03/01/2025: Tutto buono dal cibo al servizio! Locale molto attento alle esigenze dei bimbi… posate e bicchiere e poi n plastica e bavaglino tutto già pronto a tavolo e fasciatoio con dotazione dí pannolini e salviettine! ottimo e raro da trovare direi!! Complimenti

31/12/2024: Ci trovavamo in zona, senza aver programmato nulla .. ma come al solito l'intuito non si è sbagliato: il Vecchio Borgo è stata un'ottima esperienza culinaria e umana. A partire dalla calorosa accoglienza dei titolari. Ottima proposta dei piatti della tradizione, affiancati da preparazioni inusuali e ricercate (ad esempio il maialino a lenta cottura e servito piastrato). Apprezzabile (ed apprezzata!) la lista dei vini. Da ritornarci!

16/01/2025: I had a great time, unlike the hotel nearby and near the train season.. They helped me with the food and especially the owner was really ok ‼️I'm vegan so I don't recommend any particular dish.

07/01/2025: Christmas lunch with friends, Beppe welcomed us as if we were at home. Cucina serves and manages everything alone, and this makes the place even more characteristic and particular. We felt super pampered and for a fixed menu agreed together consisting of: Starter (mixed cured meats) Bis Risotti (Aubergine 😍😍 and Giuseppe Verdi) Second Tagliata with potatoes House wine (1 liter for every 3 people) Water (1 liter for every 3 people, then there were more) Dessert of your choice All homemade and on the spot by Beppe cost €37/p.p.

06/01/2025: Unfortunately, Beppe closed permanently on December 31st. We'll see what they do with this unique place, also because its uniqueness was given by Beppe himself. Will it become one of those radical chic places that Oltretorrente likes so much, but which no longer represent the essence of this neighborhood?! And what will he do without his Hostaria and his loyal customers?!! We will miss him.

26/09/2024: I have asked myself several times what to expect from a Michelin Starred Restaurant. I had the pleasure and honor of participating in a company lunch in this restaurant, where the menu was agreed upon. It was a magnificent emotional journey, where nothing was left to chance: from the welcome to the service, from the dishes offered to the paired wines. I was struck by almost all the dishes, where the search for particular combinations was perceived, to express taste, technique and imagination. From the entrance: oyster, apple and dill to the pre-dessert and the final small pastry and sweets. Elegant dishes, with exhaustive explanation for each dish offered. All Exciting 🌟

19/11/2024: Excellent mixed starter of cured meats. The raw ham melted in your mouth. The first courses are delicious (tagliatelle with culatello ragout and anolini in broth). Also try their desserts! Fast and courteous service. Convenient for parking and proximity to the highway.
