01/04/2025: Really good food and very good wine selection!

14/03/2025: We had dinner on the veranda overlooking the flow of the canal, a heated and welcoming environment. Very friendly and attentive service from the first contact. We took a mixed platter of cold cuts, super good.... top salami. Starter: tartare and an exquisite liver pâté, main course: Argentinian lomo... the excellent glasses of schiopettino were cut with a spoon. Price in line with the quality of the food, service and venue.

01/04/2025: After having a dinner here last summer, I came again recently in winter. Both outside and inside atmosphere are very nice. Being in the centre of Trieste, but forgetting about all the buzz of the city. The food was just like made at home, fresh and very light. Service was super sweet and one girl even spoke my language.

05/04/2025: We went for dinner on a Saturday night and had a great time. An excellent appetizer with scallops and artichokes, two very good first courses (tagliolini with courgettes and spider crab and bigoli with sardines, sage and pine nuts) and a slice of baked croaker in a pleasant crust. The dessert (ricotta cake) was very good. Average price (€100 for two), high quality. Recommended, we will be back!

I chose to try the fresh raw ham, accompanied by a fried egg. I must say that every bite was an experience of authentic and well-harmonized flavors. The raw ham was of the highest quality, tender and tasty, with a light salty note that went perfectly with the freshness of the dish. The sunny side up egg was cooked to perfection, with the yolk melting in your mouth, making for an irresistible combination. The service was friendly and attentive, helping to make my experience even more enjoyable. The environment of the tavern is warm and welcoming, ideal for a quiet lunch or for a dinner with friends. I highly recommend La Vecchia Osteria del Moro to anyone who is in Pordenone and wants to savor genuine, well-prepared dishes. I can't wait to return to try other specialties on their menu!
