24/02/2025: I often get takeaway poke from Casa Fazi. The ingredients are quality and the sauces are balanced, neither salty nor bland. The only note is that for example the medium bowl could be larger... let's say that it's not enough to fill you up completely. It's a shame that lately there is no longer raw tuna as a protein but only salmon.

31/07/2025: We randomly chose it while wandering around Udine, and it was a great experience. Given the generous portions, we only had appetizers for lunch. The place is beautiful, and the meringue for dessert was sublime (and the vodka in the sorbet was also remarkable). Highly recommended!

05/07/2025: Pizzeria and more in the center of Udine also open for lunch. We went there after a dance show. There are some tables outside but the place is air conditioned. Great variety of pizzas. Note of merit: even though we ate very late, the pizza did not require getting up in the middle of the night to quench our thirst

14/07/2025: I'm sick of hearing the negative comments moaning. Of course, it's not super cheap, and of course, the food is good elsewhere too. And it's not a beach bar where you just walk in, sit down, and order a Coke (most of the negative comments are based on this misunderstanding). It's a classic dining restaurant that requires a reservation and a corresponding order of dishes, and where you pay for pane e coperto, even if you haven't eaten much. But anyone who comes here in the evening and sits on the terrace overlooking the sea, watching the sun go down, drinking a good white wine, and eating the bigoli in cassopipa, is very close to seventh heaven—but only if they haven't had an appetizer and have someone else with them ;-), otherwise, it's impossible. What's amazing to me is that despite this tourist hotspot character, the food is still very good, and the service is friendly and attentive. Update 5/25: We were here with a group of 10 friends (with a reservation, of course), agreed on a small menu for the whole group with the waiter (mixed fish and seafood appetizer, bigoli in cassopipa, dessert) and were more than satisfied with both the food and the price we paid.

06/07/2025: An absolute gem by the sea! The food was absolutely amazing – every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The house white wine (Friulano) exceeded expectations and paired perfectly with the seafood. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and fair prices. If you’re in Trieste, do not skip this place – it’s a true local treasure!

19/07/2025: Posto diventato per spennamento turisti... Pessima qualità.. Antipasto di pesce che non vale assolutamente 25 euro.. Pizza tipo suola di scarpa... Non ci torneremo più.. E pensare che si mangiava bene... Adesso tipo catena di montaggio e la qualità ha perso importanza

10/07/2025: Fermati per un aperitivo. Servizio scarso. Due spritz aperol su un tavolo senza nemmeno un tovagliolo o un posacenere. Cannuccia appoggiata bagnata da me sul tavolo, non usandola. Non hanno portato che un piattino mini di patatine. Ne un oliva ne un cicchetto con un po di riso o pasta. Questo è un ristorante ed era aperto. Giardino vicino i tavoli mal tenuto. (è comunale ma.....) Prezzo esoso per quanto offerto. 10€

18/08/2025: The food is good, the portions are generous and the restaurant staff is polite and courteous, on the other hand the service is slow. Twenty minutes to order and another 30 before the dishes arrived. All in all, the restaurant does well.

Excellent food (pasta with meat sauce for the child, scrambled eggs with asparagus, gnocchi with tomato and buffalo mozzarella, delicious sliced ​​black Angus cooked to perfection with the side dishes, ... and 2 glasses of house Schioppettino wine. Meat is the house specialty. We also had our dog, they put us at a table where even the dog felt at ease and did not disturb us or the rest of the customers. In short, we stumbled upon it by chance and were very satisfied. Good quality/price ratio

19/06/2025: Trieste per lavoro. Pomeriggio libero a Marina Julia. Mare, sole e aperitivo. Direzione Vicenza ma ci siamo detti ceniamo in zona così facciamo presto. Cerchiamo su Trip Advisor ed ecco che a 3,5 km ci compare “Locanda La Ferula” Staranzano (GO), mi sembra ok e via… Locale molto carino, ci fanno sedere sotto dei gazebo colorati acqua e menu… Piatti originali dai nomi altrettanto originali: sushi agricolo, caprese impressionista ecc. Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma non voglio rovinare la sorpresa con parole che ridurrebbero le aspettative perciò vi invito ad andarli a scoprire… Purtroppo però la lentezza del servizio ci ha reso l’esperienza mediocre. Entrati alle 19:45 usciti quasi alle 22:00… avevamo anche detto di aver fretta! Dispiace. Le 5 star saranno per la prossima volta.

07/03/2025: Gli amici non lo conoscevano, ed avendolo noi provato di recente li portiamo certi di far bella figura ! Polpettine, flan, frico, cotechino, primi piatti….tutto eccellente, amici soddisfatti particolarmente dopo aver assaggiato i deliziosi dolci…ed abbondantemente bevuto dell’ottimo Refosco. Torneremo in Friuli questa primavera e non mancheremo di tornare a trovarvi

08/08/2025: I entered, drawn by the elegance of the place, with its meticulous attention to detail, and after ordering a plate of basil gnocchi, I was delighted by the high quality of the food and the kindness of the attentive and meticulous staff. I then decided to indulge in a dessert, the "three-chocolate mousse," which was truly remarkable!!! I must say, it's an experience I highly recommend!
