09/08/2026: Very kind staff, excellent food!!

07/08/2026: An honest trattoria, in terms of food and prices. Good pans, without "heavy" oil, delicious flavors with filling portions. I asked for a 2nd glass of wine and it came almost....the bottle!!!! We had no problems with the waiters, quite the opposite.

23/05/2026: We went to dinner last night for a friend's birthday. The location is beautiful and very welcoming, but that's all I remember. The service left much to be desired; the waiters were exhausted, annoyed, and confused. They shouted and argued among themselves, knowing they wouldn't be understood since it's a place frequented by many tourists. We ordered an appetizer of fried, exclusive frozen items that they didn't even bother to defrost properly. Followed by three first courses: the classic gnocco alla sorrentina, oh my god, terrible!! The paccheri alla genovese and the lasagna were at least passable. Perhaps our mistake was choosing a place that was too touristy for dinner, but we realized that right away.

22/05/2026: I'm sure the food is good, but we couldn't get a reservation, and when we asked if we could enter while waiting in line, we were almost kicked out. The woman in charge inside was incredibly rude and very angry. It was a disgrace. Saying "you can't enter" would have been enough.

17/05/2026: The welcome wasn't very warm. The young man didn't seem very keen on putting his best foot forward. His English, on the other hand, was fine. After some back-and-forth conversation, his 'cocky behavior' melted away too. The little man on the street who waved us inside was actually very friendly and hospitable. And the waiters at the accompanying restaurant made it a great experience all over again. They really enjoyed their work conjuring up a good atmosphere for their guests. The campsite's location is excellent for a day trip to Pompeii and a day trip to Naples by train. It is less than a 5-minute walk from the small station that takes you to the center of this raw, atmospheric city in 40 minutes. The sanitary facilities are really just barely adequate. You can barely turn around in the shower, let alone keep your clothes dry there. With ACSI, €25 is actually too much, but especially for a city campsite, it is fairly busy.

16/05/2026: The location is amazing, right across the archeological park. The restaurant has great food & service for reasonable pricing. They also have hotel rooms with great AC, beds and parking. They also have spots for campers as well.

18/12/2025: I had the privilege of enjoying this lovely meal with a splendid view of the sea. The pasta was delicious, and the service was very friendly, even though I had arrived (unbeknownst to me) before dinner opening time. Furthermore, the prices seemed fair considering the breathtaking view the restaurant offers.

28/09/2025: Excellent location, right on the sea (we're in Ischia, in the Sant'Angelo area). You pay the right amount and eat very well. We had spaghetti with octopus and potatoes... recommended.

16/05/2026: Wonderful location and very pleasant restaurant … nicer than photos online suggest. Warm welcome and tasty food. However after warm welcome the service became pretty raw. Food slapped down - and staff seemed generally miserable. Very unlike any experience on this amazing island. When we left and said goodbye and thank you, staff totally ignored us.

02/11/2025: I tried the saltimbocca and I must say that it is truly a joy for the palate, an ancient cooking technique designed specifically to create the effect of external crunchiness that however does not affect the softness and the flavor of the sandwich itself, truly exceptional, I am amazed.

25/04/2026: The Primaver restaurant/pizzeria on the outskirts of San Gennaro Vesuviano is a venue originally designed for receptions but has also adapted to handle smaller groups. The venue features a large furnished outdoor area and two indoor dining rooms. The decor is a bit dated, and sports events are not available. The staff is friendly but service can be a bit slow. The cuisine is its strong point, especially considering the current climate. We had a seafood dinner. All the dishes were simple but well-prepared. The house wine was decent, and the desserts were delicious. I recommend it, especially for an evening with friends.

31/07/2026: Very slow personal. Ordered a pizza and a risotto, pizza arrived and was told that risotto was 10 minutes away. We finished pizza and 25 minutes later the risotto arrived. Risotto was not even good. Asked for the check and it took them another 20 minutes to come with it after asking 3 times for it.

30/07/2026: Terrible experience. The fried seafood was completely raw and tasteless, inedible, and sent back. The appetizers were less than mediocre. The only positive note, if you can call it a positive one, was the middle-aged waiter, very polite and helpful. I wouldn't recommend it.

08/05/2026: Dinner with friends who had never been here before. They were thrilled with the deliciousness of the dishes and have vowed to return as soon as possible. If you love stockfish and cod, it's hard to find better. You also have to try the octopus in a glass jar. A real treat.

18/04/2026: There is NO à la carte menu to consult the prices (all dishes and wines are told to you by the waiter, but it's annoying to have them tell you the prices of each individual dish), so you rely on the waiter. The appetizers are good, the first courses are good, even the cod, both fried and casseroled, is good, even the carpaccio is good, but everything is bland. As for the price, I'll let you judge for yourself based on what you eat (see photos and attached receipt), everything in the photos and for 3 people.

16/05/2026: These are the best pizzas I've ever eaten. They're inexpensive, but they're the same "pizza a portafoglio" you get in Naples. Plus, they're perfectly cooked, and I highly recommend them. My dad has always had problems with other pizzas because they made him bloated, but with this one he says it doesn't bother him at all. A well-deserved 5 stars.

16/05/2026: The Scarpariello and Bufalina fillet pizzas are truly delicious, thin and cooked to perfection. Just like a true Neapolitan pizza ❤️

19/05/2026: A good lounge bar with a view of the lake. Worth a visit. You can also stroll along the lake shore.

06/05/2026: Very nice place, friendly staff. Also excellent for lunch, as well as an aperitif. Good value for money.
