28/09/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The service was quite slow, and the waiters were not particularly attentive to our requests. The food was also disappointing - the portions were small, and the taste left a lot to be desired. The drinks were decent, but not enough to warrant a return visit. I hope this situation improves in the future.

29/09/2025: I've been to La Rocca several times, and I can't fault the location, which is unique! The food is definitely good, but I've had better there a few years ago.

27/09/2025: The service is a 5/5, the food however is unfortunately not. I had Spaghetti with scampi (20 Euro). The sauce was not better than strained tomatoes from the super market. The scampis did not have much meat and the fritto misto (24 Euro) was below average for Trieste. It's way too pricey for the quality you get. They also still have a squat toilet.

06/09/2025: Found it by chance and it was a surprise. The owner, a waiter and dishwasher from Desio, is not only a good businessman but also an excellent cook. Recommended dishes?? ALL OF THEM!! The place needs a little more attention as it's starting to show its age, but otherwise highly recommended!!

28/09/2025: A delightful evening, enhanced by excellent service and truly delicious food! A real surprise just a few kilometers from home! Excellent seafood and excellent aperitif/first or second course combinations! The surprise was the excellent restroom amenities... not only the courtesy stall for the ladies, but also disposable toothbrushes! Definitely worth a try!

28/09/2025: A historic restaurant near the center of Casarsa, located on the main street. The atmosphere is a bit vintage but elegant. The menu offers a limited selection, but they're very well executed and feature the freshest seafood. The restaurant manager still comes to your table and lists off-menu items (an old-fashioned kindness). The staff is very knowledgeable, but what's most striking is their attention to customer service. Seafood is the real star. The dishes are generous but high-quality. They offer some very interesting combinations that allow you to try several dishes at a reasonable price. A truly wonderful surprise just a few minutes from home!

17/09/2025: The food was delicious, with excellent king prawns, a fantastic tartare, and wonderful salmon. The waiters were friendly and welcoming. We arrived when the tables were full, and the waiters gave us time to peruse the menu without being overbearing. We left full and satisfied.

25/08/2025: The prices were too high for a trattoria, the dishes were not very generous and the choice was very limited, and the guy who served us wasn't very friendly.

23/08/2025: If you're in Lignano and want to enjoy traditional dishes revisited with care and a twist, you have to come here. It's a great place to be, and above all, the food is delicious! Young and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended?

05/10/2025: The food was good and plentiful, the service was kind and attentive. At the end of the meal, sweets and limoncello were offered. I only gave it three stars because I found it really expensive.

04/10/2025: VERY generous dishes, good quality, but generous and good don't always coincide. Prices are high for a humble worker like me, but understandable given the excellent service. The speed with which the dishes arrived amazed me; the kitchen must be very powerful.

08/10/2025: Simple Italian restaurant. Full of locals and not many tourists. A good thing. Tasty pizza dough. Better than the food was the vibe from a happy local restaurant. We stopped while detouring into Italy while road biking towards Slovenia. Impressed to see local hot shot road bikers stop here as well. Plus mothers with daughters. Fun time!

15/10/2025: Small but fine menu; we were there for lunch. Very friendly staff. Excellent food, good house wine. Very good coffee. The prices are reasonable and fair. Give it a try, it's worth it!

27/09/2025: We discovered this fantastic osteria during a visit to Gorizia, and based on the excellent reviews, we decided to try it. Unfortunately, I'll have to limit myself to 5 stars, but it was a wonderful experience thanks to the undeniable quality of the dishes, the courteous service, and the kindness of Mauro, who guided us on a true journey of discovery of local dishes with expertise and charm. I highly recommend anyone in the area to visit; you won't be disappointed.

12/10/2025: We arrived without a reservation. We asked for a table for two and were initially told it was full and there was no room. They told us we'd have a long wait...in the meantime, we had an aperitif, and within two minutes, a table was ready for us. Five stars aren't enough. Beautiful location, extremely kind staff, and excellent food. I'll definitely book next time.

26/08/2025: I've been frequenting the Bar Trattoria alla Nave "Mami" for years now, and I can confidently say that it's the absolute go-to place for those seeking fresh fish, cooked with respect and simplicity in Marano Lagunare. The quality of the fish has always been excellent, with the freshest ingredients showcased to the fullest thanks to a simple and respectful cuisine. The owner is a wonderful person: attentive, helpful, and always ready to recommend the best options based on the day and the catch. Trust him, you won't go wrong. The real must? The selection of appetizers: raw, warm, and cooked. A journey of flavor that captures the lagoon like few others. If you're looking for authenticity, passion, and fish prepared just right, this is the place. You'll want to come back time and time again. A little tip: book well in advance, especially in the summer; given the restaurant's popularity and (well-deserved) success, it's practically impossible to find a table.

04/10/2025: Interesting decor and atmosphere. You're immersed in a bygone era. We were seated at a table and were assigned because we hadn't made a reservation. The owner was apparently sitting at a desk right next to us in the dining room, taking calls, processing bills, eating sandwiches, and looking at his Instagram. It's funny, aside from that, the menu is relatively small and manageable, with daily specials or fresh catch, but prices aren't communicated. The food overall was delicious. We had crab. We had fish marinated in onion and vinegar. However, I've had better versions. Overall, the food was okay, the accompanying wines were also very good, but overall, you could call the evening a success, not outstanding.
