29/07/2025: We actually just wanted to have "a little something," but decided on antipasti, thinking it was a starter. What came next was more like main courses. Everything was incredibly delicious, and I've never had mussels that big here before. The ambiance was very nice, right on the beach and with the sunset. The staff was attentive, and the chef even spoke to us in Spanish, since we're unfortunately not very fluent in Italian and English.

28/07/2025: Amazing view of the water, the wait staff was beyond kind and did an excellent service, and the price of the food along with the location of the restaurant was stellar. Several phenomenal gluten free options but the best part was the quality of the food coupled with the price and the location of the restaurant was stellar. Will definitely be returning- 10/10 best meal we had on the island:)

31/07/2025: We visited Ristorante O’ Pignattello for an aperitif last weekend. The hospitality is sublime, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The staff, from the maître to the commis waiters, is attentive, professional, and kind, making sure you are well taken care of at all times. The venue is meticulously curated down to the finest details. From handcrafted tables to unique ceramic centerpieces, it’s clear that the aim was to create a welcoming space rich in artisanal references to Ischia and the Campania region. The food was the cherry on top. From the amuse-bouches prepared by the chef, to the bread basket and the final sweet pastries, every element was delightful. A special mention goes to the rabbit braciola, a delicious recipe and a creative take on the traditional Ischian rabbit dish truly outstanding. We absolutely recommend this restaurant. Rowena

24/08/2025: Excellent food, but lacking service. I've ordered takeout several times and haven't had the pleasure of waiting less than an hour and a half, not once. The staff is rude, and I'm referring to the delivery staff: they're lucky if they even provide information about what they ordered and the approximate delivery time. They often forget the drinks, too. I'm very sorry; I'll continue to order their pizza only because of the lack of competition, but they should definitely improve their relationship with their takeout customers.

14/06/2025: Very bad service and rude management. I ordered a vegetarian pizza and received one with meat. Instead of apologizing, they blamed me. After a long wait and poor treatment, they made me wait over 25 minutes for a replacement. In the end, they tried to charge me for food I didn’t eat. Totally unprofessional. Never coming back. 24/08/2025: High-quality ingredients and one of the best doughs I've ever tasted!!! The service was too rushed for my taste; I find it rude and pushy to clear your plate away immediately after you've finished, especially if the other person at the table is still eating. Avoid. This, however, doesn't change the delicious pizza.

15/08/2025: One of the best places I've ever eaten. Their steak is the best I've ever tasted. The cooking is perfect (I ordered it medium-rare) and the quality is second to none in any steakhouse. It was truly a fine dining experience. The restaurant is also very pretty, very large, and with elegant spaces for a romantic dinner. I also tried their fried cane-esque fries and the house wine, all excellent. Not to mention the service; the ladies all make a huge effort, always very friendly to the diners. Thank you so much, Edith, for your dedication! I had dinner here on my second night in Ischia and returned every day for the rest of my stay. It was always an excellent visit, even when it gets busy. Pizzeria del Corso is what the best culinary guides—uninfluenced by budgetary constraints—have in mind when recommending a restaurant. I'm already looking forward to returning.

29/08/2025: Unfortunately, as often happens in the restaurant world today, the wait staff are incompetent, but very good at selling dishes that are presented spectacularly but contain technical errors and incorrect ingredients. One example was the marrow with truffle, which was presented with a blowtorch to create both a visual effect and, I believe, primarily to create a crust. Then the vendor realized the model was raw underneath, and instead of taking it back to the kitchen, insisted on using the blowtorch, but without achieving the desired result. So he removed it from the bone and tried to spread it on the crostini, but since it was raw, it was a disaster. We asked what had happened to the truffle, and the answer was that since the dish was already acidic and they only had summer truffle, they preferred not to include it to avoid further acidity. I preferred to keep quiet about these considerations, because responding to such considerations becomes complicated. The first courses arrived within 20 minutes of each other, so one person ate while the other tasted, just to avoid having to watch. The fries were soaked in oil and almost cooked, and were sent back. They were replaced with more potatoes soaked in oil, but this time cooked. It's a shame because the first courses were good, but technical and service errors must be avoided, and this is the responsibility of both the kitchen and the person serving the dishes. Maybe it was just an unlucky evening; however kind they were, it wasn't enough to make my experience positive. I felt very uncomfortable remaining at the table, as I would have had to question almost everything, creating tension at the table. I won't be returning.

