21/06/2025: If there were fewer stars than none, there are multiple categories where that fits Il Convivio. While the mediocre food is tolerable, the service is just appalling, to where you have to wonder if the name of the restaurant is intended as a joke for all who walk through. The only guarantee is that the staff will listen to you smiling and then immediately forget everything you just said to them. That may be too kind. They probably didn’t forget, they just don’t care. I watched them ignore people, forget entire orders, bring the wrong plates, or stagger food to where people at the same table ate their meals while other people had not been served at all. The restaurant may have been established before the use of salt, which would explain the food. I wouldn’t wish this restaurant on anyone except MAGAs. If your MAGAs, this is a MUST visit. You will love it!

19/06/2025: The food was very good. We ate grilled fish (we recommend it), gnocchi with gorgonzola and pear (rather weak), octopus (a plus) and pizza (nicely done, a plus), mozzarella with tomato (you can't mess anything up here). The service was very efficient and helpful. The prices were very decent.

05/06/2025: Cena del 2 giugno con amici. Solo per me era la prima volta. Ho finalmente mangiato il coniglio all’ischitana ed era buonissimo. Antipasti ottimi. Parmigiana strepitosa. Si può migliorare sui dolci ma buoni anche quelli. Location molto suggestiva e carina! Tornerò sicura…

25/05/2025: The staff here are so friendly they make you feel very welcome from the moment they see you. The food and the wine were amazing. We visited twice because of the warm welcome and the amazing views. We don’t usually go back to the same place twice. The value for money here is incredible. Really do highly recommend this place. 29/05/2025: We did not stay at the hotel but we did eat at the restaurant a couple of times. The first time all went well, but the second time was disappointing. The second time we went ( as a medium sized group of seven ), the waiter quoted us 7 Euros each for a group appetiser platter but charged us much, much more. Be careful!!! Unacceptable business practise!!

08/06/2025: Esta joya de la isla ofrece una experiencia gastronómica tan inolvidable como sus vistas panorámicas del castillo y el majestuoso Monte Vesubio. La comida es una clase magistral de creatividad, cada plato cuidadosamente elaborado con sabores audaces y presentación elegante. Desde el primer bocado hasta el último, cada curso sorprende y satisface. El atento servicio añade un toque personal, haciendo que los huéspedes se sientan cálidamente bienvenidos y bien cuidados. Ver el atardecer arrojar luz dorada sobre el mar y el volcán lejano es nada menos que impresionante. Es el tipo de lugar que convierte una comida en un recuerdo.

01/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante attratti anche dalle recensioni. Cibo ottimo e personale gentilissimo. Ma non basta a giustificare il costo esagerato sia dei piatti che del vino. Troppo caro per la cena consumata. Il locale infatti era praticamente vuoto.

16/05/2025: This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to during my Italy trip. We were a little hesitant based on the reviews but the food was amazing and servers were great! The pizza was delicious and so was everything else on the menu. Deserve 5 stars!

08/02/2025: Ieri sera abbiamo festeggiato 50esimo di mio marito devo dire che è stato tutto perfetto ma quello che mi ha sconvolta sono i croche' del signor Antonio che mi hanno lasciato senza parole buonissimi ,ottimo cibo in generale tutto fresco bene cucinato e servito. Un grazie va al signor Aldo che ci ha fatto divertire con il suo caraoke e la sua allegria non meno i camerieri stupendi gentile e velocissimi. Ci siamo sentiti severamente soddisfatti della scelta fatta ci ritorneremo sicuramente consiglio a tutti di andare anche i bambini si diverto tanto un grande abbraccio e grazie di tutto

20/06/2025: A SCAM, DON'T GO! The only bad thing about Capri: The absurdly high price for two plates of pasta with a little bit of fish. We literally felt ripped off. We were never told the weight of the fish, nor was it 1 kg like they claim. They also charged us €15 for each side of pasta. A scam. Two plates of little food and a water for €135, absurd.

08/06/2025: Very good restaurant, very decent, on Saturday we asked for dishes to take away, I didn't understand at first but in the end they were super attentive, on Sunday we went there and ordered drinks and pizzas, and both were very good.

04/06/2025: Ci siamo arrivate al termine di una lunga giornata di cammino con l'aspettativa alta visto "che a Napoli la pizza è ottima ". Non qui...arrivata in fretta si , ma quasi fredda..l'impasto gommoso insomma indigesta. Ti devi apparecchiare tu e bicchieri sono in plastica...la nota positiva economica...ma meglio digiunare.

08/06/2025: The place is quite nice, spacious and has plenty of seating outside too. We booked for Saturday night at 9pm and were welcomed right away. Since there is only one oven and it was a Saturday night, the wait for the pizzas was a bit long (about an hour), but in the meantime we tasted one of their specialties: the stuffed croquette, really delicious. The pizzas were excellent: we ordered two Margherites and two Tronchettis, all prepared with top quality ingredients. A special mention goes to the waiting staff: kind and friendly waiters. Another plus point are the owners, especially Mrs. Marisa (if I remember correctly), very friendly and available to satisfy any need. More than excellent quality/price ratio. I highly recommend it!
