08/12/2025: Miraculously, we found room for two on a Saturday evening, as the restaurant only has a limited seating. Everything was excellent, both first and second courses. We ordered two different types of gnocchi: in the pan of the ones with Neapolitan ragù, we were able to mop up the sauce with a little bread, so much so. The second course (sausage with broccoli rabe) was served in a jar. The only flaw, but it's a matter of personal preference, was that the sausage wasn't seasoned with pepper or fennel and was a bit bland compared to the rest. The service was really quick. Highly recommended.

08/12/2025: A historic Neapolitan osteria, the food is average, but the service is unfortunately terrible. Despite their good intentions, the waiters struggle to understand requests. The management should train them better. They often made mistakes with orders, and even when it came to choosing the wine, it took a while to get a bottle. The atmosphere is cramped and very warm. The quality/price ratio remains good.

03/12/2025: If you're looking for a "genuine" place, you'll be satisfied here. Excellent food, attentive and fast service, fair prices. Fresh fish, tasty dishes, generous portions. The atmosphere is original, the space isn't huge, but it's welcoming. Recommended for connoisseurs.

10/11/2025: An excellent restaurant, a very unexpected discovery in such a remote location. The staff speaks English, and everyone is very helpful and polite. The pizza and tiramisu were served very quickly, and everything was top-notch. It's definitely worth coming here for a meal, even if the place is empty.

08/12/2025: If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. The owner insulted us after paying a hefty bill. They brought us products at ridiculously high prices, without even telling us the price. They deserve to be treated the way they treat their customers. The food is acceptable, but the prices aren't in line. What a shame for people from outside Naples. Then we even have the nerve to complain that they're insulting us or calling us scammers. Thank goodness tourists have no idea how much things cost! 🤦🏼‍♂️👎🏼

06/12/2025: Super welcoming. Enzo and Valentina are excellent owners, they make you feel at home. The food is excellent, but above all, fresh. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

08/11/2025: We were recommended this restaurant by a local... So we don't understand what went wrong. The pizza was inedible. The crust was good, but the ingredients were terrible (the tomato base was sour, the mushrooms came from a can, the prosciutto was thick and chewy...). My friend's pizza was a little better, so we ended up eating that. The service is non-existent, they bring you the food (no smile, no attention) and the check at the end. Unfortunately a fail.

19/09/2025: DO NOT GO HERE Came all the way from the UK specifically for this meal based on strong recommendations from friends and onlien reviews Booked in advance, with confirmation of the bookings ahead of time Get to the restaurant ahead of the 8pm dinner reservation and it's CLOSED for the evening. NO WARNING. NO HEADSUP. A security man on the funicular had to tell us that the restaurant was closed and no one was in yet it was open for lunch the same day. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and DISRESPECTFUL to customers to not communicate anything.

15/09/2025: The food is very good, artisanal, and the service is excellent. We went there in the evening. We had lasagna and a buffalo pizza. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it, despite the road being a bit noisy.

26/08/2025: Great experience. Very kind and friendly waitress. Our two pasta dishes were very good and generous! Very reasonable prices for both the main course and the dessert and spritz.

28/10/2025: The atmosphere was not as good as we thought. Be prepared for fast service and extra costs at this restaurant. They seem to have it as a thing here. It will be unnecessarily expensive unfortunately 😰

13/12/2025: A place suitable for tourists who have no expectations and are not familiar with authentic Neapolitan cuisine. The service is chaotic, young inexperienced ladies who cannot handle the onslaught of guests when the place is full. Bruschetta was oversalted, pizza fritta was excellent.

11/12/2025: Without any reason (or maybe there was, since I had booked with The Fork discounts), they cancelled a reservation I had made months earlier at their restaurant for work. I called the restaurant directly and asked if they had room for that same day at the same time, but strangely enough, the place was available... If you don't want The Fork customers, no one is forcing you to; it's your free choice, which also gives you great visibility. Extremely rude, impolite, and disrespectful to the customer... You've definitely lost one.

02/11/2025: A charming place... and knowledgeable staff, skilled at suggesting what to try. Unfortunately, aside from the meat (good and high-quality), everything else was mediocre... The appetizers featured some winning combinations, but the ingredients weren't up to par (rubbery mozzarella). The first course had too many spices and parsley, obscuring the true flavor of the dish, and a thin layer of lard on top that hadn't even melted (lardiata). In short, many dishes were well thought out, but executed a bit sloppily and with ingredients that weren't up to par. It could definitely improve.

19/10/2025: A terrible experience, not to be repeated. We arrived around 2:00 PM and, truth be told, we were greeted with a glass of rosé and a small portion of potato chips. Naturally, they told us to wait a bit since we hadn't booked, rightfully so. After about 30 minutes, they seated us outside, but in full sunlight. We were served a welcome portion of tripe and lupini beans ("just the right amount of calloused"). Since it was a particularly sunny day, we asked to move to a more shaded area, and so far so good (they finally moved us into the shade). From this point on, they started to lose points: we asked for a Nerano and it wasn't available, and a bottle of Lacryma Christi, also on the menu, wasn't available either. Between one zeppolina and the next, flies reigned supreme. After one appetizer each, a good two hours passed, so I decided to ask for the bill, since there wasn't even a hint of a starter. At this point, when I asked for the bill, the waitress asked if the starters had arrived. When I denied it, the waitress replied that they were about to "come out." Well, we waited another two or three minutes, and finally the first courses came out. Oh no, it was too good to be true... Only one first course arrived (pappardelle with mushrooms). We had to wait another ten minutes for the other (a Genovese). The pappardelle were generally good and blended well with the sauce, but the Genovese had some of the meat stolen on the way. I asked for the bill again, and at least they were quick about that. To try to make up for the poor impression, they offered us a taste of the Caprese salad. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible given the truly infernal wait times. A real shame, because the products used aren't bad, but the kitchen's time management was terrible. Customers like this go elsewhere. Best regards. P.S. Action needs to be taken regarding the really persistent flies outside.

04/09/2025: This is a must go to Ristorante when in Sorrento. Incredible food, friendly and accommodating staff. The owner even made a special dish for my wife and the sunset over the Bay of Napoli was so beautiful.

20/08/2025: I recommend it. Everything was perfect, kudos to the cleaning lady, as rooms this clean and tidy are hard to come by. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, which was plentiful, but the food I don't like.
