08/03/2026: I went only once to Trattoria Avellinese, but I can say that I liked it quite a lot. A typical Neapolitan restaurant with very good hospitality. The service was very fast, the food was very good, and the staff very friendly. Next time I go to Naples, I will definitely go there again.

24/02/2026: Last night we decided on a pizza on the spur of the moment... and since we never managed to get in on the weekends (it's always full) my husband and I decided to take the plunge and I have to say the pizzeria is worthy of its reputation... delicious pizzas, plentiful and above all a perfect dough and cooking... friendly staff, warm and welcoming place... the pastiera was surprising... fair value for money... we'll be back for the restaurant menu... I highly recommend it.

21/02/2026: We visited Ciarly Pizzeria and Restaurant, located in Piazzale Tecchio - Maradona Stadium, and overall, the experience was positive. We ate excellent Italian-style fried food, well-made and tasty, and we were also satisfied with the pizza: good, well-cooked, and easy to digest. The prices were fair and in line with the quality offered. The only negative aspect was the organization of the service on a particularly busy day like Saturday. The pizzas didn't arrive at the table in a coordinated manner: some of us had already finished, while others had to wait up to ten minutes for theirs. The delay was likely caused by the fact that the pizza chef was busy with both preparation and cooking, thus having to manage too many tasks at once. One suggestion would be to divide these roles between two people, so as to make the service more fluid and synchronized. Overall, however, it's a place where you eat well and where I would return, hoping to see even more efficient organization during busier times.

21/01/2026: Tucked away in the center of town, this small restaurant immediately stands out for its authentic hospitality. Peppe, the owner, was waiting for me. With great expertise, he showed me how to prepare the first courses, explaining the process behind each recipe. I had lunch with a masterful Genovese: the sauce enveloped the pasta perfectly, while the meat, expertly cooked for hours, melted in the mouth with the delicacy of freshly melted butter. A balance of flavors that celebrates Neapolitan tradition without frills, but with great respect for the ingredients. A place to keep in mind, to return to, and, above all, to recommend to those seeking authenticity.

06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

07/01/2026: I'd say it was an excellent experience: delicious pizzas, even for celiacs, friendly and attentive service, and competitive prices. It's become a must-visit when I visit Agropoli, especially since it's right on the waterfront. The pizza I had with river peppers and pancetta was incredibly good, with a Neapolitan-style honeycomb dough expertly crafted. The Messina beers on tap are always a pleasure.

03/03/2026: The best parmigiana di Melzne I've ever tasted. The pasta alla Genovese was also wonderful, and the service was superb. They made us feel right at home. Very cozy atmosphere and high-quality, homemade food.

23/08/2025: A friend took us to this family owned restaurant. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed it. The meat was so soft and juicy there was almost no need to chew it. We got to try a lot of different dishes. I really recommend trying the olive spread and their pork. We could communicate in English without any trouble. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was great. If you are in Ruviano make sure to go! 😊

30/01/2026: Dinner experience on Thursday, January 29, 2026. I was hesitant to eat there because, being winter and the hotel undergoing renovations, there was scaffolding at all the restaurant windows. Aside from the two of us, when we arrived at 7:30 pm, there was only one other couple and their child. So, I preferred to disregard the atmosphere, because if tourists don't go in winter, it's not their fault, and renovations are inevitable for all buildings. So, we sat down anyway. And we were very glad we went. Everything was perfect! The waiter started by offering us a plate of delicious little bites. Then, I ordered the "Ricardo menu" and was first served a seafood platter with an assortment of beautifully prepared bites! My wife started with the lemon risotto. She loved it. Then my zucchini ravioli were delicious, and my wife had a veal escalope with lemon, which she also enjoyed. We shared a fruit panna cotta and a cappuccino. All of this was served with impeccable service. Thank you. Grazie!

11/10/2025: Great lunch with an incredible view! The food is simply EXCELLENT and it's only outdone by the staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The two guys waiting on us on the terrace by the pool were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Kind efficient fast professional super friendly and went above and beyond Grazie per un pranzo che non dimenticheremo mai!!

10/09/2025: We were there again this summer with a group of 35 people, including adults and children. A summer staple. The food is excellent, from the cold cuts to the side dishes and cheeses, everything is delicious, even the pizza. The highlight... great meat.

16/11/2025: We came across this place on accident in Positano and we're so happy we did. The pizza and octopus were amazing, also tired some recommended dishes. The vibe is perfect, and the service is 5 star.

27/01/2026: We were there in winter with a large group. The service was friendly. However, some of the food is not recommended. Everything is displayed behind a glass partition. The dishes were prepared in advance, arrived cold, and were then all heated in the microwave. They came to the table lukewarm to cold! After complaining, they were microwaved again and were quite dry. None of the dishes I ordered were freshly prepared. I can't comment on the fish dishes. I have rarely eaten so poorly for such a high price.
