16/05/2026: Wonderful location and very pleasant restaurant … nicer than photos online suggest. Warm welcome and tasty food. However after warm welcome the service became pretty raw. Food slapped down - and staff seemed generally miserable. Very unlike any experience on this amazing island. When we left and said goodbye and thank you, staff totally ignored us.

01/05/2026: 🌊 Al Bikini Beach, Vico Equense – My Experience 🇮🇹 Today I spent some time at Al Bikini Beach, and honestly, it felt absolutely next level! 💙 The water is so clear and blue that it instantly refreshes your mind. The beach is very clean and well-organized — the sunbeds and umbrellas are arranged beautifully. 🍽️ Food & Drinks: The seafood and pizza at the restaurant were really delicious. Sitting there with a chilled drink creates a completely different vibe. 🎶 Atmosphere: Soft background music was playing, and since it was the weekend, there was a slight party mood — but not disturbing at all, rather very enjoyable. 🌅 Best part: The sunset view! As the sun was going down, the sky turned orange-pink — simply unforgettable. ⚠️ A few things to note: - It gets a bit crowded on weekends - Better to book in advance ⭐ Overall rating: 9/10 A perfect place to relax, enjoy, and spend quality time!

26/04/2026: Last night, April 25th, several venues organized drinks and disco nights, including Bikini in Vico Equense: €30 entry, the option to register online... and that's where the jokes begin. Because they've clearly inflated the list beyond all limits. Pure overbooking. People on the list with no real guarantee of getting in. This is unfair, and should be clearly stated, not hidden. My daughter, her boyfriend, and their friends were on the list as expected. They arrived around 5:30 PM and... surprise: there was no parking. After endless searches, they were forced to go to Castellammare, to the Stone parking lot, which had a "partnership" with Bikini on that occasion. Price? €20. And only those on the list could park. That alone makes you smile bitterly. Moral of the story: they park, walk over a kilometer... they get to the entrance, and the guy at the Bikini gate dismisses everyone with a "it's full, no one else can get in." Get it? People on the list left out like nothing happened! At that point, they go back to at least ask for a refund for the parking fee. After all, they only left their car for about fifteen minutes. The answer? No. Because "the service was provided." What service, exactly? Parking for a place that then refuses you entry? And it doesn't end there: it also turns out that a portion of those €20 was given to Bikini as a percentage, according to the parking attendant. So, a well-oiled system to collect money anyway, even from those who never set foot inside. Final result: €20 wasted, a ruined evening, and no refund! This isn't a mix-up. This is improper, organized, and profoundly disrespectful behavior toward customers! As far as I'm concerned, this beach can continue to be a "posh" and "snobbish" beach as much as it wants: it will never, ever see my money! In fact, I've never been there... And after this experience, neither have my daughter's and her friends'. People aren't like ATMs to be squeezed and thrown away! SHAME! 😏

17/05/2026: The welcome wasn't very warm. The young man didn't seem very keen on putting his best foot forward. His English, on the other hand, was fine. After some back-and-forth conversation, his 'cocky behavior' melted away too. The little man on the street who waved us inside was actually very friendly and hospitable. And the waiters at the accompanying restaurant made it a great experience all over again. They really enjoyed their work conjuring up a good atmosphere for their guests. The campsite's location is excellent for a day trip to Pompeii and a day trip to Naples by train. It is less than a 5-minute walk from the small station that takes you to the center of this raw, atmospheric city in 40 minutes. The sanitary facilities are really just barely adequate. You can barely turn around in the shower, let alone keep your clothes dry there. With ACSI, €25 is actually too much, but especially for a city campsite, it is fairly busy.

16/05/2026: The location is amazing, right across the archeological park. The restaurant has great food & service for reasonable pricing. They also have hotel rooms with great AC, beds and parking. They also have spots for campers as well.

19/05/2026: WE WERE LITERALLY HUMILIATED After four years, having returned to the city for a few days, I decided to return to the restaurant I had fond memories of when I was younger. Unfortunately, from the first moment we (there were four of us) set foot in the restaurant, those memories were completely destroyed by the squalid and mediocre reality of the time: first of all, when we entered, they made us sit at the children's table (and keep in mind that my brother and I are 2 meters tall...) and, despite our constant requests to push two tables together (there were others available), the RUDE staff repeatedly refused to push another table together, saying that other customers were waiting (spoiler: no more customers came in). Furthermore, when we asked to order, one waiter in particular INSULTED AND MISTREATED us, saying "e t si appen assittat e già vuò ordinà?" (Translated: You just sat down and already want to order?). This was the dramatic first alarm bell. But we are polite people, and that's why we didn't leave (but we absolutely should have). The same RUDE WAITER then took our order... COMPLETELY WRONG. As you can also see in the attached photos (I should point out that we had specifically asked for PENNE AL POMODORO), this is the DISGUSTING DISH THAT WAS BROUGHT TO US... oh, by the way, we had ordered PENNE AL POMODORO, and when we then mentioned this to this subhuman waiter, THIS RUDE WAITER DARED TO SAY THAT WE ARE STUPID (and I swear I'm not kidding) AND THAT THE CAMERAS COULD TESTIFY THAT HE WAS RIGHT!! Now, I don't know if the rude waiter in question was frustrated by not doing the job he wanted (but those are life choices, right?), or maybe it's because after a certain age, the brain starts playing tricks on this type of person, but being (I repeat) INSULTED IN THIS WAY IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A RESTAURANT (if Alba can even be called one anymore). The icing on the cake: we brought this to the attention of the restaurant's owner, who, instead of firmly condemning the rude waiter (or at least warning him), glossed over the VERY SERIOUS INCIDENT as if it had never happened. Now, I don't want to tar everyone with the same brush, because fortunately in Naples there are many restaurants where politeness and civility are THE FOUNDATION of mutual respect, but I've NEVER EXPERIENCED certain situations in other parts of Italy (not to mention Europe in general, where people are much more polite and decent). I strongly advise against eating at this restaurant, and if my experience hasn't convinced you, I'll add that the food is terrible (not up to the standard of the restaurant it was until a few years ago), as you can see from the photos, and the prices are also VERY HIGH. For the same price, in this wonderful city, you could eat 1,000 times better... AND WITHOUT BEING MISTREATED.

