20/08/2025: Unique and charming location. The staff was kind and friendly, although service wasn't always prompt. The food was good, with exquisite flavors. My pasta was very al dente, which I liked, but those who prefer a softer texture might find it a bit off-putting. The Ischian meatballs were excellent: definitely worth a try!

12/07/2025: I'm from Vomero by birth and have been a regular at Pizzeria Alba since I was a kid, frequenting it with my parents. The quality of the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere remain consistently high! I've eaten everything from the excellent, light and easily digestible pizza to the flavorful fried foods, the exquisite first and second courses, not to mention the variety and flavor of the desserts. In my opinion, it's an excellent pizzeria and a remarkable restaurant, a rare gem in Vomero. But I wonder, why are the most negative and misleading reviews coming from travel guides? Perhaps they would have preferred not to pay? Before demolishing a culinary masterpiece, you need to be honest, but then again, among us loyal customers, word of mouth is enough; in fact, the place is always packed and the fake reviews slide right off our backs!!! 12/07/2025: I hadn't been here for a while. A disappointment. Terrible food, poorly presented. The quality-price ratio was nonexistent.

06/07/2025: The waiters are too close, almost pushing the customer to choose dishes that are obviously more expensive. The pizza is good, the food looks good but the menu prices are a little above average. The local wine is excellent for the quality/price ratio.

01/09/2025: A delightful trattoria in the Spanish Quarter! There were seven of us and we had a wonderful meal. Reasonable prices and fresh fish.

31/08/2025: If you're passing through Naples' Spanish Quarter, you can't miss the trattoria 'O Vesuvio! A warm welcome, a simple and authentic atmosphere: here you immediately feel at home. The dishes are prepared with care and flavor, without unnecessary frills but with a lot of passion. A genuine, tidy, and honest place that perfectly represents the true Naples. Highly recommended for a tasty tourist break and a chat with the owner, a delightful person.

13/08/2025: A journey between sea and steam: geothermal cuisine that amazes. ​I visited the EMANUELA Bar/Restaurant expecting a simple seafood dinner on the beach, but I found so much more. The idea of cooking with the heat of the earth here isn't just a gimmick to attract tourists, but the beating heart of the place. ​As soon as we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking view: the room opens directly onto the sea. The atmosphere is elegant yet informal. ​I ordered the octopus at Filippo, which was steamed and incredibly full of flavor. Geothermal cooking enhances the freshness of the ingredients without altering their flavor, making every bite a sensory experience. The presentation of the dishes is also refined and minimalist, just like the flavors you perceive. ​The service was attentive and friendly, ready to explain how geothermal cuisine works. A 360-degree experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to try something truly new. I will definitely be back.

31/07/2025: This place is amazing. The food is better than most restaurants we have been in around Sorrento. You find locals eating here which is a good thing. There is so much history within. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed. We will be back ourselves.

31/07/2025: Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced—ever. The server recommended the Fettuccini Alfredo without mentioning it came with mushrooms. When it arrived and I explained I couldn’t eat mushrooms, I was told “tough luck”—not once, but by two servers. They refused to remove the mushrooms and insisted I either eat it or share it with someone at my table. I was embarrassed in front of my family for something that could’ve been handled with basic courtesy. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I do not recommend this place.

29/06/2025: O’Break Restaurant in Naples is a simply wonderful place, with a breathtaking view of the sea and Castel Nuovo. The place is perfect for enjoying an aperitif with tasty and well-prepared dishes, accompanied by excellent drinks. After the aperitif, you can continue with a dinner or lunch at the restaurant, where the service is attentive and friendly, and the dishes are truly excellent. A complete experience, between taste, panorama and hospitality. Highly recommended!

23/08/2025: If you arrive too late, you have to sign up for a waiting list and wait for the tables to become available. We waited about 15 minutes and arrived at 1:00 PM. The food was top-notch, the gluten-free pizza was cooked in a separate oven and was the best I've ever had. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was a bit chaotic at the street tables, but overall, it was a great experience 🔝

14/08/2025: Exorbitant prices, significantly worsened food quality, and supermarket-quality wines... €32 for a fried fish dish, and the "wrong" one at that: we ordered calamari and prawns, but instead we were served half a mixed fried fish dish without even asking (probably for their personal reasons), resulting in a price increase: €6 for a cicinielli fritter, €10 for a tiny, rubbery grilled octopus with two rocket leaves (while the menu described it as having a side dish), €16 for a half bottle of quality, more-than-popular wine. The wine list is limited, and the prices are often quadrupled. We'd been very happy the other times, what a shame!

20/07/2025: durante un breve soggiorno a Portici sono andato, su consiglio di un amico del luogo, insieme alla mia famiglia a cena presso il ristorante O' Cuopp dove abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo. Che dire, locale molto bello e caratteristico, cibo ottimo così come i dolci, servizio eccellente, personale cordiale e simpatico. Prezzo in rapporto alla qualità e al servizio ottimo. 21/06/2025: It's a pleasant weekly appointment now! There are so many super gourmet pizzerias now, but we are for tradition! Always the same, Margherita provola and pepper made excellently I have tried others, but nothing is unbeatable! Before the pizza two giant crocche' made of potatoes of an unparalleled exquisiteness! Everyone is very kind, now the waiter of great professionalism and friendliness knows perfectly what we will order😂 Do we want to talk about the prices? Unbeatable, the only ones still where you can go with your family for dinner and not break the bank.

24/08/2025: A sublime setting under the lemon trees, delicious cuisine, and top-notch service. A big thank you to Gennaro, who was attentive from start to finish. I highly recommend the lobster pasta, the eggplant gratin, and the gnocchi.

06/09/2025: I was staying at an AirBnB nearby. On my first night in Naples, I walked by this unassuming restaurant. What caught my eyes were the picture of their Zuppa di cozze alla Napoletana. I decided to drop by hear the next night for dinner. I started off having the zuppa di cozze follow by a fresh pasta with octopus. Holy smoke, the zuppa is should a a full meal. It came out in a giant bowl loaded with mussels, clams, shrimps, and octopus. Under the seafood was 2 pieces of bread that soaked up the soup. All of this for 13 euro. I was almost full by the time that I finished the zuppa. I decided to have my pasta to go because I would not be able to make a dent on the pasta. The service was fantastic. I was lucky that night, there was a guy playing the guitar. He was AWESOME!!!!!
