20/10/2025: Excellent food, carefully prepared and with an innovative touch. Friendly, attentive, and pleasant staff, attentive service. The atmosphere is warm, pleasant, and relaxing.

04/10/2025: I usually never leave reviews unless I try a place at least a second time, but this time I'm making an exception. The restaurant deserves five stars for the quality of the food, the owners' passion for their craft, the charming location, and, last but not least, the Palestinian flag at the entrance. I ate a delicious boreto on a cold October evening; I hope to return soon to try other dishes.

19/01/2026: I met Alfio, a novice manager in the late 1970s. He transformed the pizzeria into a high-end restaurant serving meat and fish. The commanding location and the panoramic veranda made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

As soon as we entered, the first thing the "presumably" owner said to us was: for five people, the table is available from 6:45 PM to 8:30 PM... To which I said, when she brings us the pizza and we finish it... I leave... The lady, with an annoyed expression: she turns on us... and she knows what's involved... We always work two shifts... Maybe next time... Before rudely attacking, whoever earns your living... Learn to make pizza... Your Neapolitan pizza is only in name... Zero leavening and at times it seemed uncarvable... See you never again Goodbye...

17/12/2025: I've been frequenting Da Afro for years. Owner Dario applies a simple yet extraordinarily effective philosophy: seasonality and quality, quality and seasonality! The menu changes practically every season, and the cuisine uses locally sourced products, crafted into never-pretentious recipes rooted in Friulian tradition (and beyond). In winter, a roaring fireplace adds to the restaurant's emotional warmth.

23/11/2025: We were passing through Spilimbergo and stayed one night in this simple but cozy place, with a clean and spacious room. There was a small mix-up, so Dario, the super-kind owner, offered us a discount and a bottle of wine. We also ate there, a delicious experience. Highly recommended!

21/12/2025: Old-fashioned flavors, a nice atmosphere, and moderate prices. They have a good red-pezzata fillet, fried lasagna (special)... But what really struck me was the Gorizia rose...after finishing everything, after dessert, I ate another plate!

28/11/2025: Excellent experience. Delicious, high-quality seafood dishes, from appetizers to main courses. Delicious bread and excellent service: friendly staff and expert chef. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, well-maintained, and reasonably priced for the quality of the food. We'll definitely return. I'd add a vegetarian option for appetizers, first courses, and main courses.

18/01/2026: The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned, but I honestly like it. Everything else is great! The welcome, the food, and the staff are exceptional. We've been there many times now, and the selection of appetizers is always superb—from raw to cold, cooked, fried, and au gratin—it's a menu we enjoy. The house wine is also good. I've brought friends, work colleagues, sports colleagues, even my employees, and we've all been satisfied. Of course, you have to book well in advance, but it's worth it. Last but not least... the price is absolutely affordable for everything you eat. I think we'll definitely be back.

09/11/2025: Everything was exceptional! Luckily, we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, which isn't as famous as others. We had a wonderful meal (an A+ for everything), home-cooked food, and not the usual fried calamari you find everywhere, but seasonal dishes prepared with great skill. The attention to detail was meticulous, and the place was very pleasant inside and out, not to make up for the crowds, but to pamper guests. I appreciated the staff, who were much friendlier than at any other restaurant in Lignano, but at the same time impeccable in their service. I didn't have to wait long for my food, and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend it to everyone, even those with children. I also really appreciated two other things: the tray in the bathroom with products available for guests in case of emergency (a fantastic idea) and the message on the menu (I won't tell you, you'll have to read it). My family and I felt truly welcomed!

27/12/2025: The raw fish appetizer was unremarkable, the linguine with spider crab had very little spider crab in it, and the table staff were completely incapable of explaining what was on the menu, and what, if any, was available. As for the off-menu items, I can't say the food was bad, but it wasn't up to par with what I expected and the bill.

16/12/2025: Wow! The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were incredible. The location is really beautiful and very cool! The service was excellent; there was always someone there to clear the table or take new orders. Highly recommended!
