12/04/2026: The standard of dining is high in Grado, unfortunately not here tonight. To begin with: the Aperol Spritz was the best part of the visit. We only ordered pizza, but it was the most "ordinary" pizza in the whole town. The taste wasn't great, especially compared to the fantastic pizzerias here. Cuperto was €3 per person, and they didn't even offer any snacks to start (which most people can do without anyway). Perhaps the kitchen wasn't having their best day. The service was friendly, but the casual attire detracted from the overall impression, which wouldn't have improved the pizza either.

28/02/2026: This restaurant in the heart of Trieste is a must-try: The first thing that catches your eye is the ambiance: the location is truly unique, meticulously maintained, and has a sophisticated atmosphere that blends historic style with a modern, bold touch. We sampled both seafood and meat dishes and were very satisfied. The spaghetti alla busara is flavorful, rich, and cooked according to tradition. Moving on to the meat, you can taste the quality of the ingredients, and the cooking was impeccable, juicy, and beautifully presented. The staff is knowledgeable and very courteous. Despite the restaurant being often busy and lively, the service is attentive. In short: you eat well, you drink even better, and you're in a special place.

28/02/2026: A slice of Naples in the heart of Pordenone! The dough is light, with a classic high and fluffy crust, and the ingredients are clearly top-quality: a guarantee for those who love authentic style. The service was courteous. The restaurant is modern, well-kept, and very welcoming.

16/02/2026: We went in because the restaurant looked good and we could see the wood-fired oven (but honestly, it smelled like pizza). There were five of us, and we ordered one salad and three pizzas. The first thing that surprised us was the terrible service from the "apparent" manager, who refused to give us individual plates. (His colleague brought them to us.) The pizzas were bland, lacking tomato sauce, and some of the toppings listed on the menu weren't even on the pizzas. The cheese was like eating plastic. In short: terrible service and bad pizza.

02/04/2026: Pizzeria right on the Grand Canal; inside the tables are very close together, and of course, they won't give a table for four to three people. Naturally, you'll end up sitting right next to other people and next to the cash register.

11/04/2026: We arrived at the hotelier's recommendation. The place immediately struck us, thanks to its unique location in a private square in front of the equally unique hotel. I was particularly struck by the attention to detail in the table settings, which were uncommon but very refined. The Murano glasses were beautiful... while the owner of the establishment, a young, yet competent and empathetic ENTREPRENEUR, chatted with us, introducing us to the features of his service on a day most in the industry considered a HOLIDAY... EXCELLENT DISHES, some local and some revisited, but all, though simple, based on high-quality ingredients. The service was prompt. Perfect for an evening out. No noise, no crowds, no rush, and great attention to detail. Everything was well-organized. I'd say it was highly professional. Highly recommended.

05/04/2026: While we were served quickly and the waitresses were generally efficient, they were unfriendly and we waited an hour for a small portion of fritto misto. When it came time to pay, they charged us for the wrong table and wanted €61 for a small Coke, a small multivitamin juice, and the single portion of fritto misto. After another 15 minutes, everything was finally sorted out and we paid €28, which was still far too much for the drinks and the tiny portion. All in all, despite the pleasant atmosphere, I wouldn't recommend this place.

08/04/2026: I went to this restaurant on Easter Sunday. The prices were decidedly high, but given the beachfront location, that wouldn't be a problem... if only the service and food were up to par. A certain level of quality is expected in a restaurant like this, which unfortunately was completely lacking. The food was average, nothing memorable, and the portions were small. The seafood pasta at €25 is absolutely not recommended: the portions were ridiculous, with very few mussels and clams (many of them empty), a few discarded shrimp, and only one prawn, and it was of questionable quality. Disastrous service: we waited almost two hours for our food. The entire dining room was complaining, and some even joked that they were going to stay for breakfast (and it was lunch...). Upon arrival, we stood in front of the reservation book for over 15 minutes, completely ignored. We called the staff several times, always receiving the same response: "Someone's coming right away"... a decidedly lax "right away." The worst part, however, was the rudeness of the staff. A waitress literally cut me off at the door without even apologizing. I've never seen anything like this. I can understand a certain disorganization given the start of the season, but after service like that, at least politeness should be the minimum. But no. I'd also add an unpleasant scene: a waitress filleting fish with her hair practically on the customer's plate. Fortunately, the customers present were all polite: no one made a scene, everyone paid and left. But it's clear they're unlikely to return. In fact, the level of dissatisfaction was such that I saw customers get up as soon as their course was finished, without even waiting for the waiter to clear the table. It's a shame, because years ago, management was completely different: the food was excellent, and above all, there was respect for the customer. I strongly recommend holding a serious internal meeting, because this will only make the situation worse. Having had years of experience in the restaurant business, what I saw was the sign of a disaster waiting to happen. Today, the only beautiful thing left is the view... but that won't be enough for long.
