29/09/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante dietro consiglio di conoscenti, per pura fortuna abbiamo trovato l’ultimo tavolo disponibile per la serata, infatti dopo qualche minuto dal nostro arrivo non era rimasto neanche più un tavolo libero. Atmosfera magica con un tetto di limoni in maturazione, abbiamo ordinato un piatto di coniglio alla procidana talmente buono da chiedere poi il bis, il servizio è stato velocissimo, personale attento e preparato. Sicuramente torneremo.

25/02/2025: Historic restaurant on the Sorrento Peninsula with a strong tradition behind it which manifests itself in high-level classic Sorrento cuisine with the use of raw materials that are among the best available in the area. The location is very beautiful with internal rooms and terraces overlooking Capri. The owner Francesco is the plus of the structure with his friendliness and competence. Amazing staff Well done!!!

08/04/2025: Amazing venue and delicious food. We were so impressed with our lunch that we decided to dine at sister restaurant in town Vrasa. We ordered a three antipasti which were all delicious especially the tuna in almond crust. Yummy!!

05/04/2025: I share this experience only to warn you that the prices have doubled compared to a few years ago in the menu photos. This is a medium-level restaurant with high-level restaurant prices (on average 28 euros for a first course).. frequented mainly by American tourists

07/04/2025: En general está bien para una cena tradicional o pizza, pero realmente nada especial. La pizza está bien, la "fritura" un poco pesada. A pesar de no ser coronado el servicio fue muy muy lento. Además, es agradable tener un ambiente familiar, pero el propietario / gerente debe tener mejores modales.

29/03/2025: We had dinner in this tavern recommended by our receptionist, a real marvel, excellent food. And as confirmation of the high quality, at the end of dinner we witnessed the delivery of the fresh catch. A real show 😍.

16/10/2024: Stayed here for 2 nights in Oct. And even though I did not get to use the sun decks everything was perfect. If you dine at the restaurant u have to order the mussels. It was the best we had the entire trip. Service was excellent, we had a room with terrace and it was the most beautiful sunset. (room 7) 4* for location as it’s not the most accessible! U need a taxi boat most of the time or if u walk it’s a hilly dark road to the castle/ponte area. Every single staff was so kind.

13/10/2024: Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti dalla receptionist Francesca che ci ha dato il benvenuto con un grande sorriso, ( al quanto difficile da trovare oggi altrove…) e ci ha fornito in maniera impeccabile tutte le indicazioni per usufruire del nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo iniziato dalle piscine, tra cui 3 di acqua calda e 1 temperatura ambiente, pulitissime e nuove. Poi ci siamo diretti verso il solarium esterno sospeso sul mare con vista mozzafiato sulla baia di Cartaromana, dove ci siamo concessi un po’ di relax e qualche bagno a mare. Nel pomeriggio abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere la signorina Emilia, gentilissima e super disponibile a qualsiasi nostra richiesta, che si è occupata dell' organizzazione della nostra cena , riservandoci un tavolo vista mare ed esaudendo ogni nostra richiesta sempre con il sorriso. Alla cena ci accoglie Emiliano, accompagnandoci al tavolo. Su suo consiglio abbiamo scelto un menu degustazione di 5 portate lasciandoci guidare dall’esperienza e professionalità di Emiliano e dello Chef. Prodotti freschi e ricercati, si sente tutta la passione e la ricerca del dettaglio; i crudi ottimi, per non parlare delle cozze alla griglia con intingolo alle 12 erbe isolane e gli gnocchetti con pesto, vongole e taralli. In particolare complimenti alla Pasticcera Roberta, pasticceria davvero di livello, tiramisù e torta a cioccolato da libidine.😍

26/03/2025: Very nice lunch; Buffalo mozzarella with fresh tomatoes, fresh pasta with artichoke, and sausage finally lemon and ricotta ravioli. Service was prompt.

02/03/2025: Amazing food and service, the best restaurant we found in the 10 days we were here. Nice local produce and food cooked perfectly with very reasonable prices. We ended up going 3 times but wished it was more. Will definitely go back if we ever come back to the area.