18/05/2026: The food was tasty and well prepared, but the service left an unpleasant impression. Throughout most of the evening, two staff members were standing near our table constantly watching us and looking at our plates, which created a very uncomfortable and tense atmosphere. At one point, I had simply paused eating for a moment to take a break, and I was immediately asked why I wasn’t eating. This felt very inappropriate and gave me the impression that the staff wanted us to finish quickly and leave. Customers should be able to enjoy their dinner in peace without feeling watched or rushed..

08/05/2026: The panuozzo was a bit undercooked for all three of us. You can't pay 8 euros for a Margherita: in central Naples, where they make a real Margherita, it costs even less. The price of the panuozzi was also a bit exaggerated. There are definitely better places, both in terms of location, service, and especially prices. Oh, I forgot: a portion of fries costs 4 euros... please! For me, it was the first and last time. Fluid.

03/05/2026: The service and the food are incredible. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and what a find... it's delicious and very generous portions. Don't hesitate if you're in the area. Best pizza in Italy since the beginning of our trip!!!

23/05/2026: The place is back, the pizza is poor, the service is horrible, the waiters forgot the deliveries, the only good thing is the Pepsi, the owner is arrogant and presumptuous in the way she answers, on the menu there are pizzas, then you order them and they say you have to pay for them separately, the only waiter who made himself available is the one with white hair, for the rest it's not worth it

02/05/2026: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was decidedly negative, primarily due to the service. The waiter was unfriendly and visibly annoyed from the start. The main problem arose when I pointed out that my appetizer was missing ingredients clearly listed on the menu. Instead of apologizing, the waiter annoyedly took the dish back and brought it back shortly afterward, practically identical to the original, without adding anything. This completely rude and unprofessional attitude ruined the meal. It's a shame, because a customer who complains politely deserves a little more attention. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

13/04/2026: When we finally arrived in Naples, we ate fried pizza! We ordered a pizza to go. We only had one, as it was quite large. It was delicious! The chef made it just the way we wanted it, with ricotta and cooked ham! The pizza dough was delicious, soft, delicious, and perfect. The service was prompt and fast! The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and smiling. We'll be back!! Thank you again ❤️

11/04/2026: I recently tried Caprizza and I have to say it was a great experience overall. The pizza is really good, with a light, well-leavened dough, typical of Neapolitan tradition. The ingredients are high-quality, and you can taste it, especially in the simpler pizzas where the authentic flavor shines through. The whole-wheat pizza option is also excellent, perfect for those who want something lighter. The fried foods are also delicious, crispy and not heavy, ideal for sharing before pizza. The menu is quite varied: in addition to pizzas, it also includes first courses, second courses, and a variety of salads, a perfect option for those who want a light meal without sacrificing flavor. The place is welcoming and well-kept, ideal for an evening with friends or family. The service is fast, and the staff is helpful and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion: I definitely recommend this pizzeria, especially if you're in Vomero and want to eat well, with a wide selection, and without spending too much.

04/06/2026: It's rare to find a restaurant within a park serving excellent cuisine and quality products. Recommended by a lifeguard as traditional, we were pleasantly surprised to sample the innovations of Gabby (the restaurant's chef), who begins preparing her delicious dishes at dawn. The wait staff is equally courteous and professional.

01/06/2026: Booked this restaurant for lunch during a visit to Negumbo. Surprised the final bill was 100 euros for lunch - we had a caprese (18 euros?) fried calamari (dry & hard), anchovies, french fries, a glass of bad white wine, and a shared gnocchetti (not handmade) with some bits of shrimp and squid (25 euros for this primo?) Go next door and eat at the very delicious and reasonable pizzeria instead. How can this be the most expensive meal (lunch & dinner) we had out of our 4 day holiday in Ischia?

01/04/2026: I booked a pastiera for March 30th and they asked for a €5 deposit (thank goodness they settled for so little), but they found it easier to misunderstand and book it three days in advance. They then withheld the deposit, which I therefore lost, and charged me for not picking it up on the day they had scheduled. If they had wanted the €5 as a charitable contribution, I would have given it to them anyway. Terrible experience. I will never go there again and I advise everyone against going there.

02/11/2025: I tried the saltimbocca and I must say that it is truly a joy for the palate, an ancient cooking technique designed specifically to create the effect of external crunchiness that however does not affect the softness and the flavor of the sandwich itself, truly exceptional, I am amazed.
