01/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati perché nel menù scritto nella via principale segnava ci fossero i tortellini in brodo ma una volta seduti al tavolo nel menù erano assenti. Non trovo corretto tale "aggancio " per accaparrarsi la clientela che una volta sedutasi difficilmente se ne va. Bastava oscurare tale opzione. Tuttavia la qualità delle pietanze lascia parecchio da desiderare rispetto altri ristoranti della zona. Difficilmente ci andremo nuovamente.

12/05/2025: The place was recommended by acquaintances and after visiting their website we booked a table six weeks in advance. We arrived full of enthusiasm and expectations. What a disappointment. The place is divided into many areas, well-kept and clean. Courteous and professional welcome. We were brought the menus, the off-menu and the wine list. We expected a variety that wasn't there, there was only the goose-based salami. Not only that, the menu wasn't clear, we stressed that it was the first time we were there so the dishes had to be presented, given the lack of information on the menu itself. If we hadn't asked the waitress for clarification we wouldn't have known that with the assorted salami they bring you baked polenta. I wanted to have the goose breast with rocket and balsamic vinegar, but I was told that there was mixed salami on the cutting board. Frankly, the first courses didn't pique our curiosity and we both took the roast duck from the off-menu. Still Gutturnio wine. A platter of cold cuts arrived with literally two slices of salami, three small pieces of polenta (for two), goose cooked ham and goose mortadella. On a separate plate three slices of goose breast with rocket and balsamic vinegar. A platter for two. When instead we wanted to order two appetizers. Oh well. Never mind. Then the roast duck, good, with potatoes in small quantities. For dessert a salted caramel chocolate mousse, excellent, and a slice of tart with amaretti. At the end of the meal a nocino, offered at the time of the bill. I can't say I ate badly, but whoever took the order, having been warned that it was our first time, should have presented the dishes and understood from our questions that we were there to eat goose, which is only present in the cold cuts. Perhaps an update of the site would be appropriate.
11/05/2025: Magnificent atmosphere for an unexpected dinner. Let yourself be amazed by the goose specialties, the cured meats with fried pie are really excellent.

07/05/2025: Il locale è curato, con un grande dehor che dà sulla piazza del Duomo e del Battistero. Interni con arredamento originale, un mix di contemporaneo e tradizionale e (nota di merito) fiori freschi su ogni tavolo. Non potevamo esimerci dall'assaggio del prosciutto, con torta fritta di accompagnamento. A seguire anolini in brodo e duchessa di Parma. Prezzi nella norma a parte i dolci che ho trovato cari (tutti a 10 euro alla carta) anche se a dire il vero non li ho provati e non li ho visti, pertanto non posso giudicarne le porzioni.

28/04/2025: A very pleasant discovery, we happened to pass by this place on a Sunday when it was over-booked but despite this the kindness of the owner and the staff made us sit down and served us very well. Extensive menu with typical local Calabrian products, good choice of wines and very high quality of food. Prices really low compared to the norm.
16/04/2025: Very friendly staff, excellent service. Or eaten a second course of superlative fried cod.
