17/02/2026: Very good pizza both with and without gluten, rich and varied menu with several GF options. Very kind waiters, attentive to gluten-free service, they also have the expert gluten-free uniform, welcoming with dogs, they brought us a bowl for water on their own initiative.

15/02/2026: From the moment we entered we waited 1 hour before receiving our dishes, among other things they arrived after 1 hour but they arrived with pasta that was too undercooked and sour tomato.

08/09/2025: A true institution in Bologna. A very elegant venue, with top-notch professional service. They have an extensive wine cellar, perfectly suited to the setting, perfect for a business lunch or dinner with friends, but always in a fairly formal setting. Highly recommended!!

07/03/2026: Let's start with the positives: the place is beautiful and welcoming, the waiters are kind and helpful, but let's get to the sore point: we ate terribly. The passatelli in broth were so salty they were inedible, the grilled meat tasted stale, the grilled vegetables were cold from the fridge, the grilled tomino was cold and undercooked. At the end of the meal, we left almost everything, and my daughter said, "Lucky Dad, there was bread!" We reported this to the waiters, who were understanding and apologetic, but the bill remained the same. The coffee was good! In conclusion, we won't be returning, and we're sad because the place deserves it! Perhaps there's something in the kitchen that needs updating!

14/02/2026: Disappointing Valentine's Day dinner. Following the positive reviews for Valentine's Day last year, I decided to make a reservation. It's easy to imagine there was a special menu, although I wasn't told about it over the phone. We ordered a €15 appetizer that looked promising, but what arrived were ~50g of culatello, 2 fried gnocchi, 1 tablespoon of squacquerone, and 1 tablespoon of caramelized figs to share. When ordering, the waitress never mentioned that it wasn't enough for two (when in fact it would have been enough for one). We politely pointed out that we had higher hopes for the entrees, and were told that on Valentine's Day, appetizers aren't shared—an obvious unwritten rule of the restaurant that, mea culpa, I wasn't aware of, having always shared. The entrees were passable. We avoided venturing further after reading more reviews of the restaurant, which must have recently changed management.

20/03/2026: I went to eat at a restaurant. They gave me rotten food. Their behavior was terrible, and the place was very dirty. Don't be fooled by appearances; all that glitters is not gold.

01/09/2025: We went for a quick lunch after our arrival in Cervia... really excellent piadina, kind and friendly staff, the only flaw being a classic kiosk there are few places to sit and the rubbish bins were a bit close... but all in all I would stop to eat again

17/02/2026: I ordered at 12.10pm and the delivery was at 2.30pm with cold food, poor quality dried meat, without the French fries I paid for and with mayonnaise that had expired a month ago.

31/01/2026: We entered proud of having found a comfortable place, good prices, I saw the service and the food on display. The acidic olives they put in the kebab piadina ruin everything and the spiciness was overwhelming. PS: my friend is sick and I had to take him to the hospital for a stomach virus.

15/02/2026: A very charming, refined, and well-maintained atmosphere. Nicely set tables, and coat racks at the entrance. The restaurant is accessible by stairs or elevator. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Delicious dishes, from appetizers to desserts. The paid parking in the basement of the hotel is super convenient. Overall, a positive experience!

05/02/2026: A real shame. The place has a lot of potential: the restaurant is very elegant, and the service was prompt and courteous. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the expectations created by the setting. The dishes are carefully presented (gourmet only in appearance), but the technical execution leaves much to be desired. Specifics: ​Octopus: too tough in texture. ​Beef carpaccio: difficult to chew, probably not properly aged. ​Bologna cutlet: the addition of truffle didn't save an overall bland dish. ​Side dish: fries arrived soft, not crispy. ​The only redeeming feature was the dessert, which was decent. I hope they rethink the kitchen management, because the location deserves better.

04/03/2026: I returned from "Momento 25" with mixed feelings. Let's start with the strong point: the food. The dishes show excellent potential, with well-rounded flavors and quality ingredients that are definitely worth a try. Personally, I'd expand the dessert menu, perhaps by bringing something with my coffee. For example, a simple sbrisolona cake costs €4... considering the number of guests, it's enough for a day. The service was also excellent: the staff were courteous, attentive, and ready to offer advice. Unfortunately, the only downside is the interior. The restaurant is located in a beautiful historic building in the center of Carpi, but the architectural potential seems almost wasted. The decor appears haphazard and inconsistent: between posters on the walls, Lego flowers, black sculptures, and a bookcase, the atmosphere feels a bit confusing and lacks a clear identity. The outdoor space is much more pleasant and well-kept, but unfortunately, it's unusable in the winter. The price is average and fair for the quality of the food.

18/01/2026: Let me start by saying that the only negative thing is the quality-price ratio. In terms of flavor, everything was very good, really! The staff were helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. However, considering the price paid at the end of the meal, I don't think it was exactly right... The portion sizes were really small, a bit too much for a main course, as was the case with my "Open-faced gratin squid with potatoes, mushrooms, and porcini mushroom powder." The selection of chocolate and biscuits was equally... well, quantitatively unsatisfactory. It's a shame, because in other respects, it was truly excellent.

13/01/2026: Il Pappagallo in Cattolica... A place all in all, not bad, but nothing exceptional... perhaps the only place in Italy where the four-cheese pizza is made with tomato... When I asked the person who brought me the pizza, who was the owner, but did you make the four-cheese pizza with tomato...?!? He just replied, "It's on the menu..." I said, "Sorry, you're right!" After a minute, I had the pizza taken away... After 10 minutes, he came back and said... He sent the pizza back... "If you want, I'll remake the plain pizza..." So I said no, thanks, and didn't eat. I said... I made a mistake, I didn't read it, and I'll pay for everything, as I did, but I don't want to eat at this place... My friends ate... If the owner of the place, seeing my disapproval shortly before, had said RIGHT NOW, if you don't like it I'll make it again white (without responding as he had before), I would have accepted, but he only came after I sent the pizza back, and for this reason, for me there are no excuses and I won't give him a second chance. At the end of a terrible day in which my car broke down in Pesaro and I was forced to stop in Cattolica... I was just hoping for a peaceful evening and instead they ruined it for me... So I don't give this place more than a star. There is no empathy... The desire to want to change the pizza only after I sent it back saying... it's not that I'll be poorer if I make you another one... For me it's one, it's the wrong response that deserves nothing. I know that in the end I didn't eat and I paid anyway... But the satisfaction of eating after the way he had behaved, I didn't give him and I didn't want to give it to him. So, remember when you go to the parrot, read the menu carefully, if you really have to go there... and if you order the four cheese pizza, say right away that you want it plain like they make it in the rest of the world!

12/11/2025: I happened to be in the area for work and had lunch at this restaurant, which is OPEN during the low season. The spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the mussels were plentiful. The price was in line with what I ate and the prices, which are all displayed. The daily specials were excellent, including the meat dishes, which I didn't try, but the diners next to me complimented them, so... The owner was friendly; when I entered early, he was playing cards with a gentleman. The overall feel is authentic. I think I'll be back soon.
