16/05/2026: This is my second visit to Italy and I am on my ninth day of the trip, but I have never seen a Michelin 2-star restaurant like this before. I am writing this review while praying that this is the last one. First, I visited the 2-star Glem in Venice, which was the highest level of 2-star. Last Monday, I went to the 3-star Osteria Francesca in Modena, which lived up to its reputation as the best. On Wednesday, the 1-star Otto di Vito Mollica in Florence was just as good as a 2-star. And on Thursday, the 2-star Santa Elisabetta was at a level where it wouldn't be surprising if it received a 3-star rating. Finally, I came all the way to Naples and visited George Restaurant, and while the view is 3-star, the service is worse than a trattoria. In particular, Sommelier Marco was the worst, most unfriendly, and strange person I have ever seen. It is unbelievable that someone like that is getting paid to provide service. Also, overall, the number of serving staff was too small to match a 2-star rating, making it feel like a neighborhood diner. The servers were indifferent and lazy. The female staff were rude as well; in any case, this place is not worth spending money on. I ordered the 9-course tasting for €270 and drank Dom Pérignon Rosé for €550, paying over €1,000, yet I did not receive proper service at all. I am spending over €10,000 on wine alone on this trip, and it feels like a waste of money here. Anyway, while Michelin is supposed to evaluate only taste, in my opinion, only the view deserves at least two stars. Everything else is just neighborhood bistro level.

24/04/2026: We travelled from London especially to dine at George Restaurant Napoli and certainly were not disappointed. Exceptionally elegant surroundings coupled with a fine view, we opted for the 7 course taster menu 'since 2018', and were taken on a wonderful culinary journey by the Head Chef and his very professional team. Excellent ingredients - all cooked, prepared and served with care, skill, expertise, intelligence and passion. The whole team compliment each other well and everybody works very hard at all times - we enjoyed watching and feeling the high level of concentration and calmness radiating from the professional kitchen. A special shout out and thank you to the Sommelier who looked after us so well throughout - balancing good conversation, offering a personal service that felt genuine whilst remaining professional at all times is not an easy task - impeccable English having worked in London previously - he is an asset to the establishment and really helped to contribute to our overall feeling of complete satisfaction. Very much hope to visit Napoli again in the future and would return in a heartbeat.

30/12/2025: (I'm local) Unfortunately, this is not an experience I would recommend ever. The food was not fresh (the ravioli were soggy, broken, and served with a very watery sauce), and cleanliness was seriously lacking (dusty glasses and hands touching the dishes). The prices are very high for the quality offered. Almost 100€ for 1 anchioves, clearly not fresh fried, 2 ravioli, 1 water, half house wine. It did not feel like an authentic Caprese experience or Italian level. The owner was kind and the place itself is very nice, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end.

02/04/2026: New management, renovated restaurant, and updated menu and dough. Go try it now because it's worth it. If you don't want to go, it's your own business, you'll miss out on a top-notch pizza at a more than fair price. A pizza like this in central Naples costs at least 13 euros for the two pizzas pictured; one costs 8 euros, the other 7 euros. Top!

01/10/2025: We celebrated my grandfather's 80th birthday a few weeks ago. I'd been to this restaurant before, and after reading the reviews, I couldn't figure out why it was always packed. After trying it several times, we decided to book this small family celebration. Both before and for our birthday, we had divine food. Ciro (the owner and chef) is a very kind person, he made himself available to meet all our needs from the very beginning, and he's also a fantastic chef. The food is high-quality, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. We had a great time, and we'll be back again and again. Thank you. Chiara

07/09/2025: It was all delicious and fresh, the mozzarella was fantastic, the appetizers delicious and the most exquisite thing was the sliced ​​meat... it was a good discovery, the waiters were efficient and the owner was a helpful person... I will return and I highly recommend it

17/05/2026: Incredible location in one of my favorite places in Naples: Borgo Marinari. An ancient restaurant with excellent service and an incredible atmosphere. The food was good, but at least what we had wasn't exciting. They serve tarallini sugna e pepe in the center of the table when you sit down, and they are AMAZING! I think I ate about ten of them 🤣 Overall, a great experience!

17/05/2026: We ate some good seafood at this historic restaurant in Naples's fishing village. The spaghetti with clams was particularly good. The service was impeccable. My only complaint is that the restaurant and menu could use a bit of a refresh.

15/05/2026: What an Awful experience that was , sat down ordered our food ,which was not available,reordered I had mix fish the squid was very tough and inedible , staff not interested , we where even charged €2.50 each for sitting at the table !! Definitely not recommended.

08/05/2026: In a picturesque setting, just steps from Castel dell'Ovo and overlooking the sea, this restaurant amazed us with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Excellent value. When we return to Naples, it will be our favorite destination. Congratulations!

07/06/2026: The food was delicious, we will definitely come back. The selection of dishes was large and typically Italian. There was always a seat available – both outside the restaurant, inside, and on the terrace. The food arrived quickly. The staff was approachable and accommodating, answering our questions and fulfilling our requests.

18/05/2026: Don't go! Total disappointment, terrible experience. Where's the good food they say about Naples? The only positive thing was the waiter who offered to substitute a dish for someone with an intolerance. No desserts, and they don't even make coffee! It doesn't even deserve a star.

05/04/2026: Dora's linguine is excellent. Nice atmosphere, you feel right at home. The staff is attentive. They don't speak English very well, but we understood each other, which is the main thing. A very good time. I recommend it.

16/05/2026: One of the best pizzerias in Naples. Maybe the place doesn't look appealing but the pizza is delicious and they have a lot of options. Fast service, we found seats without a reservation. I recommend the faccia gialla pizza, it's delicious.

14/05/2026: We stopped in for an afternoon lunch and had an amazing experience! The staff was very accommodating and despite not being fluent in English, they made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The pastas were all delicious, we had Zucchini, tomato, mussels In the pasta and would recommend them all. We took a tour of the spa which looked clean and modern. Highly recommend.
