppo Gros di Fiumicino. In una giornata bella come quella odierna oltre noi tre c'erano altre due persone. Meglio un panino e lo sconsiglio vivamente a tutti

01/11/2024: Excellent restaurant, my wife and I went there for lunch; the menu does not include many courses but for me it is a good sign: it means taking care of the dishes and the raw materials, which are really at the top: very fresh fish, homemade bread (very good); the dishes offered are certainly original and unconventional, for those who know how to appreciate innovation in the kitchen; quiet environment and attentive, friendly service; the bill is related to the quality of the offer Well done, we will definitely be back.

02/06/2025: Seafood risotto, to say the least, delicious! Delicate but tasty, with the addition of really good black. As a dessert, saffron semifreddo with berries and “la scarpetta” with warm brioche with coconut and chocolate mousse!! Highly recommended also for the service, they welcomed us with a welcome entrée with amberjack meatball and a savory brioche with dried tomatoes!

26/05/2025: Very nice restaurant, located above the port, with a beautiful view of the island, very suggestive at sunset. The food is of excellent quality, pity that it is extremely crowded and noisy, perhaps reducing a few covers would allow for a better environment and service even at peak times

25/05/2025: pappardelle. with wild boar horrible with sauce made of carrot and meat in mush appetizer with cooked ham never seen before I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.

17/05/2025: Siamo arrivati a questo ristorante io e la mia famiglia (5 adulti e tre bambini) dopo aver telefonato e chiesto la disponibilità di posti; abbiamo ordinato dei primi di pasta cacio e pepe ed altre pietanze chiedendo di fare dei piatti abbondanti. Risultato hanno servito prima gli adulti (da quando in qua si servono prima gli adulti?) e dopo un pò hanno servito i bambini; i primi piatti di pasta sono arrivati con dei piatti a forma di cappello di don Camillo il cui contenuto è stato di due forchettate di pasta e poi è finito tutto, abbiamo fatto notare che il contenuto era molto ridotto e ci hanno portato altre due pietanze da dividere. Al momento di pagare, abbiamo segnalato che non eravamo soddisfatti del servizio (lamentando che avevano servito prima gli adulti e poi i bambini) e della quantità del cibo servito che era scarso, ci aspettavamo delle scuse e magari un modo per offrire qualcosa o una sconto, un gesto di gentilezza, invece si è generata una discussione in cui loro sostenevano delle ragioni tutte discutibili, oltretutto il conto è stato abbastanza caro e le due portate di pasta in aggiunta sono state conteggiate.

07/05/2025: Used the coupon 2 pizzas for the cost of one, good experience, good nduja supplì, good with ragù, not bad, also the fried cod fillet (even if frozen and at a very good price), the spicy salami pizza was excellent, while for the capricciosa I found a poor seasoning but both were well made. We will definitely be back to try the pastas which I glimpsed were really generous portions.

01/05/2025: Terrible cuisine, the starters were so-so even though I imagined they were non-artisan fried foods, €1 per mozzarella and two out of five were completely empty. One of the two first courses (the risotto with scampi cream) was pitiful, tomato mixed with milk so it only tasted of mess. The fried calamari was soft and full of oil, the baked potatoes were probably microwaved the day before, perhaps suitable for baking in the oven on pizza but certainly not suitable for serving as a normal side dish. To forget! The dining room staff was very kind and helpful, especially the girl

24/05/2025: Great food and service, our waiter Mirco was very kind and fulfilled all our wishes with a smile on his face. True Italian hospitality and cuisine can be expected here. The place is clean, the food is delicious and served very quickly and the surrounding area is lovely. Will definitely visit again when coming to Rome.

17/05/2025: Posto consigliatissimo, Piatti di alto livello, antipasti buonissimi, primo e secondo indimenticabili. È stata una cena unica. Il locale è pulitissimo, personale preparato ed educato. il titolare è unico, simpaticissimo. Se siete a Roma anche per un giorno, vi consiglio di andare a pranzo k a cena assolutamente!

23/05/2025: Stopped for lunch , just found the place on google as we drove . Welcome was friendly, views delightful . Menu is via QR code, which is a pest when you have to keep flipping backwards and forwards , but hey ho it saves on paper! Other diners not too tech savvy had great difficulty getting the menu and ordering, staff were not good in assisting them. Good food choices in the menu, but it was easy to miss items whilst flicking back and forth! Hubbys seafood pasta was good, my tortellini was bland, would have benefited from fresh pieces of fish rather than puréed fish. The fried lake fish was not to our liking, but that may just be personal taste.

13/05/2025: Excellent meat and very kind lady serving. Welcoming and spartan atmosphere. A giant and beautiful fireplace. Fair prices, absolutely to try.

22/05/2025: I was going to visit the cemetery and got in the first restaurant I found without looking too much, and I was so lucky. Food is amazing. Had a very big salad, fresh ingredients, really good quality, and the amatriciana. Portions are huge for the price! I couldn't finish the pasta to my regret because was the best amatriciana I ever had. Waiters were lovely too. I will come in every visit to Rome.