17/04/2025: I went to that restaurant today, and I felt like I was wasting money. First of all, the food was meh, and I got a seafood risotto and the rice tasted nothing like rice, as it felt like it was well undercooked. All of the food was over priced and it wasn’t even close to worth what I was paying for. They charged 8€ a person to eat bread and the bread was stale and hard, and they only gave us something like 8 pieces of small bread. It costed 220€ for 4 small pastas. The overall cost was about 300€ for 5 people, and it was barely worth half of that price, so I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

15/04/2025: Wow, wow, wow. Da Paolino is fabulous. What you see in photos is what you get. There are lemon trees all over and it’s just simply beautiful. The service is unbelievable, and the food was excellent. Definitely a “must do” when you’re in Capri. Make reservations because it does fill up quickly.

23/02/2025: Purtroppo, l'esperienza da frate cosimo è stata molto deludente. Nonostante avessimo una prenotazione, abbiamo dovuto aspettare quasi un'ora per sederci al tavolo, non è un buon inizio di serata, ma capiamo che di sabato possa accadere. Quando finalmente è arrivata la tagliata a uno di noi, si è accorta che non era condita con l'aceto balsamico, come indicato nel menu, ma con una salsa di colore scuro immangiabile e con un odore pessimo, che a detta loro era una salsa di ceci. Come se non bastasse, abbiamo trovato un pelo nel dolce, cosa che può succedere anche nei migliori locali, ma la cosa che mi ha infastidito molto è quando lo abbiamo segnalato al cameriere, lui è andato a segnalarlo in cucina e un altro cameriere gli ha risposto in modo arrogante, dicendo che era impossibile che fosse accaduto. Non torneremo sicuramente e non possiamo consigliare questo locale a nessuno.

05/01/2025: Raggiungerlo è un impresa. Scesa dall auto quasi mi rompevo il piede, visto la strada dissestate. Abbiamo aspettato un ora e mezzo per la pizza. Pizza bruciata lateralmente , molto sottile , secca, e sotto tutta sporca di cenere. Abbiamo preso il vino della casa che sembrava aceto. Antipasto mediocre di salumi.

10/11/2024: 01.11.2024 - For you who are looking for an emotion, not just food, here is the right place. Located in the center of bewitching Sorrento, in an alley made special by the presence of this "Restaurant", which in reality is a destination for those who have already had the pleasure of sitting at the tables. Ivan, son of a father whose father was limping but still in love with his activity, played football in these alleys; now he serves tables very well and every customer is like an old friend. Thank you, because in a very short stay, guardian of an important date, you have given us an emotion forever. The food? Nothing to say; it was a sublime side dish in a corner of Paradise. See you soon.

12/04/2025: Overall experience was good We ordered some chicken and seafood tasting menu The chicken was slightly undercooked but the portions were quite small for the price The seafood had good yet distinct taste. No fishy taste. There was some good cooking. Tiramisu was marvellous 😍 Long waiting lines. Baby chairs aren’t safe. The waiting staff does know what needs to be recommended. Downside- NO FRESH ORANGE JUICE

08/04/2025: A hidden gem just off the main thoroughfare in Sorrento; our party dove in here for our first meal after arriving, and it set the benchmark for the remainder of our stay. The choice of dishes is excellent, and the quality is superb. The staff could not be more helpful (or generous!) - we had a delicious lunch at Il Leone, and could see how popular it was from the constant arrival of diners throughout our meal. Give it a try - disappointment is NOT on the menu!

14/04/2025: Rustic atmosphere, excellent cuisine with very fresh fish and kind and professional staff. Exceptional prices for what you eat. Being a fishmonger the choice of wines is limited, but for the rest highly recommended.

20/11/2024: A truly stunning & complete luxury wedding location with unimaginable views. The combination of stylish rooms, spacious ceremony areas and fine dining areas make this location a perfect destination wedding setting.
