25/05/2025: Coming from Como, I have to say that this place took me by surprise on everything. We showed up at dawn at 3 pm, because we had to participate in a prize, and they welcomed us without any problems, as if they were expecting us even if they were about to close the kitchens. Needless to say, the staff is super friendly, it deserves a plus. The outdoor area, overall, feels like a holiday: the sun, the tables, the breeze from the lake and the spring chirping of the birds. Just sit at the table and everything takes on the slow pace of a pleasure trip. The food is excellent, with some gems, like the supplì that actually strings, as per the dictionary. Guys, stop by: the quality/price ratio is unbalanced in our favor!

Both from the inside, where sober and elegant rooms make guests feel at ease, and from the outside terraces you can enjoy an exceptional view of Ponza and the entire bay. 19/05/2025: What a gem! This restaurant is delicious. The seafood appetizer was fresh and so good. The mussels were tender, the fried baby octopus was delicious, the shrimp was an incredible bite of food. The star of the show however was their Orechiette L’Isola d’Oro (€20). It was a beautiful truffle cream sauce with shrimp and squash blossoms coating perfectly cooked orechiette. Worth. Every. Dollar. The portion was also huge, and we struggled to finish one plate between two people. It has been our favorite meal so far. Truly delicious and I cannot recommend it enough.

I ennjoyed the seafood platter, the seafood rice and the pasta with shimps and truffles, was exceptional -rich, aromatic and beautiful presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend L'Isola d'Oro for anyone looking to indulge in high-quality seafood and authentic Italian flavors. A truly memorable culinary experience!

19/05/2025: I really had a great time. The dishes were spectacular, very good and prepared in an excellent way. I will definitely come again with friends and family. The meat, especially the FIORENTINA, was fantastic. The staff was very kind and polite. I had the pleasure of meeting the CHEF, one of the best people there is, in addition to the dishes he cooks. A very good guy. He will certainly go a long way in the kitchen. I hope to always find the same quality in the food and environment. You really feel at home. Everything is fantastic!!!

14/05/2025: Food was good but they will charge you for nothing. Be prepared to pay 4 euros for a napkin or 2 euros for a tablecloth. Only way to put it.

29/05/2025: Historic place, the interior with a period boisserie, never changed since I was a child in the 70s, is always enchanting. The last time I was there I was with some foreign colleagues, who really appreciated the pasta (6 dishes for four people!), while I have always gone there Solone only for the pizza. A pleasant discovery after many years. Pleasant and friendly service, never too intrusive.

27/05/2025: We sat outside and it was a nice little dead-end street with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters were friendly and food was decent, very good pizza but the rest we shared (some appetizers and starters) were just okay.

03/05/2025: Finally a noteworthy bar, cafe, pastry shop and much more. Everything was delicious and above all excellent staff and service. The lady at the checkout and all the staff were friendly and nice. Breakfast is a necessary good morning these days, and starting the day with a smile has its weight.

16/04/2025: the first time by chance, the second by choice. I had breakfast served by a very good Barista, I think his name is Alessio. Excellent cappuccino made with dedication and attention to my intolerances, even small attentions make a big difference (his colleague at the counter was very inattentive and Alessio managed to monitor all the customers and dedicate the right "pampering" to everyone for breakfast). I believe that beyond the good coffee and croissant and the vast pastry shop, I must say equally delicious, this is what makes the difference and some professionals should be rewarded for the added value they give to the bar given the many offerings (one bar every 10 meters).

Their octopus, in particular, was clearly a miss. It's not quite at the level of a high-end restaurant, although the wine list is quite good.

18/05/2025: We had a very good carbonara, really tasty and well prepared. However, the service at the end left something to be desired. After asking for the bill, we waited about 15 minutes. When we asked for the bill again, the waiter came back very rudely, already with the card machine in his hands. I just held up my cell phone to pay, and he left without thanking me, nor did he offer me a copy of my card. This type of attitude ends up compromising the good experience we had with the food.