05/08/2025: I spent a wonderful evening there yesterday, August 4th, with my family. The food is divine. I recommend trying the ziti alla lardiata. It's so good I'd like to go back just for that. The bombetta was the best! The owners, what can I say? They know what hospitality means, as do the waiters. I appreciated that they chatted with us. Next time, I'll only eat meat.

29/06/2025: 🌅 New management promoted with flying colors! We spent a truly pleasant evening, immersed in a romantic atmosphere with a table overlooking the sea and a breathtaking sunset as a backdrop. The service was quick and impeccable, the staff courteous and attentive, and the quality of the food exceeded all expectations. All the courses, from appetizer to dessert, were delicious. In particular, I highly recommend the tuna steak, tender and tasty, and to finish on a sweet note, the apricot cheesecake, simply perfect. The quality-price ratio was also excellent. Sincere compliments to all the staff for the passion and care that can be perceived in every detail. We will definitely be back

13/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria. The pizzas are really good and generous. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and the service is quite fast. The restaurant is located on a busy street with parking nearby.

12/08/2025: Beautiful, very characteristic venue. Located in the center of Pompeii near the sanctuary. A wonderful evening, quality food. Excellent pizza in all its flavors. Suitable for small parties. Very professional staff. Parking is easy to find. You can eat inside or outside. Given the large crowds, it's best to book.

13/07/2025: I was a regular customer for many years, with great satisfaction, then there was a long hiatus. Unfortunately, it's now just a poor imitation of the place where all the dishes were delicious and that I loved so much. Even though they've reorganized their logistics by expanding the terrace seating, the quality of the food has significantly declined. The pizzas no longer have the same dough, the toppings used, especially the oil and sauces, are poor quality, and the appetizers are subpar and flavorless. I had to resort to Gaviscon upon returning home. I hope they'll start focusing on the quality of the ingredients again, which was what made them preferable to so many others before.

05/07/2025: Recomiendo mucho este encantador restaurante. Increíbles vistas del atardecer con fabulosos cócteles. Luego cenamos en el encantador restaurante cubierto, la comida era increíble. Recomendaría el pulpo a la plancha (pruébalo, ¡el mejor que hemos probado nunca!), luego el risotto de marisco estaba increíble. El traslado desde y hacia el restaurante fue muy de agradecer. Un servicio encantador y una velada inolvidable. ¡Gracias!

08/09/2025: Honestly this place is whackkkk. Got a pasta & it was literally butter & boiled water on my plate. For €18 such a waste of money & food, could have been cooked properly & flavourful. Then they forgot to send out my friends plate of food, literally got mine and then his a literal hour after, we said where’s his plate & the waiter said we didn’t order another meal, we were like yes we did & then he checked & said oh yeah you did order, I’m sooo stressed. Like? Loool I get it back come on now, people came after us & they served them before us. Not a good experience.

12/06/2025: TOURIST TRAP. Terrible pizza similar to frozen pizza, unpleasant environment. The place closes at midnight, we arrived at 11pm asking if it was possible to sit down to eat, they told us there were no problems, however we felt very embarrassed because even before we started eating the waiters started to dismantle all the tables and we found ourselves being the only table under the gazebo, with the waiters watching us.

08/07/2025: A meal for 3, a pasta dish deemed very good by the one who tasted it. The huge disappointment came from the squid and baby vegetable dish that the 2 of us ordered. A completely bland and dry dish. Only a hint of ketchup accompanied this dish. To be reviewed urgently.

28/06/2025: I don't write much reviews and I'm bothered by the countless reviews scattered around the web that are often unreliable, both for better and for worse. That said, the lawyer deserves a super positive comment. The quality of the raw materials is beyond question, in the preparation of the dishes you can sense technique and knowledge in the kitchen. I liked everything. Even the wine list is extensive. The only criticism I can make is in the incredible and abundant portions that I would not have expected in a gourmet tasting menu. By the third course I was full... It seems like blasphemy but slightly smaller portions would have made me enjoy everything with greater pleasure. So a godsend for hungry forks... Dulcis in fundo... Really honest prices. Congratulations. As soon as I have the opportunity to return to Naples it will certainly be a must-see.
