The food is excellent, the service is a bit slow, and the atmosphere is a bit too dark (the black walls don't let any light into the room).

It's rare for a place this beautiful to also be good. This one is. D'Annunzio-style interiors, black parquet, gold accents, armchairs, all very beautiful and meticulously maintained. But what makes this place unique is the marvelous view of the lake. Marvelous. There were several of us, and we were lucky enough to end up on a covered terrace practically overlooking the lake: the best of the best. The menu is good; if I may offer a tip, choose simple dishes that they do really well, like linguine with lobster. There are richer options; I've tried them, but they're overpowering in flavor.
I'll be back. Excellent.

The location is truly exceptional. The view over Lake Castel Gandolfo is simply breathtaking. I had visited Ristorante Gardenia some time ago, but I didn’t remember it being this beautiful. The quality of the food and the menu is genuinely first-class. The goose prosciutto appetizer is absolutely exceptional—delicate, flavorful, and a perfect start to the meal. An elegant restaurant at a fair price.
