I need to revise my review I left a while ago. First, I've noticed some flaws left by the previous management. Second, the current management is lacking in every way, with a lack of friendliness, poor timing (with only a few tables occupied), and fries below McDonald's standards, paired with a main course that falls far short of the definition of a trattoria. I won't repeat this experience.

Beautiful and welcoming establishment. We ordered meat, but everything was very mediocre. We asked for the medium-rare tagliata, which consisted of five pieces of cooked meat, served with a handful of McDonald's-style matchstick fries. The imperial grill was canteen-quality, both in presentation and quantity. The millefeuille dessert was beautifully presented, though it was a shame the two rectangles of millefeuille tasted of onion. At 10:40 PM, the waiter cleared our table and stood in a corner waiting for us to leave, truly impolite. Aside from the onion wig, I'd say it's an experience I wouldn't repeat or recommend. Paola O.

19/06/2026: I've been there many times; they have various discounts for Unibo students. The food is good, and it's a great place for breakfast. The only downside is the opening hours; they'd be better off changing them to around 9:00 because in three years of going there, they've never opened to the public at 8:30. At this time, they're just starting to clean up.
19/05/2026: Very good food, the atmosphere is phenomenal - if you want to get something to eat or drink coffee while studying - this is the best place in Bologna to do so.

06/07/2026: We stopped in for coffee in the early morning. The desserts and coffees were delicious. The location was excellent. We had a lovely time relaxing in the garden in the beautiful weather. The only minor drawback was the wait time for our order to be served and for it to be delivered in installments. Therefore, one star less.
06/07/2026: Classic "grand café" in Italy that now serves Negronis to tourists sitting in the sun. Cakes in the windows seemed cheap and a little childish but in fact the local bakery turned out very good and competent. Service was lacking a bit and we had to wait for 20 minutes to pay at the cashier ourselves and nobody even said bye.
